Much better than anticipated

Our stay was wonderful we had pretty much everything we needed for a week long stay. Cabin was clean and well stocked just add food and tired deer hunters . Plan to come back if they'll have us.

Fantastic facility with everything we needed for a comfortable stay while hunting our property near by. Thank you for a great stay . Hopefully we'll you next year.

Ideal Get away. We'll be back!

Much more spacious than it looks from the outside, this place was built ideally for the purpose of getting away. Surrounded by trails and beautiful scenery, yet you can get to restaurants and Chillicothe in 20 minutes or so. The hosts were also great. They communicated very clearly and were available to answer questions quickly.

We enjoyed our time in the beautiful scenery

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Cabin. Check in was easy, it was easy to find, in a beautiful location. At first, the hosts were very responsive. Unfortunately I can't give a 5 star rating because it stated full amenities included. There was a washer and dryer with no laundry soap. A coffee pot and filters with no coffee. And a shower with no shampoo, conditioner or body wash. It was way too far from any store for us to be able to go out last minute for these items that were missing. When we messaged the hosts asking if the coffee was hiding somewhere, we received no response. Otherwise, it was a suitable place to sleep.

For any potential future customers, that may read this, Full Amenities does not mean a stocked pantry. What it does mean is every kitchen utensil, or pot and pan, coffee maker, toaster etc., you would need to put a meal together is here. Guests are expected to bring their own consumables! Also we supply All linens needed for bathroom and bedroom. We do not supply personal hygiene products, as we have no way of knowing personnel preference or allergies a guest may have. The closest Kroger store is 6.8 miles away. It also needs to be noted that there is livestock on this property. The barns and livestock are off limits to any guest unless accompanied by the owner!! Someone could have been seriously hurt!!

Great Getaway

Clean, Quiet, Troublefree, Comfortable and Roomy home away from home with friendly and responsive owners nearby if needed. Nice location with places to see and things to do within an easy drive.

Feeling at home

It Was very clean. Had lovely time beds were super comfortable. Used the DVD and watch movies. As well the kitchen was well stocked and ready for me to cook. I loved it overall and can't wait to go again.

Comfortable like home

Absolute pleasure to work with and rent from Wagon Wheel! Very clean, open floorplan, immediately comfortable with a homey feel. Perfect place to just get away and have some peace.

Best retreat ever

Kathy and Chris were so nice and replied to every question I had prior to the visit; easy to find; very quaint area and the restaurants in Chillicothe were fabulous! We will be back if it’s still available. Nicely decorated with Cabin coziness and fire pit for s’mores! Loved it all

Nice place

Really nice and clean property. Owners didn’t intrude which I appreciate. It is about an hour drive to the hocking hills state park. I would stay again.

Weekend getaway

This property is absolutely amazing! Quiet and relaxing weekend getaway! The kids loved the cabin and we were able to just relax from the busy daily schedules at home. Not a far drive to town to enjoy some of the area attractions (children's museum, Hopewell mounds, arena mansion). We definitely recommend this cabin as you will truly enjoy your home away from home ❤

Family Getaway

Our family of five enjoyed a quick getaway. The cabin was perfect and spacious. Everything we needed was provided. We were close enough to a grocery store to get our groceries for our stay. It was a great property with swings and some open space to play. We fully enjoyed the area from hiking to water park to Tecumseh. We highly recommend this rental. Chris and Kathy were great to work with.

Clean and relaxing

This cabin was super clean upon arrival, and had all the amenities we needed. After hiking Hocking Hills it was a relaxing place to hang out with our little family. Thanks for a great stay!

Family getaway

The place was quaint and secluded and we had the best host/hostess ever! The tv was on the fritz but the family was all on it to make sure our stay was memorable! I believe they are going to upgrade on this Amenity.. we were definitely in the hills and enjoyed our stay only thing I would change is to write out instructions on how to use the remote and DVD player for dummies like us and put some huge potted plants out in front to make it even more inviting! It was a great price as well!! Would definitely stay again!

Hocking hills trip

Was an awesome stay in the cabin! Owners were super friendly and told us some near by stuff to check out and let us feed the fish in his pond definitely will be going back!

Lovely Little getaway!

We absolutely loved our time at the cabin! Chris and Kathy were great hosts, very gracious and excellent communication! The cabin was well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals and the outdoor bbq grill was a great bonus. Beds were very comfortable. There is plenty of comfortable seating space for a family in the cabin too. We spent a lot of time hiking and swimming and fishing at Lake Caldwell just a very short drive up the road. Chris and Kathy allowed us to fish in their pond and provided a fire pit where we enjoyed smores in the evening. The outdoor drama Tecumseh was only about 20min away and is a must see! We are already planning a trip back to the cabin and highly recommend a stay! Thanks again Chris amd Kathy!!

Great Getawat

Had a Great weekend. Met our daughter for the weekend and hiked at Scioto Trail and then drove out to Hocking Hills. Had a great time and this was the perfect place to stay. Communication with the owner was very good and the cabin was fantastic. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!!

Great Place

We had a great time here , and will be back again for sure. Very clean and comfortable. The location is perfect if your on a hunting trip or just a weekend or family getaway. Wagon wheel Rentals is the place to go.
