You will enjoy great days right here in one of the best places on earth!

We guarantee the most beautiful sunset of Florida in shiny colors and with the best view, you will ever have.

Our "Fishermen´s Paradise" is located just a few minutes away from the Gulf of Mexico. The house has direct access to the water with its own landing stage. The spectacular view to the west won´t let you spend your evenings somewhere else. The building complex is characteristic of Matlacha - a colorful and creatively decorated accommodation with a fresh touch and lovingly attached details.

The "Fisherman´s Paradise" consists of 5 small and adorable studios. Each studio offers a queen-size bed, an eat-in kitchen, and an own shower bath. A community washing machine and dryer are also available as well as many different seating groups in the spacious outside area.

Look forward to spending nice evenings on the terrace: the sensational sunset will ensure a relaxed atmosphere.

The Tarpon Suite is charming and we enjoyed our stay. Our only challenge was a problematic lock box. We came in after dark and luckily a neighbor helped us get into our unit. Matlacha is a hoot and the food at The Blue Dog was great!

Great stay

Great place to stay on the island. The place all that you need and the view from the dock was great in the evening. Excellent value for the location.

Fishermans paradise

We had a very relaxing stay at the Tarpon suite, cute old Florida style room, very clean, comfy bed, nice view of the water. This was our first time in this area, so we had fun exploring. Maybe next time we will take out a kayak! Enjoyed our stay!

Everything was great, except the yard maintenance guy running a leaf blower at 7:45 AM.

Great location. Nice amenities. Would definitely use again.

Especially where there is a lot to do and possibly a little time pressure on the staff, the use of a leaf blower is a common tool. However, we are glad that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you as a guest again!

Just exactly what we were looking for.

Winter break from Vermont

Had never been to Matlacha or SW Florida. We really liked the neighborhood. Low key and fun. We had the entire complex to ourselves for several days, so the quiet was much appreciated. Pine island was lovely. Matlacha was centrally located for exploring both north and south.

Fisherman’s Paradise…really!

We love this place. It was our second stay here. It’s a great location close to great fishing. They have kayaks to rent and you can hang outside on the common patio/deck when you get back. We plan on coming back to this well-appointed, clean and attractive little haven. Thank you for a wonderful two weeks!

Our Stay in Matlacha

It was perfect for my daughter and I. I admit we were out more than we were there. I was surprised at all the growth before and after Matlacha. The chairs on the deck were great for sunset watching.

Romantic stay for our anniversary

Bridge Construction

The only downside to our stay was the bridge construction. Traffic and noise started around 9AM. Other than that it is a great place to stay.

Super Fun in Matlacha

Great location in Matlacha. Cute cottage just steps away from waterway on Piine Island. Outstanding sunsets every evening. Nice comfortable beds, very quiet, safe area. Great for couple. Enjoyed ferry out to Costa Cayo State Park, Tropic Star is about 20 minutes away on Pine Island. Grocery stores were very close. Enjoyed out stay. Thanks

The apartments of our Fishermen's Paradise are in fact rather more functional than our guests in Matlacha more than elsewhere spend a lot of time outside and the apartments are often used only as a place to sleep. We are happy that you had such a great time!

Our first aVisit to Matlacha

Loved our stay! Everything was as described. Quaint, quiet place with beautiful sunsets. We will return. We stayed in the Tarpon Suite and really enjoyed it. Very close proximity to restaurants and shops. Marco, Martina, Stephanie and Marlene were extremely responsive if we had a question... One suggestion would be to update the guide books for each room, and include a luggage rack for the Unit. Again, really enjoyed our stay here!

Luggage racks are in part simply not feasible for reasons of space, as the accommodations of our Fishermen's Paradise are rather small and cozy. However, we are happy that you had a great time in Matlacha and we would be happy if you keep us and our rentals in mind!

Love Matlacha!

The area is clearly hurting having been hit with three recent hurricanes. We like this area because it is close to our son’s house. We also like that so many properties are on the water. We had beautiful sunsets each night of our stay and the dock had nice chairs for all of us to sit and watch. Would definitely stay here again. My only comment is the ceilings are low and I’m a bit claustrophobic so I was happy to sit outside most of the time. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner.

R & R in Matlacha

Quiet suite right at the water. Great for those who love fishing! Walk out your door and cast your line anytime of the day or night. My husband cooked up his fresh catch in the kitchen and grilled steaks on the gas grill just outside the suite on the deck. Marcus was friendly and came by to introduce himself & chat. Place was clean, bed comfortable. We hope to visit Tarpon Suite again! Sherry & Brian

GREAT LOCATION!

With most everything in walking distance, other than a small grocery, this is a great place to unwind and relax and take it easy. Very clean and tidy. The only downside is that the other residents that came in near the last days were not very respectful of our privacy by sitting in front of our windows till late in the evening which made for noise and lack of privacy. Other than that it was a great stay.

It may be a disadvantage of the accommodations facing the water that there is also a common outdoor area with seating and the boat deck. In general, however, we can say that our guests are usually considerate of each other. Of course, we are sorry if some of you felt disturbed. However, we are pleased that you were able to spend a great time in Matlacha. Thanks for the feedback!
