Amazing house with fully equipped kitchen, two very comfy living areas, plenty of TVs and games and puzzles and books, easy garage access that fit SUV and ski roof box, easy laundry, and other nice to have’s like a steam shower and jetted soaking tub, and automatic window shades. Host is easy to reach and her home is lovely. While we usually head right from Tahoe Donner to Palisades, this trip there was less snow so we skied but also did some fantastic snowshoeing and went to the gym and sauna nearby too. Great week all around, and would definitely stay here again.

Five star stay

We felt so welcome at this home away from home in Tahoe Donner. It is spacious and cozy at the same time, beautifully decorated, with a kitchen stocked with everything a home cook could wish for. We loved watching the falling snow through the two-story windows next to the fireplace. Our deep appreciation for having us.

Excellent experience on all fronts. Host went above and beyond to accomodate us. Property is as advertised and much more! Kitchen is furnished as a chef's dream come true for a vacation home. Grounds are beautiful. House feels very much like home. Many Kudos to our Host!

5 Star Property in Great Tahoe Donner Location!

My husband and I rented this property for a month of relaxation during July, and we were not disappointed! It is located on a quiet street in Tahoe Donner, with lots of privacy and close to lots of Tahoe Donner amenities, including hiking trails, pools, gym, restaurants, bike rentals, equestrian center and golf course. It's a 10 minute drive to Donner Lake, the beach & water-sports. Inside and out, the property was immaculate, with high end linens/bedding and furnishings. The home's back patio(s) and water feature are awesome, complete with lounge furniture, dining table, fire-pit and barbecue. The kitchen was fully equipped and stocked with basic necessities that helped us feel at home with our first meal. Jennifer is a great communicator. She responded quickly when we had questions and also gave us much appreciated tips on local activities. We highly recommend this property; it far surpassed our expectations. Our family was amazed with the total Tahoe Donner experience and want to return next year. We will definitely rent here again.

Winter Wonderland

We arrived a few days late due to the storm and Jennifer helped us navigate and was very helpful! The house is very cozy and comfortable. The decor is beautiful and the kitchen is well equipped. Super comfortable beds and great shower with steam in the Master bedroom. Overall, we had a wonderful time and can highly recommend this property. Thank you

Would Give 10 stars rating if I could!!!

We just got back from staying 1 week at this beautiful home! We loved everything about this place, and didn’t want to leave. Well appointed, all the amenities that you can ask for…this house had. All the appliances, furniture, fixtures in the house were very high end! Everything was well kept, so clean, beds were super comfortable! The whole house is beautifully decorated, as previous reviews stated , the house look much more beautiful in person, this is very true because when we first got in we were blown away at how beautiful the house was. The owner, Jennifer, is sooooo nice and responsive ! She regularly gave us updates of alerts for any weather related issues, which we really appreciated! She always responded very quickly to any questions that we had! She gave us great recommendations of all the things to do in Truckee! The layout of the house is so awesome, we loved that all of the bedrooms were on the main floor. Loved the open concept of the house and how it was so well lit! The backyard was gorgeous with a really nice sitting area & waterfall. The neighborhood is very quiet with not a lot of cars driving through, which made it really peaceful. Words cannot express how we love this place. If we could give this house a 10 stars rating , we would. We had an awesome, relaxing week because this house was so perfect for our family. We had 5 adults & a dog and it there was plenty of room! Thank you Jennifer for being such a gracious & hospitable host! Cannot wait to come back & stay at this house again!

Amazing stay!

Love this house! Located on a quiet street in a beautiful Sierra setting. Fantastic backyard with a fire pit and a running stream. The house is super well stocked and very comfortable- has everything.

Beautiful home and amazing outdoor space

The house was very nice and had everything necessary for a wonderful vacation experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely would recommend it. The outdoor spaces with the waterfall were so enjoyable. Truly a lovely place.

Intimate, immaculate, charming - your perfect getaway

Wow...a stunning setting in a lovely, spotless home. The kitchen was brimming with everything you need to cook and/or just entertain. Showers, linens and beds are superb. The living space is comfortable for everyone and the yard with its cozy patio with waterfall and firepit is the ideal place to reconnect with people you love. Love this house and appreciate the how easy the owner made everything.

Beautiful mountain home

We rented this house for a week. The house is more beautiful than shown in the photos, and the backyard setting is a dream. The kitchen is very well appointed unlike so many vacation rentals. Highly recommend this property.

Gorgeous home/Wonderful Hosts

We just spent a leisurely week at this fabulous home in Truckee! Literally everything in this home is designed for optimal comfort and enjoyment, on par with many 5-star hotels! Kitchen so well equipped and living areas beautifully arranged, and the backyard patios and waterfalls are perfect for that setting! We loved this house, and our host, Jennifer, was so thoughtful, kind and considerate in every way. We will definitely make this our 'home away from home' in Truckee!!

A Treasure!

We just spent a fabulous summer week at this gorgeous home. Every detail has been thought through and the reality exceeds the beautiful photos. The stream feature in the backyard is stunning and we ate all our meals at the big table next to it. The home itself has everything you need and more for a wonderful vacation. Jennifer is an outstanding host -- great communication and thoughtfulness. I can't say enough good things about her home in the woods.

Gorgeous, relaxing and pet friendly moutain home

We loved our stay in Jennifer's Custom Craftsman Style Home! Jennifer was great to work with and her beautiful home with modern furnishings had everything we needed and more in the kitchen and laundry room. We loved the outdoor space in the front and backyard and will definitely be back!

Tahoe Donner Oasis

We just spent a week in this lovely home and it was all that was promised and more! Great location, all of the amenities and kitchen gear including a gas grill. The backyard and water feature are amazing and inside or out, add a tranquility that is unbelievable!! We’ll be back!

Exceeded expectations

We just came back from a 10 night stay, and we were so thrilled with the house. The home has beautiful finishes, and has a perfect balance of modern and rustic feel. And the kitchen is perfect - well-appointed is an understatement! You will not lack for anything for preparing meals. The backyard is private and great for relaxing, made even more serene by the water feature. We also enjoyed the front deck, which is nice and shady under the pines and perfect for an afternoon drink. The house is on a very quiet street, often hours went by with no cars. So you really feel 'away from it all'. We took full advantage of what Tahoe Donner has to offer: beach, hiking, horseback riding, pools, restaurants, etc. The owner Jennifer was readily available, although everything we would need was very clearly laid out for us. Overall, we had one of our best vacations and would love to return as soon as we can!

Warm and Cozy Get a Way for our Family

Absolutely exceeded our expectations! The cabin was even more beautiful in person and we loved every minute up here. The kitchen had everything you would need/want to stay in a create fabulous meals and bake cookies. We rang in the New Year playing games around perfect size dining table. We love that you and your family love your fur babies like we do, we were so thankful to have them with us to enjoy the Holiday. Thanks for an enjoyable and very memorable experience! Everything was great! We can't wait to book again!

Beautiful Clean Home

We loved the home. It was perfect for 6 adults. Very clean and beautifully furnished. The back yard is amazing. Bathrooms were very nice. Kitchen was well stocked. Parking was great for 3 cars. We would definitely stay here again. Was great having all three bedrooms down stairs.

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE IN AN ENCHANTING HOUSE!

We just spent 8 days in Truckee, and everything was perfect, from the house, to our host Jen, and the location! We picked the house from at least 10 that we narrowed down to, and it was worth in every aspect. The house was spacious, clean, with incredible style, and the backyard has a fire pit and a 'waterfall' that are absolutely incredible! We gazed stars every night, and grilled outside to the sounds of nature and the waterfall. The town is close to Tahoe Donner and Lake Tahoe, a must go getaway, and you'll find yourself with not enough days to enjoy all the outdoor activities! Jen, thanks for a wonderful experience in your house!
