A matter of Convenience

The house was a great stay, room to move around and lounge in our off-time while we were attending a conference in Salem. Great accommodations. Great location.

Great stay in Salem

Great space and layout for our family of four, the teens loved the space upstairs. Communication was prompt and friendly, check in and check out were seamless. We will definitely keep this property in mind for our next trip to the Salem area!

Quick business trip

Great place to stay in a nice quiet neighborhood. Easy to get downtown and the fairgrounds. There are also several neighborhood businesses that are easy to walk to. I especially enjoyed the friendly neighbors.

Home Away From Home

Diana was amazing with her communication, we stayed on a snowy weekend in Oregon , and they even plowed the driveway and the walk way as best as they could. The house is very big and spacious and very clean and well kept. I would defiantly stay here again.

Old Charm

Centrally located for a lot of things in Salem. Updated house but still kept the original charm. The house was very spacious for our three kids and three adults.

Quiet, cozy, home away from home.

This is actually the second stay my family has had at this location, my daughter used it for her bachelorette party and we just stayed for the wedding, the communication with the property owner was phenomenal, even when the website scared me with rebooking emails from my first attempted reservation (that was a horror story in its self) which made our stay here that much more enjoyable. The house was clean, towels and face cloths in each room. If the property manager is reading this, thank you again for all of your hospitality!!!!

Great location nice house.

One night to meet up with family to celebrate late Christmas. We liked the house as it suited our needs for the night. Cute older home that had some recent renovations. Neighborhood felt safe and a lot of restaurants close by. Host quickly responded to any questions.

Cute, cozy, clean, and comfortable

We had a great stay over Xmas! Diana’s home was perfect . Good sized bedrooms, deep old school bathtub, large dining room table that expands, desks in each of the 4 bedrooms, a huge tv with all the channels in the living, great kitchen for home cooking… and as advertised centrally located and walking distance to convenience stores, the State capital, a Safeway, and great restaurants like Word of Mouth.5/5 highly recommended and will stay again!

Great stay with “old house” problems

Overall we had a great stay and would stay here again. The property manager was great and easy to get a hold of when we had trouble getting in (just some minor technical difficulties that were easily sorted out). The house was very clean, although we found the basement quite dirty. We also had some problems with hardware such as doorknobs getting stuck or falling off all together, but really it didn’t affect our stay much.

It was fine, despite the heat set to 65, poor communication beforehand, and no instructions for checkout. But other than that it was fine.

Great house and quiet neighborhood

This was a great house and location. Our only issue were ants in the house, which the host was unaware of. She was going to address it after we left.The host was easy to communicate with until I sent my check out information. I have not heard back from her.

Good size and space for a family, quaint neighborhood

Did not prepare the space well, floors were not very clean, no kitchen towels or hand towels, minimal dishes and pans for cooking, cleaning fee seemed way high, double the cost of the room. Ants in living room, someone had left trash on the porch. Host was very kind, but needs more dd detailed preparation.

This home is charming and centrally located. Spacious gathering spaces. Lovely for pictures. Pricing was very reasonable. Although some locals told us it was not in a safe area, we did not have any problems. Our biggest major issue with the house is that the kitchen is not set up for people who like to cook. There were only five plates in a home that supposedly is for eight people. There was not a full set of measuring cups, measuring spoons, or kitchen knives. Two of the skillets had been burned so badly that the finish looked unsafe for cooking. No spices. Only salt and pepper. New and spacious refrigerator. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in the kitchen. Some of the silverware and dishes had to be cleaned before we could use it. Older renters may find themselves uncomfortable going up and downstairs. The mattresses were newer but inexpensive and on metal frames with round bars for slats. No box springs. Not very comfortable sleeping for older adults, but the kids did not complain. Every bedroom has a TV. Upstairs fire alarm goes off whenever the upstairs shower is used.
