Extensive remodeling 2025 finally complete May 2025. Upgrades include Windows, floors, black out drapes, painting, kitchen cabinets, countertop, new bedding, electrical jacks, light fixtures pots pans and utensils

The Larsen House is perfectly located for guest that like everything surrounding them, beaches, kayak rental, marina, shops, dining, night life, concerts, groceries, bakeries, and all is in walking distance.

Golf Courses, Parks, Music Festivals, Outdoor Theater and so much more is a few minutes or short drive away.
We have central air conditioning and a new wall mounted 50' HDTV Directv and a BluRay Player!

New outdoor furniture and charcoal grill in a big back yard for your use as well a Big Fire Pit.

And to me, one of the most important parts of a vacation rental is cleanliness. Our home will go through a rigorous cleaning and fresh sheets put on all 3 beds prior every check-in. The upstairs is not advertised , it’s just empty space with an emergency 1/2 bath, it’s clean and useful. The Larsen House is a value at it’s very low nightly rate! We provide the linens and towels, pots, pans and dishes.

Great weekend stay

We rented this home with a large group of friends, many of whom stayed in one of the other Larsen properties next door. Excellent stay, clean, and bed was very comfortable.

Great little house!

This was a great little house for the three of us. It was set up well and is in the perfect location for walking to the shops, restaurants, brewery, marina, etc. in Egg Harbor. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great place

We had a total of 4 adults staying in the rental. Great place to stay walking distance from grocery stores that had great prices nothing over priced, harbor, brewery, distillery and other shops. Would stay here again if available.

Great location!

We had a great spot here for our 3 generation vacation! Nice spot for reading and playing games and setting down after shopping and listening to music. Door County is a beautiful place we will be returning to again!

Rustic place in a great location

The place was in an excellent location--easy to find and park and within walking distance of many local businesses and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and bedding was clean. It had more of a rustic, up-north cabin sort of feel. No frills, but it got the job done because we were only there really to sleep.

Great stay in egg harbor

This place was perfect for our family for a long weekend in door county. Walk to grocery, one barrel, and big easy for breakfast. If we were staying longing I wish it would have laundry. Other than that it had everything we needed and was a great location to visit family in southern door county and then visit a friend in Washington island. Would stay here again!

Glad to hear the first review about enjoying rocking on the porch. If you would of told me about the coffee maker, you would of had a new one immediately. What happens is well water will slow a coffee maker down over time. I ran vinegar though the pot after reading your review, runs great. Thank you Paul and Mert

Definitely a good place to stay

An affordable house within walking distance to the main part of Egg Harbor. The house is well maintained, easy to check in and provides all the basic necessities. We had an opportunity to meet Paul and hope he was as happy with us as we were with his home.

Extremely clean home in central but busy location

The host was extremely responsive and communicative and the house was super clean. However, the house is too small for five adults. And, it's a very old house. Floors all squeaked loudly, the oven was old and there was no microwave. The house was minimally supplied - no spices, no aluminum foil, small things like that. The home is walkable to area attractions (shopping, beach, etc.) but it was also on a VERY busy street. We heard traffic noise well into each night.

As a host we provide toilet paper, soap, paper towel, Kleenex, shampoo and body soap. I think the rest should be on your grocery list. Floors do not squeak that bad, but normal for hardwood floors. The house is old as advertised but like new after remodel from floors to windows to kitchen cabinets to dishes. We actually have guests in the reviews saying they thought it was quietconsidering the location. I see you have very high expectations, maybe look a little closer at other homes rather than Larsen’s low nightly rate. But you will pay a premium for tin foil. But if you need something just ask, there is a microwave and tinfoil on location.

Quaint house

It was in a good location and you could walk to shops and restaurants. Could use a deep cleaning. I would recommend it to any and everyone. Everything worked well.

Pumpkin Patch Getaway

Perfect location for exploring the entire peninsula, all the way to the tip. Great spot for the pumpkin patch, wineries, local shops and hiking. The house was a perfect size for the 4 of us, we each had our own room and a bathroom, we did have to purchase our own toilet paper as their was only one roll in the house between the two bathrooms. The fire pit in the back would have been perfect if the weather cooperates, I would 100% stay in this location again for our next trip!

Don’t overthink it

Quaint older house with an odd layout and squeaky floor but don’t overlook this place. Very clean and well kept and the location just can’t be beat. If you can walk 7/10 of a mile you can hit most everything thing Egg Harbor offers and some of the best places are only a few blocks away. Great stay and we will book again if we decide to stay in Egg Harbor again

I was born and raised in Baileys Harbor, resident of Door County since 1961. Graduated as an Electronics Technician in 1980. Popped right into the Television Business as an owner in 1981 out of Baileys Harbor. I bought this property in 2001 to relocate my business. The property ended up being larger than I knew as there was not a land survey done at time of purchase. One day in 2004 I was on a television service call and fell in love with my customer's home. My customer's home was a 1800 era log home and was beautiful. Long story short, I ended up buying a log home from him that was stacked in a pile in storage. Ultimately this is what put me into the vacation rental business. Starting with restoring history of an 1861 school called 'old school house #3' now called Larsen Log Cabin and is our other vacation rental, VRBO #427036. Our big log home is considered top of the line and this house is just a quaint, clean and affordable rental. So I hope you enjoy either of our places.

This property was for sale for a long time and belonged to my relatives. The price was right and I wanted to be part of the Village Egg Harbor, because it is such a beautiful Village. My Grandmother grew up in Egg Harbor across from the Shipwrecked Restaurant and Blacksmith Shop, now a clothing shop. Grandpa married Grandma and they started their first bar business in Fish Creek. Later they moved to Baileys Harbor and started another bar business called Paul and Viola's Glass Bar, now called the Cornerstone Pub. My Grandma's Sister owned and operated Lena's sip and chat in Egg Harbor, my Great Aunt and she was great. And my Uncle Kenny owned the Midtown Tap in Egg Harbor (now Mojo Rosas) and also ran his barber shop in the Bar. Well you could have a beer and get your hair cut at the same time.
