The Artist Cottage at Windy Hill

Welcome to Doylestown, voted one of the most beautiful towns in Pennsylvania! Our Artist Cottage is a charming 275 sqft space next to the courtyard behind our nineteenth-century Farmhouse. It is ideal for 2 guests on a weekend getaway. The Cottage has a full bathroom with a shower (no tub) and a small, but sweet, kitchen. There is no stove or oven, but we have equipped it with all you'll need. There is a mini fridge, a sink, a convenient stainless steel work counter, a microwave, a toaster, and a coffee/tea maker. We have dishes, utensils, a watercolor painting station, cool art books, and a Liberty puzzle for your enjoyment. The courtyard features a sitting area, small gardens, and a water feature, the perfect respite in mild weather. The Artist Cottage can be exchanged for guest points separately from our Farmhouse.

Property was charming, very clean, and private, on a beautifully restored old farm. Check in was a breeze with full instructions and keys left inside. Not a full kitchen but microwave, coffee maker, frig and dishes/utensils to prepare light meals or take out.

Booked the cottage last minute for a weekend getaway, it did not disappoint. Super location with tons to do nearby while located in a serene country setting. Plenty of space for a couple. Everything was exactly as described or better! Would definitely book again!

Sweet Getaway

Staying at the Artistā€™s Cottage was relaxing, comfortable, and a sweet location!! Itā€™s close to everywhere fun. Kim thought of everything from the little thoughtful toiletries, sweet smelling fresh cut lilacs, smelt heavenly! The decor was spot on if you needed anything, it was all right there!!

Adorable Artist Cottage

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here for two nights for a visit with our daughter in Doylestown. In the past we stayed in hotels. Our daughter found this gem and weā€™re so glad she did. The cottage is absolutely adorable! The cottage had extras you donā€™t find in hotels. The cottage had a small refrigerator, a microwave, a Keurig coffee maker (and K-cups) and a toaster! She supplied full sized shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The owner, Kim was very helpful and responsive. It is perfect for a couple or a single person. I would highly recommend it over a hotel stay. We will be back!

This was a perfect location to spend the day at peace valley park. The space was so clean and had everything we couldā€™ve needed. The property was quiet and check in process was easy. Weekend getaway in Doylestown

This charming cottage was perfect for my two night visit to Doylestown. Kim, the owner, was very easy to work and communicate with. The cottage itself was cozy and just as described in the listing. The bed was very comfortable and the bath towels were plush. The mini-kitchen had everything I needed and Kim was thoughtful enough to supply coffee and creamer, butter and bottled water. I loved the decor, with little bits of nature brought inside. I will definitely stay here again when I return to the area!

We love Doylestown, PA. Our lovely historic town is about 40 minutes north of Philadelphia. Plenty of farmland around yet all the conveniences of modern-day living.

This little cottage on our farm was an Artist Studio for many years and has only recently been converted for guests. It snuggles behind our Farmhouse and it's just the sweetest little space.

Please take note:

- Guest shall use the property for residential purposes only, not event hosting
- Animals/Pets are not permitted
- Minimum rental age 25 for HomeExchange guest
- Guest is liable for the actions of Guest and Guest invitees
- No smoking inside the house OR anywhere on our property
- No medical or recreational marijuana in any form is permitted on the property at any time
