*2 SUPER SELECTOS ( large supermarkets) only a 5 minute drive into La Libertad. Great location if you need to make a quick run to the grocery supermarket.

*Local police station located about 7 houses down from house. Police also walk the beach/street day & night for added security to our beach.

*Local restaurants & small bars are located in walking distance to house. Also you can call, order, & have plates of food delivered to house at very reasonable prices of as low as $5 or $6. Breakfast is $3. All plates of food can be delivered to your door by phoning. I eat there a lot!. Also on Friday, Saturday, & Sunday you can just walk down the path a couple of minutes & pick up Pupusas. That is the traditional El Salvadorean food. She sells them 3 for a $1.50. Another place I also go to for food.

*DIRECT on Pacific Ocean with SPARKLING BEAUTIFUL POOL. Just steps away from Ocean. You will feel like you are on the ocean since it is right out your gate. INSIDE POOL has LARGE SEATING AREA & TABLE. Great for those sunny days.

* 3 BEDROOMS all with PRIVATE FULL BATHS & A/C. Two BEDROOMS HAVE TVS & SATELLITE. House Sleeps a total of 10 people.

4th full bathroom outside near the pool. This pool bathroom has toilet, sink & one inside shower & one outside on this bathroom. We also have another shower when you are coming in from the beach to clean off the sand.

*HUGE ALL GLASS LIVING AREA looking out to BEACH & OCEAN. in this room . This room has 1 large sectional sofa & 2 sofas with 4 recliners. Also has 2 tables, one seats 8 people & other seats 4. Also located right off the Kitchen & Bedrooms. This house was MADE FOR ENTERTAINING!

*LARGE INDOOR KITCHEN that has HUGE ISLAND SNACK BAR that SEATS 9. Has GREAT VIEWS of OCEAN. Also includes Fridge, freezer, 6 burner stove & oven, Microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster, pots & pans for cooking, utensils, plates, bowls. coffee cups, drinking glasses, baking pans. . Everything you need to cook and serve a meal.

*BRICK BBQ grill on LARGE OUTSIDE PATIO FACING BEACH. Patio has ONE METAL TABLE WITH 6 CHAIRS. ALSO 2 LARGE PICNIC TABLES THAT SEATS UP TO 12 PEOPLE. ONE SMALL PLASTIC SQUARE TABLE WITH 4 CHAIRS. Also 2 lounge chairs for sunning. All under a large tree with a bright mural wall.

* SOFT BED LINEN & LARGE TOWELS provided during stay. PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT provide small face towels or kitchen paper towels so please bring your own.

*We also have 1 free 5 gallon bottle of water with a dispenser. The next 5 gallons are $4 each delivered to you by caretakers when you ask them.

*MASTER BEDROOM has TV/Sat & 2 beds in it. One KING with MEMORY FOAM for added COMFORT & one DOUBLE bed .Has a GREAT VIEW of both BEACH & front patio w/ gardens.. ROOM includes FULL PRIVATE BATHROOM with HOT SHOWER. A/C & Ceiling fan. Has blackout curtains.

*2nd BEDROOM has TV & Sat plus QUEEN BED with MEMORY FOAM. This ROOM IS GLASSED IN on 2 sides to see GREAT VIEW of OCEAN. Also has FULL PRIVATE BATH with HOT SHOWER. A/C & Ceiling fan. This room does have blackout curtains but only on the wall facing the beach. The other glass wall facing inside the house/ living area has regular curtains. Still dark enough to sleep.

*3rd BEDROOM has 2 BEDS. 1 King, 1 double. This bedroom also has A FULL PRIVATE BATH. A/C & Ceiling fan. Sorry no hot shower in this bathroom or TV/Sat in this room. This room has blackout curtains in it.

*FRONT OF THE HOUSE is made of STONE and has LARGE COVERED PATIO. Plants surrounds the patio with my collection of ornamental frogs throughout the plants . Extra SPECIAL LIGHTING hanging along roof line on patio for those festive nights. This patio alone has 2 tables. One wooden dining table seats 6 people and other large wooden picnic table. Also has a wooden sofa & 4 more additional wooden chairs. All traditional Salvadorean furniture on this patio.. Driveway to the house is all made of stone too & can fit 3 cars. More parking space on street if needed.

*EXTRA OUTSIDE SHOWER when coming off beach into yard.

*Sliding doors and windows are ALL SCREENED IN for those perfect ocean breezes.

*During the 6 months of RAINY SEASON (May to October) we MOSTLY have SUNNY DAYS and if the rain arrives it is around 8 or 9pm at night. It rains for a little while and then stops. Not like San Salvador where they get more rain in the daytime. Sometimes it rain during the day at the end of Sept or November which is when we get the most rain in the year.

The book EXPLORER'S GUIDES, EL SALVADOR wrote that Playa San Diego was the MOST BEAUTIFUL BEACH in EL SALVADOR. I agree with them. . TOTALLY FLAT SAND w NO ROCKS.. Can walk for miles in either directions. Many other American, Canadians & Europeans have retired to this beach. I have lived on this beach for 8 years & have always felt SAFE to live & walk the beaches here.

* Also you can choose if you like to walk down the street to get an idea of life in El Salvador or just choose to relax behind the private walls. BEST OF BOTH WORLDS.

* In the morning cars & bikes are delivering fresh bread, produce, eggs, etc. Around 2 to 4 pm they are delivering sweet pastries to the locals on bikes. Woman walking the beaches selling local jewelry. Beer trucks go by delivering cases of beer or soda. Bikes selling ice cream throughout the day. Playa San Diego is the perfect place to experience El Salvador at it's finest.

*Location is great since it is only 5 minutes from everything you will need in La Libertad. The NEW BEACH WALK ALONG THE PACIFIC OCEAN has restaurants, tourist center, & large fishing pier to buy your fresh seafood. On Weekends this area comes alive with both the local & tourist that come to dance under the moonlight. Area has become very popular for both the locals & tourist. Police walk this area making sure it is safe for everyone. Across the street is the local market where you will find the locals selling anything you can imagine. Quite an experience for first timers visiting Central America. Also state park named Deininger Park is located about 5 minute drive from house.

When you arrive we do have one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. We also provide you with 5 large trash bags but you provide the rest during your stay. We provide linens for the beds & large towels. We do usually have filters for the coffee maker.
