East Lake Dr. Lakefront home with a pool.

3000 + sq ft and just steps from Gin Beach (okay, maybe a 1/4 mile) sits our home. We take great pride in maintaining this house so that it does not feel like a rental. This is our dream home. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths upstairs and a 4th bedroom on the main level. There is over 3000 sq ft of Brazilian hardwood decking and a gated pool that is right on the water. The house has 3 full baths and an outdoor shower. The downstairs has a very large and open great-room (kitchen,dining, and living room. There is also a separate family(TV)room and the 4th bedroom. A custom built laundry room finished with antique lumber. All the floors were recently redone with reclaimed antique Oak (not shown in photos). The house is a short drive from center of town and the main beaches, but is far enough that you wont experience the madness that Montauk can be at times. The house has a small private lake beach in the backyard with access to Lake Montauk. The lake opens up to the ocean at the inlet about a 1/2 mile away. The house is not a share/party house, but is the perfect home to build memories with family and friends. Happy house hunting!

Awesome House!!

We had the best time at this house!! It was perfect for our extended family to get together and enjoy eachothers company. There is so much space in the kitchen moving out to the deck and walking out to the lake beach. It was perfect with young kids. We can not wait to be back! Mark the owner was so friendly and really helped us with out stay and gave great suggestions! Thanks Mark, we will definitely be back!!

Heaven on Earth

This home and setting are beautiful and tranquil. Spacious enough for a large gathering with warm personal touches that make it homey & so comfortable. The pride the owners take in their home is apparent in the personal attention they give to renters to insure a most enjoyable stay. And all the beautiful flowers, gorgeous Adirondack chairs to curl up by the fire, sip some wine, read a book, while the children are playing safely down the path at the lake beach or in the yard gym set. We have had the pleasure of enjoying this home on many occasions and would recommend it to all for any type of beach get away you want.

AWESOME is an understatement!!!!!!!

No words to describe this fabulous house. The views, the pool and absolutely everything about the house is magnificent and "top of the line". We had a great reunion with children and grandchildren and everyone agreed that is house exceeded "perfection". Every detail of the house was unbelievably beautiful and so well thought out. The plantings and flowers as well as everything else should be featured in a magazine. We all have wonderful memories of our week. THANK YOU MARK FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP. We look forward to coming back.

Scenic and Serene

While there are many places to stay out East, this home on East Lake Drive is perhaps the best possible balance of beach and town proximity, scenic sunsets, nearby restaurants and relaxation along with an easy living home with the newest amenities like Sonos surround sound and cozy comforts like a wood burning fireplace and open floor plan. I can't say enough good things about the home's condition and layout as it's ideal for a few couples or family with young children, and the location is again just ideal for anything you may want to experience while in Montauk. And beyond the home itself, the owners are incredibly communicative and accommodating and genuinely pleased to share their home. The pictures on the listing don't do the home nor the location and view justice and we were thrilled to spend time on East Lake Drive. Thank you again for the wonderful experience.

While this home was nive, it lacked luxury ammenities such as plush towels, bed linens, and pillows. The king bed had three anemic standard sized pillows. The bathrooms had rugs that looked rather dingey and made me want to wash them. The kitchen was great and the deck/poil area expansive, but could have used a good power washing and landscaping help (weeding and muching of flowerbeds as well as some annual flowers to add some color). The best feature of yhe hkuse was the iPad with sonos system that allowed you to lisyen to music throughout the house.

Amazing family vacation!

My family of 6 was lucky enough to spend two weeks at this amazing house last August. It is located in the perfect location-right on the lake and just a short drive to ditch plains beach and town. It is also walking distance to Gin beach which Is a great place to watch the sunset. I have 4 boys ranging in ages from 7-15. They each say this was one of their favorite family vacations. We rented two kayaks from town to use during our two week stay. Mark, the owner (who is a pleasure to deal with and did everything he could to make our stay perfect) also left us his paddle board to use. My boys would go fishing everyday in the lake. We also loved the pool and the lawn provided us enough space to play corn toss and spike ball. Great family fun! The house was clean and spacious and Mark was always available to answer my questions before and during our trip. If we ever rent in Montauk this is the only house we will stay at. It was perfect!!

Excellent property

Property is as described. One of the best locations in Montauk. Close to all. Lovely home and amazing views of Star Island and the yachts. Mark was very easy to work with. Will plan to return.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We spent a week at Mark's beautiful Montauk property to kick off Summer and could not have had a better experience or a more memorable vacation. The property and location was stunning. We enjoyed the pool, the views, the kids loved the playground in the yard. Mark was an incredible host with great recommendations for activities and restaurants, and a quick answer to any question we had. We felt right at home here and would absolutley love to come back.

Fabulous Location, Fabulous Home, Fabulous Vacation

The home is beautifully decorated very large rooms to spread out in. The outside is absolutely amazing too!! Covered Deck and lounge area along with dining area are surrounded by the beauty of Lake Montauk. They have a great indoor/outdoor speaker system which we used everyday from morning till bedtime. The kitchen has everything you need, utensils, pots, pans, serving trays, bowls, etc. everything is there. Just fill up refrigerator and pantry and you are set!. Brand new barbecue grill was fantastic. The pool was lovely and heated and the viewsssssss are spectacular. This may sound funny but the water pressure was excellent too!!! Everyone commented lol. The flowers outside made the picture perfect setting! Back to the location....did I mention how FABULOUS it is. Gin Beach is a stones throw away and we saw the most amazing sunsets. We stayed at the house most of the time as we had everything we could possibly have right there. Mark kept in contact during my visit just to check to see if all was good and YES is was real GOOD!!!!!!! We definitely would come back and want to go back!! Beauty Birthday Blessed

Was planning a big birthday long weekend and was obsessed with this home which had been booked for the time we needed. This owner actually moved things around for us to be able to share his home with my family for this special time! Felt as if I was home, with every amenity needed, and believe me I wish I was lol! Plenty of spaces for alone time, kid time, family time. He helped with a private chef and was accessible the entire time. We had an unforgettable time with our growing family with infants, toddlers, our four children and new puppy. My family planned and made this weekend one to remember forever. It has to be the best birthday I have ever had watching the boats from our deck, swimming, cooking, eating, cocktails, toasting marshmallows, fishing, relaxing dancing, and having a photographer, just perfect being with those I love. I could not think of a better way to spend a milestone birthday. We will never forget this special place nor the service from these special owners.

Amazing !!

The house was absolutely beautiful and accommodating for myself and family. We all had a great time in the pool, barbecuing and enjoying the breathtaking views from the backyard & upstairs deck. Mark was also very helpful throughout the entire booking process and quick answering all of our questions. Would 100% recommend for a nice getaway.

Look no further, this is the beach house you’ve been looking for.

My family vacation all over the country once a year together. We are seasoned travelers and have stayed at the most gorgeous places. This place will blew you all away. The owner, Mark and his family, went out of their way throughout the vacation to make it memorable and truly we have never had such service from an owner, WOW. The house has fantastic views and even better then described. Extremely clean, beautifully decorated and every amenity you could ask for. Absolutely wonderful home!

The home is gorgeous. Situated on Montauk Lake in a lovely neighborhood the home is spacious and welcoming. Plenty of space to enjoy the boats entering and leaving the harbor. Mark was a terrific host. Very easily accessible and made us feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend and my family and I hope to return next year

Spent another great extended Memorial Day! Despite such unprecedented times we were provided a safe sanctuary to get away from it all. MTK is our favorite spot and always will be. The owner’s hospitality is always beyond expectations and can’t wait to go back!

A week in Montauk

Our family has just experienced the most amazing week in Montauk. Shed a little tear as I walked through the door for the first time. Beautiful home in stunning location. Perfect for our family reunion with our offspring coming from NY/ Australia and London. Extremely well equipped home and Mark, the owner could not have been more helpful. We spent an awesome extended Memorial Day weekend at this house. It has an amazing location and all the amenities you could hope for. Breathtaking views, pool right on East Lake. Beautiful house, great host and perfect vacation

The house is amazing -- beautiful and all the best amenities. We spent 5 great days and nights sitting by the pool, barbecuing, roasting marshmallows, walking to the beach, and making the short trip into town. Everything was perfect. And Mark is a fantastic host, always available and responsive and incredibly knowledgeable (about things to do, places to eat, etc.). We had a truly great trip and can't wait to return!

There is an amazing view from everywhere in this house. I don't think you will find many pools in MTK this close to the water. I can't say enough about how much we love Gin Beach. There are not many places on the east coast where you can see the sun disappear into the water as it sets. Gin beach is one of them. Every night right down the block. There is no better (cheaper) way to enjoy an evening in Montauk. Pack dinner, light a fire. You can also watch the sunset from our private beach on the lake or from the couch on the deck.
