The condo we rented was accurately listed on the website and clean. It looked like the pictures. The location is just perfect and we loved the proximity of the condo to the gondola and restaurants. The main building really needs some attention and updating. The location of these condos is just too ideal to let this property go without general updating aned maintenance.

Overall our experience wasn’t awful. The rental is in pretty rough shape, from the bathrooms/showers, to the flooring and just overall condition. The photos make it seem a bit nicer than it is, ESPECIALLY for how the price compares to other rentals. Our friends paid a lot less and stayed in nicer spots in the same building. Check in was frustrating to have to go to an office to pick up the keys and fob as well as drop off at the end. Our friends in two other units didn’t have to do this so it doesn’t seem necessary for the building. The free shuttle was a huge perk though, so that’s why I’m giving 3/5 instead of 2/5. Location was great, but be prepared for a good amount of stairs if you have a lot of luggage like we did with our kids.

We do want to clarify a few points for future guests. Our listing clearly states that check-in is off-site, as this building requires key fob access for entry, and the garage also requires an RFID card. Because of these access controls, keys and fobs must be picked up and returned through our office. We’d also be interested to know how your friends accessed the building and garage without a fob or RFID card, as that is not the standard access method for this property.
Regarding the condition of the unit, we understand that décor, finishes, and layout may not meet every guest’s expectations, especially when comparing different units within the same building. Each unit is individually owned and maintained, which can result in variations in updates and pricing. That said, we do appreciate your comments about the condition and photos, and we’ll be sure to share your feedback with the homeowner.
