To clarify for future guests, the situation with the prior long-term renters was discovered the same day as her arrival. Our team immediately stepped in and completed multiple repairs before her check-in, but given the timing, we simply did not have enough hours in the day to address every minor cosmetic item before her arrival. It’s important to note that all remaining items such as paint touch-ups, backyard covering, and the laundry door were fully repaired immediately after her departure. Since then, we’ve hosted multiple guests who have all left 5-star reviews, with no similar concerns. Regarding the refund request, both we and Vrbo reviewed the situation and determined that the minor cosmetic items mentioned (such as small paint scuffs and general wear) did not warrant a refund. While we understand Michelle felt differently, this has not been the experience or expectation of other guests. We pride ourselves on transparency, quick response times, and maintaining a high-quality property, and we appreciate future guests taking into account our consistent track record of positive reviews.
