The Terrace is located in the historic residential area just 2 and a half short blocks from The Historic Downtown Courthouse Square & Whiskey Row on Union Street. Enjoy your favorite beverage on The Terrace patio during the spring and summer month, while grilling your favorite steak or fish on the patio barbecue. The Terrace is one level upstairs.
There is a tremendous array of activities at The Square, and you are literally only a short 3 to 5 minute walk to The Square and the famous Whiskey Row. Also review The Townhouse, Vrbo # 1012557, which is 2 bedrooms and one and a half baths also 2 and a half short blocks to The Square.

The Terrace was professionally decorated with a French theme of light blue and pastels in mind. When you arrive and walk-out onto The Terrace deck and view Thumb Butte Mountain, immediately all of your stress melts away!

The outside Terrace deck is quaint and a fabulous place to relax, grill and/or sit and have a glass of wine or favorite beverage after finishing your full day of activities in the downtown Prescott historic square or local hikes! Just sit and watch your neighbors stroll the sidewalks of the historic residential area which The Terrace is nestled in.

The Terrace is approximately 1,150 square feet with two bedrooms (king size bed in the master bedroom and double bed in the second bedroom), one full bath/shower, large completely stocked kitchen including Keurig coffee machine (cook your Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter dinner), nook eating area and living room with new 55' flat screen smart Samsung TV, HD Dish TV including streaming of Netflix and Prime Video, since we have high speed WIFI access. The Terrace can easily accommodate two couples or a family of five. Also remember we are pet friendly, so bring the pooch!

I loved this place!

Very clean!! Cozy and felt rite at home. Close to downtown but yet very quite. The owner was helpful about where to hike and eat. Kichen was well equipped. I will stay here again for sure. It beats any hotel out there!

This little vacation rental is without a doubt the nicest experience we have ever had. The location is perfect — a 5 minute walk from downtown Prescott. The appointments in the unit are classic — a decorator's delight — which always mean so much to me. The kitchen is a dream including a view of the neighborhood, and a coffee / microwave bar. The beds are very comfortable, and the bathroom is well-stocked with designer towels and shower supplies. Everything was as outlined in the post. We did not have any trouble with the steps up to The Terrace or the steep inclines on the walk to/from downtown, but if you have a mobility issue, you might want to choose The Townhome, or The Cottage in the same building. The whole house is delightful. We will be back for sure, again and again. And…. I can’t say enough good things about the town of Prescott !!!

Loved THE TERRACE in Prescott

It was the perfect place. Very homey. Loved the kitchen windows and balcony. Beds were super comfy. The Terrace had "everything" you could need. Home away from home. I stayed for 30 days and loved it. Couldn't have asked for a better place!!

Great location - comfy cozy accommodations!

Came into town for a soccer tournament. The house was super cute, clean and comfy. Had everything we needed to cook and be comfortable for the weekend. It's an easy walk to all the downtown shop and restaurants and you can see Bosa Donuts from the balcony - bonus! I would stay here again. Larry was very communicative and caring during our stay.

Sweet apartment

We had a great stay! Super clean, well-stocked, quiet, and comfy. We enjoyed coffee on the deck, and BoSa donut shop across the street. Easy check-in, responsive host. Only complaints would be a squeaky bathroom door (only seems loud in the middle of the night), and the master ceiling fan starts knocking after it's been on for a while. Turning the speed down helped. Otherwise, perfect!

Comfortable and Good Location

Very nice stay. Very comfortable and relaxing but two concerns. the stairs are difficult, especially for older people. Wife slipped going down because stair end cap too slick. The frig takes too long to cool so had to fill coolers with ice for first couple days.

Nice property with a perfect location

Our stay was pleasant and convenient and the location can’t be beat in terms of it being walking distance to town and access to shops and restaurants. Easy parking, great host communication. Not for people with mobility issues as it is up a flight of stairs. We enjoyed the little outdoor balcony.

Quiet spot minutes from Whiskey Row

This small apartment seems much bigger than it is due to the split floor plan. Master bed very comfortable. Smart TVs in bedroom and living room with Netflix and Prime Amazon. Minutes to walk to Whiskey Row. Kitchen had everything we needed. Comfortable, clean, with lots of natural light. We loved it!

Wonderful stay at Terrace in Prescott

Stayed at the Terrace while visiting Embry-Riddle University with my daughter. The location was perfect as it was a short drive to the school and we could take the quick walk downtown to restaurants and shops. Larry the owner was great and quickly helped out when I had forgotten my arrival check-in information. Would definitely stay at the Terrace again.

Weekend Getaway!

This was a great place for a quick weekend getaway. We drove up from Gilbert AZ to explore and found a gem!! This place is a skip and hop go to the downtown actions. The commutation and check in and out process was great! We enjoy the weekend and will be returning soon!

A great stay in Prescott

This property is a gem! It’s on a beautiful, tree lined street that is a short 6 minute walk to Whiskey Row. The space is plenty big for a couple or group of 4 and parking is available right out front. We we’re bringing dinner to a family members house for 25 people and, while we prepared everything ahead of time, the kitchen had everything we needed to finish the last parts of the meal. We only used the king bed but it was comfortable and the room was quiet and dark. There’s a great patio you can sit on an enjoy coffee or cocktails. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if we come back to Prescott

Cute place with a great location!

We decided at two days before the weekend to be spontaneous. We booked this cute place based on the reviews, amenities, and proximity to the downtown area. It really is about 1/4 from the downtown area. We would walk to the restaurants and bars and then walk back with no issues. I live in Arizona and have been to Prescott many times but have never been to this particular area, The townhouse is in the Historic District so there are so many really cute houses that are really old but have been completely renovated. This place was the same and did not disappoint. Really cute decorating with modern touches. Also, ample parking, which is unusual. I have stayed in many places where there is only one parking spot per housing unit and sometimes that spot is a very tight fit. Not here. The only thing that I would change is that there is only one TV which is in the living room. Since we were only there for the weekend it wasn't a big deal but if we were staying longer, i would have preferred a TV in the bedroom as well. This might be something that the owners will add in time. Also, the owner called my Saturday just to check to make sure everything was good. Good communication and easy check in. Will definitely stay here again for a weekend.

I moved to the Prescott area in 2007, so I consider myself a true Prescottonian and a qualified ambassador of Prescott (Preskitt). I am recently retired and living the good life. I have owned and operated The Terrace as a short-term rental since May 2012. The Terrace has accommodated renters for stays as short as two nights to as long as 7 months, when the renters were moving to Prescott and staying at The Terrace while their new home was being built.

I got into the renting of Vrbo properties in 2011, when my first property was only the 50th listing in Prescott, where in today's world there is over 350 listings. Since I travel a lot myself due to my job, I too have used Vrbo extensively. I look for clean, well-managed properties that are close to local activities with a homey feel, as opposed to the clinical feel of a hotel chain. I strive to run and present a Vrbo experience that is consistent with what I would be looking for.

I purchased this property due to its fantastic location to the downtown historic courthouse square and its appeal and feel as a historic home. The property has dedicated concrete paved parking perpendicular to the street, in the front of The Terrace, which is very unique for downtown, and the street appeal is outstanding. The Terrace patio provides a great venue for relaxing while sipping your favorite beverage.
The property sits in the historic residential neighborhood, so although it is close to downtown it is quiet.
I measure my success as the result of the significant number of repeat customers has generated, and the lasting friendships that I have made along the way with my renters.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The uniqueness of this property is the fact that it provides my renters a cozy, comfortable home away from their home, which is so close to all of the activities of the Historic downtown square yet nestled in a quiet well-kept neighborhood. The Terrace has also served as a temporary home for past renters, who are either giving Prescott a try for a future move or they have purchased a new home that has not yet completed the final construction.
