Close to town, so worked for us, as there for fireworks etc. Hosts were very informative during our stay. Cozy & clean.

We had an amazing time. Only thing was we couldn’t connect to the WiFi, but we didn’t care. Too much fun downtown.

Conveniency & comfort!

Lots of pluses! Very clean. Comfortable beds. Convenient to Front Street. Nice home & layout. Communication was clear and responsive by host. Beautiful view.Keep in mind... If you choose this property, the host STRICTLY enforces the four vehicle limit, 10 person capacity limit and the six overnight person rule. Addionally, smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere on the outside of the home, as well.

Our stay started off well until I reached out about the Wi-Fi. I’m not sure if the hosts were monitoring the cameras before, but after that, they seemed to watch the cameras and message us throughout the entire weekend. I tried my best to communicate the house rules to my family while also spending quality time with them.I wasn’t aware that the hosts had restrictions on who could visit during the day. I had communicated to them that we were aware of the overnight guest rule and that no parties were allowed. I also shared that we were grieving the recent passing of my grandmother and were simply spending time together to heal. Space was the only reason we went this route. At one point, the hosts messaged us with a picture showing at least eight cars at the house, and noted that my sister’s tire was on the grass. They also mentioned receiving a noise complaint and gave us 30 minutes to clear out or they’d contact Vrbo. At the time of the alleged noise complaint, we were in the backyard watching the city’s fireworks and making s’mores. There’s no way anyone could’ve heard noise from us. It felt like they were simply monitoring the cameras and didn’t want that many cars parked on the property.While it was stressful opening the app to a new message from them, I truly enjoyed my time with my family. The property itself is beautiful, and the location is perfect. If it weren’t for the constant surveillance, I would definitely consider returning when I visit home in the future.

We are disappointed to see your comments l as they lack voracity. Our listing is clear that no events are allowed at the house. The noise complaint we received from our neighbor also noted that there were 8-10 cars at the house with several parked on the grass and 25-30 people outside the house. The 1st time we messaged you we simply requested that you break up the party and ask the partygoers to not drive on the grass. You assured us you would do that right away. We thought it may have been a misunderstanding on your part but then the same thing happened the next night. It was only then that we messaged that we would need to contact VRBO if the party did not cease right away. It is totally unacceptable and offensive that you would somehow claim we were responsible for something inappropriate when you clearly violated the house rules and our trust.
