Very enjoyable stay.

We were very happy with our stay. From the beginning and throughout our stay Barbara was easily contactable and helpful. The unit is spacious, well equipped and easily accessible to the tennis courts and swimming pools. We would not hesitate to recommend this property and hopefully will one day return.

Best rental property ever!

We have stayed in this unit on three separate occasions, and it is a delight, always. It is the best unit we have ever rented, anywhere. The owner is so nice, and great to work with. Thank you again, Barbara, for the lovely stay.

Winter getaway

Very clean property with plenty of room for all 4 adults. The property comes as advertised, close to hiking trails and a short drive to shopping, restaurants and also the zoo of the desert. There was a couple of issues that were beyond the control of the home owner but Barb was easy to get a hold of and responded very quickly, a pleasure to deal with.

Very Clean, Lovely Stay!

Barbara, the owner, was very responsive when a couple of minor issues came up. Note that the pools aren't heated until February (if this matters to you), but overall, a very well appointed condo!

A bit of paradise

We had a great six week stay at Barbara’s condo. The location is great! We loved the area near Shadow Mountain. The condo was well equipped and tastefully decorated. We were just a short walk to the swimming pool. Barbara was available to answer questions and help us out. She is a great host! We highly recommend her place.

Palm Springs Anniversary Trip

My husband and I rented Barbara's lovely townhome for the month of March, 2024. Everything was exactly as it was advertised - and more. Barbara was very accommodating with our request to arrive a little early. She reached out during our stay and before we left to make sure everything was ok. The townhome was very clean and updated and the location was perfect - just outside of the busy part of the city in a lovely residential area. Everything was just as we pictured it. Thanks so much Barbara!

We’ll be back!

We really enjoyed our time in Barbara’s condo! We’ve used VRBO many times and she is by far the best host! She even had a new vacuum delivered when we were having issues with the old one charging properly! Besides being in a great location the unit was clean and very well stocked. The beds were comfy and there were more than enough towels, dishes, cookware etc. The kids loved the heated pool and having the third bathroom was great when there was a house full. Thanks again Barbara! We hope to return!

New York to Palm Desert

Everything was absolutely wonderful within the condo. I could not have asked for more amenities to include the spices! Only one thing went wrong outside in the parking area. On two different occasions we came back to find an unknown car in our spot next to the condo. I did not know at the time that we had another space to use but my husband is physically challenged and that presented us with an issue for the driver of the unknown car. We took care of it but it was an issue! I would certainly recommend this lovely condo to anyone. It was delightful and peaceful.

Perfect for us!

The property was perfect for us, close to hiking, tennis courts, pool, zoo, and found time to golf as well. My husband and I had our son, daughter in law and 2 1/2 year old grandson join us for a week. The bedrooms being upstairs was perfect, as little one could go to bed while the adults could visit inside or out. Loved this property and definitely would return. Barb was wonderful, easy to contact and communicate with.

Home Away From Home

We loved staying here!! It had everything you could possibly want...even a Keurig coffeemaker and a DVR to record our favorite TV programs which were a nice surprise! The kitchen was fully stocked and we enjoyed grilling on the back patio. I can't say enough wonderful things about Barbara...she was very attentive and responsive and a pleasure to get to know. We left a few days early because of a death in the family and the coronavirus crisis, but hope to get back another time to enjoy this wonderful vacation rental.

Will stay again!

Barbara was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. The property presents as new. The kitchen is amazingly stocked! 2 Lovely outdoor areas to sit with great patio furniture. There were lots of small touches that made it very nice, like: a stapler, pens, tape, flashlights in every room, every dish and pan you could imagine, spices and more! Everyone in my group highly recommends this condo!

Comfortable great location

The owner Barbara was so very nice . The kitchen well stocked with supplies so check before going to the grocery. Location perfect beds comfy . The condo area quite .. pool heated . Some things needed cleaning they looked either soiled or just could be replaced. It felt like home however and yes I would stay again.

Awesome Condo!

We spent the month of January in Barbara's condo and we were pleasantly surprised how spacious the living room and bedrooms are. In our travels we have rented many condos and homes, this is by far the most well equipped kitchen. The beds are very comfortable as well. The area is quiet and has easy access to many sites the desert has to offer. We loved the Living Desert Zoo and the hike up " The Cross Trail", which is walking distance from this condo. El Paseo is nearby with a variety of great restaurants. Barbara was always just a phone call away and responded quickly and efficiently to our concerns. Do not hesitate to rent Barbara's condo.

Great vacation rental

We spent the month of January in this lovely condo. Barbara could not have been more helpful. She answered all of our questions immediately and offered great suggestions for what to do while staying there. The condo is beautifully decorated with a nicely equipped kitchen . The beds were very comfortable . There are orange, grapefruit, and lemon trees right outside of the condo. There are a number of pools to choose from in the development.You can do a leisurely walk through the development or hike mountain trails very close by. The shops and restaurants of El Paseo are right down the hill. We would definitely rent here again.

First class

We have been renting in Somerset for 25 years and by far this is one of the nicest units in the complex. The location is ideal as it is close to the main pool and there is a smaller pool just out side the door. The condo itself is decorated beautifully and well stocked with all you needs for a short or long term rental. It is clean and comfortable. The master bedroom has a great view of the mountains. We would definitely recommend this for a quick or long term getaway and would not hesitate to rent this again. Barbara the owner was a pleasure to work with.

perfect vacation home

We spend the month of Feb. in this beautiful and comfortable condo. We arrived to find cooking (food) essentials already stocked. Kitchen is a dream and had every cooking utensil and platter, dishes, glasses we could hope for. Bedding and linens were new and high quality. We were two of us with some guests and the condo accommodated the varying size groups easily. Weather was warm so we appreciated the cross ventilation. Neighbors were friendly and owner was a dream to work with. Highly recommend this condo. We wished we could have stayed longer to see the hummingbirds hatch in the nest next to the patio.

Awesome condo in exceptional location

What an outstanding condo. Everything was exactly as pictured and advertised. Clean, quiet, and great Palm Desert location. While it was only two of us that stayed on this visit, it is certainly stocked for 6 people to be comfortable at all times. The owner was excellent to deal with, and very organized with their communications. We can't honestly think of one thing that could have been improved.

Palm Desert Perfection

We have rented in Palm Desert many times and this has been one of the best places we stayed! The house is very well appointed and had everything we needed. It is as nice as it looks on line! The owner was wonderful to work with and was very accomodating. The furnishings were all comfortable and the master bed is a dream. We didn't want to leave!

Nicely appointed, well maintained, good neighbourhood.

We have tried other properties. Found this to be good value. Near the hiking hills and part of a nice non-gated neighbourhood for easy local walks. Quiet complex. Liked the pool and hot tub area. The condo is well laid out and includes all creature comforts, including a very comfortable bed in the master suite. A short drive to El Paseo and many good restaurants, plus ample shopping nearby. South Palm Desert is a perfect location.

Best ever rental!

My husband and I just spent a month in this wonderful condo. We have rented units all over the country for 20 years, and this is the best overall condo we have ever rented. Not only is it updated, clean, has high end amenities, easy access to everything, leaves nothing wanting, but the owner is so very nice. We hope to return next year. I have only the highest recommendation for this condo and the owner.

Just Like Home

We lived in the area for five years and were very familiar with the Sommerset properties. We would give this property a huge thumbs up. The listing description and the pictures are very accurate. The property is in excellent condition and the owner is very accomodating. The condo is very well appointed and there was no need to bring anything more than our clothes. The next time we visit Palm Desert this will be our property of choice.

Wonderful Condo

We could not have asked for a more well appointed and comfortable condo! Nice and quiet, great location so close to services, yet it felt serene. The beds are super comfy, and the kitchen is amply supplied. We were very much at home and would love to return one day. The owner is very agreeable and ready to make sure your stay is the best!

Great Vacation Townhouse in the Desert

Loved the location. Great floor plan. Thoughtfully appointed and tastefully decorated. Very up to date. Nice pools and tennis courts. It met all of our expectations and more. Yes, we want to stay next year but for longer.
