Condo nice but complex not great

Although the condo itself was very nice and the owner was responsive and pleasant and takes pride in her unit, the condo complex has seen better days. The pool was nice and clean but the other buildings/grounds were in disrepair and seemed a little sketchy. It was about a 10-15 minute drive to the beach, which we didn't mind. Beaches were fabulous. Love Sarasota and Siesta Key, just wish the condo complex would put some money and time into the buildings and grounds.

Christmas vacation

This property in the back of a condo, the inside of the property is nicely clean. The pool is a community and was nicely heated even on cool days in December.

Great experience

Was a nice apartment. Very clean and felt homie. It was close to everything, never had to drive over 15 minutes to get anywhere. And the price was affordable .

Comfortable apartment

Unit was very clean and consistent with photos and description. Quiet condo community. Generally a short drive to all the sites. Nice Publix across the street and don’t miss Detwiler’s Market nearby. Kitchen was well equipped. Eva was quick to respond to our questions.

This condo was a wonderful place to stay! We enjoyed the beautiful clean pool and the Sarasota area. So close to Sieasta beach The owner was available for any questions. Do not hesitate to book this!

Great Trip!

My family of 4 stayed at this rental and we had a great time! The property was really well cleaned and it was a short 10 minute drive from Siesta Beach (free parking). My family had a great time and I highly recommend this property.

Great Facility

The two bathrooms,the two bedrooms,the kitchen,the dinning-living room area,and the back patio fit our needs perfectly.The only complaint I have over the three weeks we were there is that on three or four occasions during the night things were noisy directly outside and/or upstairs. Quiet and convenient

The unit was clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. And although the condo complex is located on Clark Rd., the unit itself is at the back of the property, and so we could not hear any street noise at all. The location is excellent, convenient to Siesta Key beaches as well as shopping. We would highly recommend staying here, and hope to return in the future.

Wonderful place

We had a great time at Eva's. The house was immaculate and the kids had a great time at the heated pool. Siesta key beach was very close. Gorgeous beach.

Wonderful properties and owners!

Although it was impossible to tell from the outside of the condo complex since that needs some improvements, the inside of Eva and George’s condos were an oasis. Clean, stocked with everything one could need and lovely little decorating pearls! They have really tried to make these units homey and comfortable. Flat screen TVs in every room, linen, towels, pool and beach supplies, fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer. I can’t say enough about the care and attention that these 2 put into their rentals. We had a problem with a sticky front door lock and they were at our unit in minutes to help out!!

Decent Basic Apartment w/good location

So I'm going to try and give an honest review with the good & bad. I'm very grateful to the owners for allowing us an early check-in & allowed us to bring our cocker spaniel. They were very patient while we were able to process payment. They communicated well and didn't just rent to someone else when payment wasn't processed immediately. We arrived around 11 and didn't think much of complex outside it seemed a bit outdated & messy. The good: The apartment was clean. Kitchen was very well equipped with all the necessary items to cook a decent meal for a family of 4 to 6. The kitchen, bathrooms & flooring seemed to be recently updated. The t.v's were modern and had cable service. Everything was very clean appliances, bathroom, floors. There were clean towels in the bathrooms. The "needs improvement": The kitchen had some ants around, some were climbing into our food that we brought in. I felt that the sheets, covers were not cleaned or changed but there were plenty to go around. The sofa bed needs the cover changed as it was stained. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, I felt that at least 2 or 3 should have been provided. Also no extra bags for the garbage. I thought that some cleaning supplies could have been provided so we could clean after ourselves. We managed to leave everything decent with what I could find. The broom needs replacement. The outdoor furniture & grill could use some cleaning / updating. The water faucet in the bathroom is very hard so you need to hold it with one hand against the wall and pull the handle with the other. Once I was told how to do it, then we were fine. Apart from a couple of things, we enjoyed our stay...Venice beach is about 15 minutes and Siesta beach is also about 10 to 15 minutes. If you have furry friends Brohard paw park is in Venice and dogs can run free. Siesta Beach is a nice area we also enjoyed our time there. The apartment is located in the town of Sarasota but it is not a beach town so please don't expect you're going to be walking to the beach. It is a residential area with a Publix right across and a Walmart right down the road not too far away. I can't speak to if this is a good or bad area of Sarasota as I'm not from the area. It seemed just o.k..... a mixture of all. I hope this review helps you make a good decision about staying here.

Home away from home, it how to his Condo makes you feel.

From the moment you Walk in the door you feel comfortable, the place is very clean and has everything you will need for your stay, including Publix supermarket across the street. I will be back for another stay.

We were very pleased with the condo. It had plenty of sleeping for 6 people and also had all the necessary items we needed to get through the week. It is also right across the street from a grocery store, Walgreens, Bank and many choices for food. The condo was very clean and came equipped with a washer and dryer as well as a grill, toaster oven and patio furniture. Eva is a delight to work with and plan to stay at this very condo again next year! She made the entire process very simple and painless.

Great place to say!!!

I love this apartment! The condominium is very quiet and although it does not have a great look outside, the inside is great! I was very impressed with neatness and cleanness of the apartment. From the bathrooms to the kitchen all very clean. The washing machine works perfectly. The patio and the BBQ are very nice. I love that I could take my dog with me. The condo has a doggie park and a lot of green areas. The location was perfect! Publix, walgreens, papa johns pizza, gas station across the street. The beach is 10 min driving and it is Gorgeous!!!! I can only compare Sarasota to Varadero (Cuba)! Totally recommend this place!!! Looking forward coming back soon!

Nice 2 bedroom condo, even nicer owners

The owners we very accommodating for my special request for a weekend rental requested very last minute. The home is lovely and the location was superb! We enjoyed the community pool several times over the weekend and it was only 10 minutes from the beach. We had no issues at all with the home. Our car did however get hit in the parking lot causing damage to the headlights, which we will now need to replace. This was, of course, not the fault of the owners of the condo in any way, though.

Nice Stay

We were very happy with the condo. Extremely clean, quiet, and most everything you need with the exception of food is supplied. The master bedroom had it's own private bathroom and shower. There are a lot of conveniences right across the street - grocery store, pharmacy, bakery. Although the condo complex is on a very busy main road, the condo is set far back and you can not hear any traffic. The owners were very easy to deal with and were always available when I called. I actually locked myself out of the condo and she was there within 10 minutes to let me in. The location is also a 10 minute drive to Siesta Key which is as good as U.S beaches get. The only reason it is not 5 stars is that the exterior of the condos (not just this one) could use some updating. That is not the fault of the owners of course, but would be the one improvement that could be made. This was definitely worth the money and was much better than staying at a similarly priced hotel. I would definitely recommend.

husband & I so enjoyed this condo.private fenced off area off patio doors with easily operated gas barbecue.table and chairs for outdoors.the inside was attractive,kitchen very up to date and convenient,good couches & chairs,tastefully decorated and good beds.the condo was sparkling clean on our arrival.bedding & towels good quality.pool area clean and attractive.excellent location to main st.,Sarasota,bayfront,siesta key beach and many others.highly recommend.our stay was relaxing and fun.sienna park residents pleasant & friendly and respectful of one and other.we were there for 2 months plus one wk.

Beautiful condo

The condo is so clean and neat and beautiful. Just felt like home. The beach is just minutes away by car. The pool is nice, however, we only went once since the beach was so enticing. The grocery store is across the street. Anything you need within minutes. We did enjoy our stay and had a very comfortable time. Linda
