Kirk Kove is an inviting beachfront property located on the tranquil North Side of Grand Cayman, offered by Cayman Villas. This charming two-bedroom, two-bathroom cottage is the perfect retreat for families or small groups seeking a peaceful island escape. Situated directly on a secluded, white sandy beach, Kirk Kove offers breathtaking views of the crystal-clear Bioluminescent Bay, with gentle waves lapping at the shore just steps from your door.

The interior of Kirk Kove is cozy and well-appointed, with an open-plan living and dining area that boasts panoramic ocean views. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing meals to enjoy either indoors or alfresco on the spacious screened porch, where the sounds of the sea provide a relaxing backdrop. Each of the two bedrooms is tastefully decorated, ensuring comfort and tranquility, with the master bedroom featuring a king-sized bed and private access to the beach, and the guest bedroom has a bunk with double beds and a single trundle bed. So the property can comfortably sleep up to 6 guests.

Unfortunately, our stay did not live up to our expectations, especially considering the price we paid for the property.One of the main reasons we chose this home was because a kayak was advertised as an included amenity. When we arrived, the kayak was not there. Initially, we were told to rent one ourselves. After further communication, the host agreed to arrange for a rental kayak to be delivered to the house for us, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, that never happened.Instead, we were later told that they had spoken with the property manager of the home next door and that we could go into that yard and use their kayak. We followed the directions we were given, only to realize the house they identified was not actually the correct property. This left me standing in someone else’s yard attempting to take their kayak, which was both embarrassing and extremely uncomfortable.There was also active construction directly next door throughout our stay. The noise significantly impacted our ability to relax and enjoy the pool and property, and we were not made aware of the construction prior to booking. Had we known, we would have chosen a different place to stay.The home itself was nice, but between the missing advertised amenity, the repeated promises regarding the kayak that were never followed through on, the uncomfortable situation we were put in, and the undisclosed construction next door, this stay was simply not worth the price we paid.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you found the home itself to be enjoyable, although we are naturally disappointed that your overall experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify a few points for future guests. The Kirk Kove property has never been advertised on the Cayman Villas website as including kayaks. Unfortunately, due to an error on the VRBO platform, kayaks were incorrectly listed as an amenity for this property. As soon as you brought this to our attention, we acknowledged the error and immediately began contacting local property managers in the Rum Point area to source complimentary kayaks for your stay at no cost to you. A kayak was arranged and brought to the property on your second day; however, as you were away for the day, it could not be left unattended on the beach for security reasons. We then arranged a second alternative for the following day through a neighbouring property, but by that time you advised us that, as it was your final day, you no longer wished to use the kayaks. While we regret that we were unable to get them to you sooner, we did make every effort to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. We would also like to clarify that there was no construction project taking place next door. The neighbouring homeowner was carrying out interior renovation work within their private residence. While there may have been occasional noise associated with those works, there was no exterior construction or building project occurring. At Cayman Villas, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional guest service, and we always do our utmost to resolve unexpected issues whenever they arise, even when they are outside of our control. We are sorry that, despite our efforts, we were unable to provide a resolution that met your expectations, and we appreciate your feedback.

Awesome bungalow

The house is beautiful and well-appointed. The yard and pool are fantastic. It is all spotless and seems new. The location is near Rum Point. The quieter side of Cayman is perfect for a vacation. It was also easy to drive over to Georgetown if we wanted.

Perfection

Kirk Cove was the perfect place to spend the week with our two young adult girls. From the location right on the cove, to the paddle boards, volleyball court and the hammocks in the shade, we so enjoyed our time here. The home is very clean and such a restful place. We'll be back.

Great House, Big Screened-in porch, private dock!

Perfect spot walkable to Rum Point Club! Very quiet street with a private dock and big bbq area. The best part was probably the big screened in porch with the two hammocks! It’s a very well maintained house with all you need to prepare meals and bbq. Don’t forget to pick up charcoal for the massive charcoal grill in the back!

BEST stay on Cayman yet!

We were absolutely thrilled when we opened the door to Kirk Cove! The home had been completely renovated and they did such a wonderful job with it! Our master bed was comfortable. They had everything we needed from beach towels to extra snorkeling gear to a well stocked kitchen! We loved it so much we have already rebooked the home for next year. Thank you so much!

Kirk Kove

We had a wonderful stay at Kirk Kove! The location was perfect for our family- ocean on either side, nice and quiet street, and walkable to the beach and restaurant! The property manager was easily accessible and answered our call regarding a missing paddle head. Was lovely to have the paddle boards (we took them to see some stingrays with the kids). The lanai was the most perfect place to hang out with the kids. It is a well stocked house. Overall, a clean property but could use a little small detail tune ups like moving the toilet brush out of guests eyes and cleaning up a few of the dishes. Overall, a nearly 10/10 stay!

Incredible house and property!

We loved our one-week stay at this gorgeous house! It was the perfect size for our group of 6, including 2 children. The pictures really don't do it justice, it is so beautiful both inside and out. The views are breathtaking! The kids loved swimming in the pool and laying on the hammocks. The beds were very comfortable, the rooms are spacious and well decorated. The kitchen was well stocked and everything was spotlessly clean. We loved the big screened in porch and ate many meals out there overlooking the water. Check in/out was an absolute breeze. The house is walking distance from Rum Point, which is a beautiful beach and restaurant/bar. It's also very close to Starfish Point. This area of the island is peaceful, quiet and beautiful. We really loved the neighborhood. Our favorite activities on the island were the Parrot Sanctuary, Turtle Center, Sting Ray City and the Botanical Gardens.

Great location, property even nicer in person!

This is a great house located right on the bio bay, away from the 7 mile beach tourist area. It is in very nice condition, and I think the pictures on the listing make it seem smaller or older than it is in real life! It's got 2 good sized bedrooms on opposite ends of the house, separated by a family room and large screened porch. Plenty of room for 4 people without feeling like you are on top of each other. There is plenty of space outside as well, including a small swimming pool and pier into the bay. Suggest renting a kayak to explore the bay - it's not a good swimming area (jellyfish) and there is no beach here either. But if you want a great beach and swimming Rum Point is a short 10 minute walk away. All in all, it's a great property!

Beautiful location!

Our family of 4 absolutely loved this property! The location was perfect for us - away from the hustle and bustle of Georgetown and 7MB, but close enough to visit when we wanted. We were minutes from the Bioluminescent Bay kayak tour and the Stingray Tour meeting points. We loved walking to Rum Point for snorkeling, food and drinks…and Kaibo Beach Club was also a very short drive away….walkable as well, but just far enough for us that we opted to drive instead. There were 4 beach towels provided…the pool was fantastic for cooling off! Know that there is limited snorkeling gear there, so if you plan to snorkel on your own be sure to bring your gear. Also, other than salt and pepper, there is nothing provided in the way of condiments or spices. You’ll also want to remember to pack some washing detergent if you don’t want to buy way more than you actually need while you’re there. The property manager was super easy to communicate with…always available when we had a question. Overall, just a great place to enjoy your vacation in Grand Cayman!!

DOT only allows us to leave Salt and Pepper in the property, and some properties will provide a few laundry pods for guests. Couldn’t have chosen a better location

This place was amazing!! Bioluminescent Bay right out the back door! Beautiful home and property. So conveniently located near some great attractions!! Well stocked kitchen. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. Easy communication with host. Awesome dock, volleyball court, gazebo. Walk to Beach and bars at Rum Point. Highly recommend.

If you want beautiful sunrises and sunsets, quiet evenings on the screened-in porch, and relaxing days on the beach, this is the place for you. Cayman Kai/Rum Point area is far removed from the congestion of Seven Mile Beach. Kirk Kove had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. (Fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, AC, beach towels, hammocks, etc.) Dining recommendations: Kaibo Beach Bar, Kaibo Upstairs, Tukka, Eagle's Ray, Over the Edge We explored the entire island in our rental car (a must for this area). Advantages: water safe to drink, constant breeze, no bugs, 75 to 83 degree weather, beautiful beaches Disadvantage: groceries and drinks more expensive than the states We did visit Seven Mile area on two occasions. We visited Governor's Beach which was not crowded and the water was crystal clear and deep enough to swim. We walked less than a mile to Hemingway's on the beach for lunch. We were fortunate to swim with the stingrays. What a wonderful way to spend my birthday and get away from the frigid north!
