Located in walking distance from all the downtown conveniences and also has easy access to multiple trail systems. Bedrooms have one queen in one room, A queen in the other room and the last bedroom has a queen and a twin. For a total of four beds. House has a full kitchen and lots of space for guests. Leadville is not only home to enthusiastic snow bikers, it's also famous for its way-beyond-marathon races. The Silver Rush 50 Run is high-altitude madness: "Take on 50 miles of extreme territory that starts at 10,200 feet and reaches 12,000 feet four times." The best part? It prepares runners "for the pinnacle Leadville 100". Yes, that's a 100 mile-run in the high Rockies.Leadville's population balloons during these extreme running events. But at other times of the year, families can enjoy an uncrowded visit in this totally cool little town, that's the highest incorporated city in the U.S.

Leadville was a mining boom-town and is still graced with vintage buildings. Families who visit in winter can ski and board at the very affordable nearby Ski Cooper ski resort.
