Two bedroom beach cottage located at Pine Point Beach in Scarborough. This extensive beach community is perfect destination for a family vacation and getaway. Relax in the peaceful backyard or porch with beautiful views overlooking the salt-water marsh. Located one block from public beach access.

The cottage gives you access to multiple restaurants and activities within walking distance. You can fish off the jetty with bait/tackle shops located on the street. Local restaurants include: Salty Bay, Bayley's Lobster Pound, The Clam Bake, Mister Bagel, Salty Bay, and Ken's Seafood. Rent kayaks or stand up paddle boards to explore the area from the sea. The excitement of Old Orchard Beach is about 2 miles away with the boardwalk, shopping, bars, restaurants, arcades, the Pier, games, and amusement park.

The historic downtown city of Portland, ME is also located within driving distance. Seaside cobblestone streets are lined with shops, boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, and art galleries. Boating tours take place daily. Take a short ferry ride to one of Maine's Islands or go aboard a lobstering boat and catch your very own lobster.

The cottage includes basic cable, internet, heat, water, electricity, washer and dryer, basic kitchen, 1 bathroom, bath linens, bedding, and back/front porch. There is one wall AC unit in the Kitchen and a fan in each of the bedrooms.

Sleeping arrangements:
1 bedroom: Queen size bed
2nd bedroom: 1 twin bed, 1 twin trundle bed
Living room: Full-size pull out couch

The BEACH! Need I say more? You will receive detailed check in/out information along with house information after booking. Feel free to ask any questions in the meantime.

Interaction with Guests

I am available 24/7 to speak to guests. You can call/text/email me at anytime. If I am not available during your stay I will notify you and my property manager will be available.

Other Things to Note

There is a 1 week minimum for summer booking checking in and out on Saturday. Check in is at 3pm and out is at 10am.

We loved our stay in this cottage! It was the perfect size for my family of 3 and would be plenty big for an additional kiddo since the second bedroom has 2 twins. We loved waking up naturally with the light of the sunrise and nothing beats an easy walk to the beach. We were not sure how walkable it was going to be to the beach but it’s literally a 2 minute walk with plenty of sidewalk. We liked being close to old orchard if we wanted to go to the boardwalk but so thankful we were in a quiet area away from the noise. The laundry in the basement was so handy. We also enjoyed the covered back patio for dinner facing the marsh. Only thing we longed for was a hose to wash sand off our feet out front but we made due with a towel. Overall, highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a quiet beach town stay that’s close driving distance to excellent restaurants in Portland and the other small towns nearby.

This was the fifth year in a row that my wife and I have stayed at 10 Jones Creek Drive in Pine Point and we continue to love it. The house is perfect for a couple, and is also set up with a second bedroom that could easily accommodate one or two children, another single adult or even another couple if you are willing to be cozy. The bathroom has ample towels and other supplies, but it might be tight for 4 adults to share. We found the house as clean and well set up as always. Clearly Lauren makes sure to update little things from year to year, like new cookware or bedding, making our stay feel fresh and comfortable. The location continues to be a highlight of this little house, and we love being able to scoot back and forth to the beach all day long as needed. The screened in back porch is the other highlight - great for breakfast and watching the day wake up over the marsh. The owner/caretakers are very easy to reach though that is rarely needed. This house is a gem and we love how easy it is to settle in for our summer week at Pine Point. We'll be back!!!!

This was our 4th consecutive summer staying at this property. We keep coming back because it fits our needs perfectly. The cottage has all the amenities that we would want, is so well located, and always clean and tidy and functional. The owner communicates very well and in a timely manner.It's become our home-away-from-home and we hope to enjoy a fifth stay soon!

Perfect Place!

This cottage was the perfect place for our Pine Point vacation! It was immaculate, better provisioned than my own home with everything you can think of from night lights to paper towels! And the beds were extremely comfortable. The location was great—just a short walk to the beach and a quick drive to the main road. Can’t wait to go back next year!

Relaxing, fun spot....

This was our second stay in consecutive summers at Lauren's beach cottage. We loved our time there very much. The cottage has an excellent location and proximity to the beach; it was quiet, clean and neat. Everything was functional with lots of well-thought and appreciated amenities. We hope to return again!

Fantastic Property

The cottage is excellent for a family of 4. Everything is exactly as advertised. This was our first time in Pine Point and we really enjoyed it. It's near everything but much quieter than the Old Orchard area. There are a couple of restaurants that are a 1 minute walk away which is nice when you are not in the mood to go out. The beach is also a couple minutes walk away and was clean and not overcrowded. This is definitely a great cottage in a great location.

Perfect Comfy Beach Cottage

This was our second time here so we knew how wonderful the cottage is! Lovely as ever, the cottage has everything you need for a perfect stay. The front porch and the sunroom on the back are fantastic to have and really added to the overall ease and enjoyment of our stay. Clean, cozy and well appointed we had a fabulous time. The beach is so close (a few minutes walk) and the view of the marsh is fantastic - a fabulous cottage for a fabulous vacation. Hoping to return next year!!

Perfect for us

This wonderful cottage was perfect for my husband and two grown children. Plenty of room. Kitchen was well appointed. Beds very comfortable. Cottage was very clean. Location is great a block or so from the beach. The view of the marsh in back was lovely when relaxing in the back porch. Jane was very responsive to any inquiries. We had a great time despite a hurricane threat and having such a comfortable place helped immensely.

Fantastic Home Away from Home!

We loved this cottage. The layout of the rooms make it feel bigger than it is, and Lauren has done a great job updating the interior design to feel modern, spacious, and extremely easy to settle into. It is very clean and neat and comes with nice amenities including a dishwasher! The kitchen and bathroom supplies are ample with no need to bring anything from home except a beach towel. There are two porches, one in front which makes for lovely entry with ample space for outdoor gear, and a screened in porch in the back that has a great view of the marsh and is set up for porch dining in the fresh air protected from insects. Hard as it was to tear away from such a great breakfast spot, the beautiful beach is just one block from the cottage - close enough to run back and forth as needed throughout the day, with access to a very quiet part of the beach away from the public beach crowds. Thank you to Lauren, and Jane and her crew for offering such a welcoming and comfortable beach retreat. We will definitely return to this cottage!!!

Pristine Beach House

I am still smiling over the exceptionally tidy beach house we recently enjoyed for a week. The location was as described, convenient to beach, food and shopping. I recommend this home, because it was like being at home.

Perfect Pine Point Cottage!

What a wonderful time we had! The cottage was clean, tidy and cozy. Incredibly well equipped - we had everything we needed. Super easy and quick walk to the beach and restaurants. The front and back porches were great to have. Check in and check out process and communication overall was great. Could not have been happier!

Very nice place

Everything we needed was there. Living room and bedrooms are decorated with good taste, beds were very comfy. The backyard offers a million dollar view on the marshes , you will have to sit outside to enjoy the view as the window in the kitchen facing the marches is pretty small. If you are a bird lover it’s a nice place to see glossy ibis and the great white egrets. About 20 steps to the beautiful beach and to great seafood restaurants. Neighbours were very nice and friendly as well.

Another great stay

This was our second visit and everything was great (again). The cottage is compact and well equipped. Very comfortable. I love the backyard and screened porch which is great to have a drink in the evening and watch the birds in the marsh. We will definitely be back again next year!

Hello, I am Lauren. I reside in Philadelphia, but have a strong love for my home state of Maine. I enjoy spending time between Maine beaches, Sugarloaf Mountain, and my home. I keep active by exploring the city, hiking, skiing, boating, going to the beach, and traveling.

I’ve been a vacation rental owner since 2011 and currently have two rental properties. The first being at Pine Point Beach in Scarborough, Maine. A cozy coastal community with beach access, delicious restaurants, and fun activities for all ages. The second property is a ski in/out condo at Sugarloaf Mountain in Carrabassett Valley, Maine with gorgeous views of the mountain and fun filled year-round activities. It's perfect for a ski getaway in the winter or hiking/golfing/lake in the summer.

Myself along with my Property Manager, Jane (Mom), strive to make these properties your home away from home. We promise to provide an immaculately clean rental with a welcoming feel.
