Nestled in town, right on the mineral belt trail, this cute vacation rental has all the expected amenities of a home. A well-stocked kitchen makes cooking convenient. A short walk gets you to downtown Leadville and all the attractions. Nice sized rooms (1 Queen and 1 Full) and a wonderful front porch and yard Bonus room for additional sleeping (twin bed on floor). Enjoy your Leadville getaway with this inexpensive downtown option.

Quaint and comfy little house. Very clean and managers were very easy to work with. It's very small with one very small bath, but really comfortable for a long weekend.

This is a nice little house in a great location near downtown and right by a beautiful trail that goes around the town. We stayed for a week and had a great time!

The home is a quaint 1880's Victorian, and most of these homes are not perfectly level. Many guests enjoy staying in an authentic Victorian when visiting Leadville. It works for a couple of people. Some of the furniture and fixtures are just old and tired but everything works. Location is great.

Quaint, cozy house. Perfect for our needs to acclimate to the altitude before our niece’s wedding nearby. WiFi and tv reception was excellent. Close in walking distance or short drive to everything needed. Management company was responsive to any questions we had.

Darling little turn of the century home in historic 2 mi-hi Leadville CO. House was exactly as photos shown and described in the write up. A pleasant short walk to town especially durning the beautiful Fall turning of the aspens. The kitchen was my fav room to observe the creativeness of each detail from dish washing soap to WasherDryer, essential cooking items, plus the dish and silverware cabinets The beds were very comfy w nice liners. A lot of work went into the tiny but workable bathroom and it shows. Good shower, new vanity and toilet. One can again ‘see’ the creativeness needed to bring the house to safety standards w plenty of hot water electricity and heat for each room.

Overall we enjoyed our time here. Kitchen was well stocked. Some of the furniture felt a bit tired, especially the room that had broken blinds, dresser and headboard. Great location.

Comfortable, safe, convenient.

I felt comfortable and safe in this clean, cozy home. The proximity to downtown was very helpful! Communication with the property management was timely and appreciated! There was a little traffic noise one night, but overall this was not a problem. I enjoyed my stay!!

We were in communication with you regarding the wifi issues, and the router just needed to be reset, which we had walked you through over the phone. (There had been a power outage in the area.) We sent someone over the next morning to reset the router. We hope to host your next stay in Leadville.

Nice little house for our short stay

A friend and I planned a trip to Leadville to hike one of the local 14ers. It was a short trip, in on Friday night, out on Sunday morning (came from out of state), and this little house was perfect for us. Beds were comfortable, small kitchen, dining room, bathroom with shower, and front room with TV was all we needed. Proximity to Downtown is walkable in about 10 minutes, and there is a dollar store close enough to walk to for any last minute items (as well as a liquor store). The local bike path passes right beside the house, which is very convenient for casual cyclists or the more serious kind as well.

Unique and memorable Stay.

Nice house with lots of interesting and appealing aspects that made for good experience. The beds were comfortable, the heat worked well, internet was fine, and hot water was realizable, towels and other essentials were available with no frills. The floor was slanted somewhat and the character of the house was very interesting. A great place and close to downtown…all at a reasonable price. My only complaint was that management never responded to my questions before arrival, but thankfully everything worked out, but communication with a human would have been nice along with a garbage can to throw out trash outdoors as instructions dictated.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We never received any pre arrival communication from you through VRBO or directly. We send out a pre-arrival digital guest book and arrival letter which both contain direct email and cell phone number contact info. Occasionally we have found that communication through VRBO gets "lost in transit" and we apologize. The trash cans, as specified in the digital guest book, are available at the back of the house right outside the back door. We hope to host your next stay in Leadville!

Great place for a small group.

The house was well organized,, supplied, and clean. We had a group of 4 (2 adults, 2 children 10 and under) it was perfect for our group but much bigger than that and it’s too small. Parking was a little touch and go due to the amount of snow that Leadville got this year. Once we arrived, someone cleaned off the snow for us and we were able to park. I do wish there was a little more direction on the check in form about where our parking was but without the snow I’m sure it would have been easier to tell.

Overall the property just what you would expect for the price and works great for place to stay while you’re hitting the slopes. I would say worst thing about the property are the hosts. They live on the property. They were rude to my guest. The man came off as very aggressive/combative when speaking to my guests. They were constantly around the house and looking through the windows. It was super weird. I have never experienced that before. Overall very affordable and clean place to stay long as you don’t mind a lookee Lou and a peeping Tom.

Safety concerns

Smoke detectors were disabled and hanging from the ceiling. Entry to the house was not shoveled therefore due to warm weather we wadded through deep water to enter. Then at night the ice was dangerous.

Thank you for leaving feedback. Our guests safety and comfort are of our utmost concern with all of the properties we manage. We inspect every property before arrival and try our best to catch items such as a smoke alarm issue. Batteries are replaced every 6 months in all of our rental properties. I am sorry you found an alarm hanging down, but I'm certain it was still operational. I have dispatched a handyman to secure all of the alarms at this property. Regarding the entry to the home, we have all properties plowed with each storm. This property has a sloped entry, and the time of year you visited likely played a large part in the melt/ ice issue. SNow from the yard and surrounding the walkway may have melted and created an ice issue when temps dropped at night. I leave a card with my personal cell phone for each arrival, and I wish you would have called me as soon as you arrived so that I could address these issues. I hope you consider staying with us at another of our properties the next time you visit Leadville.
