We loved the cabin. But the king beds all had dips are big lunmps in them and was noisy when moving

The photos for the property don’t do it justice. It’s really spacious and close to everything to do in town. Past reviews mentioned things about the mattresses but they were all comfortable to us. The bedrooms are large and there are multiple dining areas with a huge covered porch outside. We loved the space and my kids are already talking about coming back again.One note, make sure you follow the directions to the cabin once you turn off the man road on the check in instructions because GoogleMaps will not get you there.

The HVAC was out when we arrived, but they quickly sent someone out to fix it. The hot tub never got even a little warm. The tv only has dish satellite - it’s not a smart tv so no option for Netflix or Hulu. But the house was excellent for the size.

Overall it was pretty good

This is a wonderful place, I like it, and everything was fine, only I suggest adding this place to Google Maps for a better route, it's a bit tricky to find it. It's a bit cold in bedrooms in winter, it's ok, but I would say that will be good to leave additional blankets in bedrooms for the winter season. The host always answers if you need something you can always write or call

Needs a couple updates

Overall great stay- spacious, easy to get in and out, loved the lot. Needs a couple things updated though: Third floor king mattress is broken- giant human shaped dent on the right side that is about 6inches deeper than the rest of the mattress. Needs to be replaced. One of the twin beds has a missing/broken leg that has been replaced by an undersized and unsteady rock. That needs to be fixed appropriately for any less than careful kid to comfortably use that bed.

Questionable

The cabin was nice however it does have issues apparently no one has addressed: got there hot water was frozen downstairs it did thaw out the next day.The washer knob was messed up you had to work with to get turned on. The heat well it worked in living room and third floor loft but all bedrooms were freezing.If they did have cleaned they need new cleaners cobwebs all over the windows the lights….

Filthy and multiple items not working

Huge spiders and centipedes Wine opener and can opener not working 3rd floor toilet runs, have to jiggle handle,toilet seat broke 2nd floor bedroom, ceiling fan so loose going to fall out of ceiling Cob webs all over, very dusty 2nd floor bathroom shower curtain has mold Twin bed 3rd floor broke Balcony construction, not told about Very disappointed Will be calling regarding concerns

Had a last minute problem with our cabin. They upgraded us to even nicer accommodations. This group is first class all the way!!

Good size needs some work

This property was a great space for a family of 10 with 7 adults and 3 kids. Lots of room to move around and cook plus everyone had their own bed. It does need some work as there were broken bean bags, kitchen tools, and a washer you have to rig to use. It could also use a good deep cleaning. Overall it was a good spot with a nice and quiet location.

Great time

Our large family had a great time and enjoyed this cabin overall! We loved that it was pet friendly and our furry boy could go with us. I will warn others that the road to get there was very rough and I wouldn’t recommend going without a SUV. The cabin is really nice and the area around it is great with woods, a creek and great patio with a fireplace. . I would say that there are some small details that could make the cabin a true 5 star retreat. It could use a few small things like paper towels, kitchen towels, hand soap, a can opener and more blankets. Our trip was still wonderful but these things could have made it even better. I would also recommend some furniture on the landing with the tv. Thanks for our great family weekend!

Great family place!

This house was perfect for our 3 families celebrating a 50th Anniversary. The layout and king sized bedrooms were a great fit for us. The back patio was a favorite spot as we had a lot of rain and the hot tub being steps away was an easy walk for my Mom who has a cane. Overall, it’s a beautiful house with fun decor and everything you need. Great location and highly recommend!

Great place

We loved this house! Plenty of room for grandparents and 3 families with kids. 4 bedrooms with king beds. 2 of the rooms share one bathroom and the others each have their own bathroom. The only downfall to this cabin is the road getting there was terribly rough. No maintenance at all.

Good but beware

The cabin was very nice and the outdoor patio was a nice touch to hangout and enjoy conversation. Inside cabin was nicely clean. Outdoor patios could have been cleaned better there were pretty big spider webs we had to knock down right at the door to the big patio and second floor bedroom patio. Also, Beware the road to get there from the moment you enter off 259 is all gravel full of big potholes. Not really suited for a car definitely better to drive a 4x4 truck or similar high sitting vehicle.

The Oz House

We enjoyed our stay at "The Oz House" very much. Although the roads leading to it are quite an adventure. Once you get there, it's worth the bumpy ride. We had 11 family members, plenty of room......on the third floor, instead of 5 wall twin beds (as shown on listing) there are only four regular ones. It suited our family just fine. Over all, we had a great experience!

Secluded gem

Beautifully secluded cabin with awesome outdoor layout and spacious porch. Plenty of room for everyone to get spread out and enjoy the outdoors. Perfect for everyone who’s with you.

Great Cabin and location

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin, we decided to come stay for my father’s birthday we had a wonderful time with our family here. We got to enjoy much needed quality time together and it was perfect for everyone, the kids had a wonderful time and it was perfect the way the twin beds are set up on the third floor they enjoyed that very much and they all got their own bed so that was a plus! We spent a lot of time on the outdoor patio and even though it was raining most of the time we were there it didn’t matter the patio setting is perfect and we enjoyed the outdoor fireplace a lot! We will definitely be returning to this cabin! Oh and the little creek that goes near by was the kids favorite place to “explore” we all had a great time here!

Fabulous Cabin

We absolutely loved this cabin! There was plenty of room to gather when we wanted to, and plenty of space to spread apart when we wanted to! We are already planning our next visit!

Long weekend getaway

Our family of 12 stayed here for 4 nights with adults age 20-60 and kids age 2-10. To get the negatives out of the way- the photos and property description need to be updated. The house only sleeps 12 as there are 4 twin beds in the loft, not 5. The seating for the kitchen is very limited as the bar stools and 4 person table in the photos are not in the cabin. The large dining table in the cabin is different than the one in the photos- it has bench seats and its maximum seating is comfortably 6 people. One of the end chairs was broken and we had to bring in a chair from the patio. There was a small problem with the sliding back doors upon our arrival but after we called to report it, maintenance was out quickly to repair it and we had no other issues all weekend. The cabin was wonderful. It was clean and very spacious. The large covered patio was a big hangout spot for us. The hot tub was clean and in perfect working order. The town was busy and pretty crowded but the cabin and neighborhood are quiet.

Awesome weekend a definite repeat.

I had an awesome weekend ,the Cabin (OZ)was as described plus more all you need is your personal items and food,plenty of towels they provided beach towels, also outdoor and indoor fireplaces ,hot tub was clean had a game room area , you can have large groups here no noise at all the house was super quiet with plenty of areas to sit ,sleep and just relax. Make sure you visit the local areas everyone is Super friendly visit the Tiki tour place the pple we met there were super nice. Also make copies or screen shot directions as instructed due to poor phone service other than that it was great like I said a definite repeat.

The cabin worked perfectly for our family of 11. Unlike the places we have stayed the last two (2) years, the air conditioner worked very well and we had hot water all weekend. Thank you!

Great visit!

First time to visit the area and we absolutely loved it. The cabin was wonderful with plenty of space for our family. Great covered back porch area that looks directly into the national forest. Gas fireplace outside is a nice touch. Cleaning service missed some things prior to arrival and some of the furniture, carpet, and appliances are beginning to show their age. None of this would keep us from coming back. We absolutely loved our trip and our stay at the Oz Cabin.

Perfect for our family!

We booked a last minute trip for our large family to get away from the city. Really enjoyed the size of the house, the hot tub, and the wooded location. Definitely recommend!
