Monthly 5 star OKC / Nichols Hills Home

This is a beautiful house owned by an OKC couple who wants you to feel at home when you stay in OKC. The house has been furnished with all new furniture, mattresses, bedding, etc. You truly won't be disappointed. Great for a getaway with family/friends, business travelers, remodelers in the area, or any extended stay when you want to feel at home. The only home located IN OKC'S oldest and most prominent neighborhood with beautiful parks and Starbucks within walking distance. It is close to OKC's high end outdoor mall Classen Curve, Whole Foods, Chesapeake Energy, some of OKC's best local restaurants, bars and galleries and Penn Square Mall.

Each bedroom has a brand new king size bed and bedding along with a queen air mattress that can fit in each room or within the the living area that is perfect for an overflow of guests or kids. Fresh sheets and towel are provided.

There's a fully functioning, top notch kitchen with everything you would need to cook up a feast. We love to cook so there are plenty of amenities to choose from in the kitchen for you to enjoy. The backyard and patio are huge with a large fence for pets or you to enjoy.

2 bathrooms, each with 2 sinks. One with a shower and the other with a tub.

Beautiful home and located close to many attractions and restaurants, The neighborhood was upscale! The home was spacious and the kitchen was perfect for 2 cooks working together! Would highly recommend this home to anyone as a getaway in OK City!

Not Horrible! Not Great!

To begin, Natalie was very quick to respond to all of the questions we had before leaving for our girls trip! Check in was a breeze, and we were very pleased with the location of the home. The house is older and has been renovated. Here are a few observations/suggestions that would have made our stay much better. The door knob on the toilet room in the master bath fell off every time it was touched, and the master bedroom mattress is held up by very thin boards. In the middle of the night, the boards on my side of the bed fell leaving the mattress sliding and tilting to the right. The bedding in the guest room was stained with what we guessed to be orange rust. Whoever cleaned the house before we got there left wet towels and rags in the washing machine that had a terrible smell. We ran them through another wash cycle but it didn’t help much. We enjoyed having 2 bathrooms, but the bath towels were all mismatched and stained, but not that big of a deal, just not what we are accustomed to with VRBO. At first glance, the off white decor/furniture was lovely, but while sitting in the living room the first night, we noticed that the couch, pillows, and rug were very stained. Thanks to several windows across the back of the home, the eating area and living room are very well lit, but no option for closing them at night. The home sits on the corner of a very busy street, and while there is a privacy fence across the backyard, we would have felt more comfortable if we could have closed blinds/curtains once it was dark outside. Our daughters wanted to make smoothies for breakfast, and while the kitchen was very nice, we couldn’t find a blender, so that would be a nice addition. We noticed quite a few ants on the front porch but nothing a little spray wouldn’t take care of this time of year. The chandelier over the dining table was very cute/shabby chic but the clear glass reveals several dead bugs trapped inside. We didn’t contact Natalie during our stay because it was such a short trip, and we weren’t at the house for very long. Everything mentioned was relatively minor but combined to equal a less than satisfied experience. Again, not a horrible experience, but considering the wonderful experiences we’ve had in the past with VRBO, we expected more.

Fantastic home. Great location.

We were in town for our son’s regatta. This home was conveniently located to the Boathouse district and Bricktown. The home is beautiful and has recently been fully remodeled. Bed was very comfortable and the home was spotlessly clean. We will definitely book this home again for the next three regattas! Natalie was very responsive and easy to work with.

Great Place

This was the perfect place for a girls getaway. Fantastic location close to shopping, restaurants, etc. Also convenient to downtown. Very clean and comfortable but could use some new dining room chairs. Would stay here again for sure.

Great Vacation Home

This was a great vacation home. It had all the necessary accommodation we needed for the time we were in Oklahoma. Along with the home being great, it was in a nice quiet neighborhood and close to downtown Oklahoma and places to eat. Would definitely recommend this home if you are in the Oklahoma City area.

Great House for family

We had to move out of our house for home repairs and it was wonderful to be able to stay in a home close by. It was very clean and well stocked and we loved being able to have our dogs stay with us rather than having to board them. Will definitely have my family stay when they come to visit in OKC!

Highly recommend!

Beautiful home near everything we wanted to do. Great shopping and amenities nearby. Easy access to museums, restaurants, downtown, and arena. Clean, nicely appointed home made our trip very comfortable. Would stay here again and would recommend to others.

Perfect Accomodations - Great location

We were in OKC for a wedding with family in Edmond and Nichols Hills so this location was perfect for us. Restaurants and grocery stores and even a dry cleaners close by. Very well appointed home with just the right furnishings, large bedrooms and bathrooms. Great kitchen and dining and TV lounging all in the main open area. We enjoyed morning walks in the beautiful neighborhoods and nearby parks with paved pathways. Thank you for opening your home to us and we will definitely return on a future trip to see family and friends.

Great Location in OKC

This home is a great place to stay in OKC. It is close to restaurants, shopping and all local attractions. The neighborhood is quiet as well. The furnishing are well done and the beds are comfortable. I would highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

Such a beautiful home, great location and nice neighborhood. Close to shopping and places to eat. Home was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped to have a few meals at home. The beds were very comfortable too. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect home for our business-related stay in OKC!

After spending 6 nights in a lovely hotel in Bricktown, it was time for a change. We found this home on HomeAway and will probably never stay in a hotel again. The house is located in a great neighborhood close to shopping malls, great restaurants, Whole Foods, Hefner Lake, and only minutes from the expressways which were super easy to navigate around town. Clean, light, airy and beautifully furnished. Comfortable king-sized beds. Fenced in back yard with privacy fencing. Loved the laundry room as well - another advantage of home vs. hotel. Owners were responsive and accommodating! Will definitely book this home again when we travel back to OKC.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Beautiful, well-appointed home. Very spacious, even with five adults staying there we had plenty of room. The beds were great, we had everything we needed and the owner was very easy to work with. Our stay could not have been any better!!
