The Captain's Bungalow is a single family home located on the secluded island of Little Gasparilla. The island is situated in southwest Florida on the Gulf of Mexico, just north of world famous Boca Grande. LGI (Little Gasparilla Island) is away from it all with access only by boat and no paved roads. Getting around the island is easy by walking on the sand paths or traveling on a golf cart. Wildlife is abundant on and around the island with Gopher tortoises, Bald Eagles, Osprey, Sea turtles, Dolphins, Manatees and numerous salt water fish including Redfish, Tarpon, Trout, Flounder and much more. Whether it's sitting on the dock soaking up the sunshine or fishing for your prize catch of the day, the list is endless with the possibilities. The white sandy beach with the azure blue Gulf of Mexico awaits your beach chair. Imaging the tranquility of the beach with very few visitors. Seven miles of beach access are at your disposal.

Our home features three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a large kitchen/ living great-room. The kitchen comes fully equipped for your culinary needs. The screen porch is an excellent place to read or just relax on the porch swing. If hammocks are more your style the covered area under the house is perfect for you. A gas grill is provided for you to prepare your catch of the day or a delicious steak.


Two bedrooms upstairs feature queen beds with adjustable mattresses. Our downstairs bedroom has a queen bed and full bathroom. If you must do laundry, we have our own washer and dryer. There is plenty of room to store your catch of the day or extra ice in our downstairs refrigerator/ freezer.

The large yard is quite unique for the island. There is plenty of space for relaxing on the lawn to play corn hole, croquet or boci ball. We even have a fire pit for evening bonfires and smores creations.
