Thanks to three bedrooms our apartment is an ideal place for parents, children and grand-parents and also for colleagues on business trips.
Situated in a vivid area the apartment is still absolutely quiet.
It is light and spacious with stuccoed ceilings, completely renovated, new furniture, a modern kitchen with all facilities. A powerful central heating system in winter makes the apartment a cozy retreat for you. It's the typical charming Berlin apartments from where you can easily reach all sights. Absolute non-smoker apartment!
Three big separate bedroom with blackout curtains, separate kitchen and spacious dining/living room. Centrally located, 5 min. walk to either S-Bahn or U-Bahn. Only 4 stops to Kurfürstendamm, 2 stops to exhibition center. Shops, loveley restaurants, gyms close by. Two parks with playground, sunbathing ground and boule area are just next door. A lift is provided which stops IN BETWEEN the floors, i.e. you have to walk 10 steps DOWN.

Un bel appartement spacieux et lumineux, bien équipé à une dizaine de minutes du métro, supermarché, pharmacie et restaurants pour visiter Berlin. Nous avons apprécié le quartier résidentiel et calme, la literie bien confortable et le cadet pour faire nos courses! L’île aux musées est à 30 min à peine et la gare à 15-20 min de métro. Très pratique et confortable

Berlin Tiergarten Apartment

We loved our apartment for our stay. We had everything we needed. Our hosts, Helmut and Sieglind were very responsive, prior to our arrival and called to make sure our check in was smooth which was very kind. They provided places to visit, restaurants, etc. We were about 2.5 km from the Main Train Station which was an easy walk when going to explore the city or catch the Hop On Hop Off bus. We were very close to some very good restaurants as well. Overall an excellent place to stay! Thank you.

New Year in Berlin

The apartment is elegant and brighter than the photos suggest. The hostess’s paintings are amazing. The layout of the Kitchen was unusual but worked well when we figured it out. I liked that there were photos of the layout of the drawers and cabinets so I could put things back where they belong. I am going to copy this idea. Unfortunately, I didn’t remember that we had changed the time of check in from 3 to 2. I made the reservation last summer and couldn’t locate all the communications with the hostess. We were charged for the one hour wait.

Berlin Visit

The property was located in a family centric community. Slower pace but still lively throughout the night. The VRBO was very spacious and well equipped with everything you would need for a weeks stay. Communication was excellent with the host and would highly recommend this property for exploring Berlin.

Super clean and conveniently located from two train stations

Soon after our arrival straight from the airport, one of our hosts met us at the door to provide us with the keys. Later that day we walked a few blocks east to enjoy dinner at one of the recommended restaurants. A train station is also there. The next morning we walked to a coffee shop as well. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Our hosts were accessible and fast to respond to any of our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

All was good, few nice restaurants in the neighborhood. And seems located in high end and quiet neighborhood. Easy to reach any parts of Berlin by public transport.

Spacious, elegant, and convenient apartment

The apartment was exactly as listed. It is very spacious, with large bedrooms (3) with lots of room to spread out, A large full bathroom and a powder room next to it. All of the furniture is comfortable, with excellent lighting. The many large, modern windows provide lots of natural light. It was great to have easy to use appliances, and having a washer and dryer was ideal for our two-week stay. The kitchen has a plenty of dishes and cutlery and we had the various pots and pans we needed for cooking meals. The neighbourhood is very handy to a large supermarket, reasonably-priced restaurants, and a pharmacy. It is a short walk to the Birkenstrasse U-Bahn station, and more or less equidistant to two S-Bahn stations on the ring line. We were able to travel all over Berlin very easily using a combination of the U-Bahn and S-Bahn to connect to buses and trams. The street was generally very quiet, and when there was noise from people in the street when we were going to bed, it was short-lived and we slept soundly in the comfortable beds. The apartment is close to a school and we enjoyed seeing parents and children arriving in the morning and the happy sound of children playing. The hosts were very prompt to respond to questions. All in all, this was one of the best rentals we have experienced.

Beautiful apartment in bustling local neighbourhood

The apartment was beautiful, really spacious and very well-equipped. You get a real sense of local living in this area, with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance along with local shops and a huge supermarket. The U-bahn is only a few minutes walk away, so it's easy to get anywhere in Berlin, and only about 15 minutes to Mitte (less in a taxi). I'd highly recommend this place.

Tolle Wohnung !

Sehr verkehrsgünstig gelegen: U-Bahn, S-Bahn, Supermarkt, Kneipe/Café/Restaurant in 5 min zu Fuß entfernt, 10-20 min zum Ku‘damm bzw. zu Unter den Linden. Große, geschmackvoll eingerichtete, super ausgestattete und vor allem ruhige Wohnung. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt und würden gerne wiederkommen !

Beautiful apartment and location

The apartment was beautiful and located in a lovely neighbourhood with some good restaurants. Beds were very comfortable. We had train issues getting to Berlin but they were very patient and helpful with adjusting check in times. Highly recommended

Schöne Wohnung, ideal für längeren Aufenthalt

Die Wohnung ist wirklich sehr schön. Was jedoch gestört hat, war die mehrmalige Aufforderung, im Treppenhaus mucksmäuschenstill zu sein. Wenn das wirklich so ein Problem ist, wieso wird die Wohnung dann als Ferienwohnung vermietet? Selbstverständlich haben wir auf Ruhe im Treppenhaus geachtet. Die Übernahme der Wohnung ist etwas kompliziert und umständlich, die Vermietung will bereits mindestens eine Woche zum Voraus wissen, wann genau man eintrifft. Die zuständige Person ist dann jedoch sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Sodann ist die Wohnung zwar nicht weit von der U-Bahn Station entfernt, die Reise in die Stadtmitte ist jedoch mit Umsteigen verbunden. Fazit: die Wohnung eignet sich eher für eine längeren Aufenthalt in Berlin. Für einen Kurz-Trip empfiehlt sich eine zentrumsnahere Unterkunft. Eine Kapselkaffeemaschine wäre wünschenswert, Filterkaffee ist höchstens noch nostalgisch, jedoch ohne Kaffeegenuss.

Beautiful place and great location

Gorgeous property which is really well stocked (lots of dishes, a little toiletries basket, extra pillows/blankets) and only a short walk to the underground. Our whole family enjoyed the stay, and I would book there again.

Internationale Freunde

Wir - ein Freundesteam aus Franzosen und Deutschen - im "besten" Reisealter (60+) haben uns in dieser großzügigen Wohnung sehr wohlgefühlt. Am Anreisetag war die Vermieterin und ihr Team vor Ort immer für uns ansprechbar - somit erfolgte die Wohnungsübergabe ohne Probleme. Zusätzlich zur direkten Ansprache war auch ein Ordner mit wichtigen und interessanten Informationen in der Wohnung vorhanden. Die Wohnung entspricht voll und ganz der Darstellung im Internet. Die nächste U-Bahn Station war innerhalb von 5 Gehminuten ohne große Eile zu erreichen. Direkt in der Nähe der Station waren sowohl ein Supermarkt als auch eine "Kneipe/Gaststätte"vorhanden. (Nach einem Tag voller "Sight-Seeing" ein willkommener Moment um in den "Feierabend" zu starten.

Trip down memory lane

3 generations of women. Oldest lived in Berlin as a child. Youngest worked in Berlin for 2 years before Covid. The Apartment had lots of space and a decent kitchen. Excellent shower.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt in wohnlicher großzügiger Atmosphäre!

Die Wohnung entspricht exakt den Angaben und den Fotos. Sie ist sehr großzügig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben einige sehr schöne Tage hier verlebt. Insbesondere das großzügige Bad mit barrierefreier Dusch und separates 2.WC waren angenehm für unsere betagten Eltern. In der Küche hätten wir uns vielleicht noch ein über ein Holzschneidebrett gefreut. Die Anbindung verkehrstechnisch ist günstig. Wir haben Berlin mit 2 Rollifahrern unkompliziert besuchen können. Danke!

Wonderful, spacious apartment in convenient location

The apartment was clean and bright. The bedrooms are all large and comfortable and we really appreciated the washer and dryer and dishwasher. The hosts were great—pleasant and responsive. Close to the S bahn and U bahn, which run every few minutes and you can get anywhere in Berlin in a short time. The neighborhood was quiet and shopping nearby. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Mooie ruime hoeketage in stille straat maar dichtbij alle voorzieningen

De woning biedt veel ruimte, is perfect onderhouden en schoon en is smaakvol ingericht. De keuken heeft alle voorzieningen en meer (kruiden etc.) . Eindelijk een anti- aanbakpan zonder krassen! Wij hebben er met veel plezier gezeten. Tip: in de Waldenstrasse zit “ Einer DieserTage” voor heerlijk koffie, ijs en vers gebakken wafels en de Italiaan “Europa Moabit” in de Wiclefstrasse heeft goede pasta’s en sfeer!

Stunning property in Berlin Suburbs

The Air BB was beautiful, comfortable and in a safe and interesting neighborhood. It was an easy walk to a variety of restaurants and grocery store. The U-Bahn was a 10 minute walk and an easy ride to the main attractions.

Nice flat, great location

It’s a great flat. Large light and airy rooms, comfortable beds, well furnished. Everything you need. 5 minutes from the U-bahn, the supermarket, a decent kebab shop, some good restaurants. On a very quiet road in a quiet block. The check in process was pretty smooth even though we were running late from the airport. Would definitely recommend this apartment.

Thus we know how important it is to live in a comfortable apartment with all facilities in a quiet house and area and especially for me a well heated apartment in winter. We take pride in our home and so we were lucky to get guests who would look after our home as if it were their own.

We fell in love with this apartment in Berlin/Mitte because of the high stuccoed ceilings, the spacious and bright rooms and the quiet house and surrounding although it is centrally located. Shops and numerous cafés and restaurants are just 5 minutes away as well as public transport. A perfect and cosy retreat in a busy town. There is always space enough for our big family and very close to all public transport, shops, restaurants and fitness centers.

Our flat is a real rare piece of jewellery from the Wilhelminian era. It is something special and a rare opportunity to live in a flat like this. It is of the latest standard and tastefully furnished. It is centrally located at Berlin/MItte so you have easy access to all public transport, And it's only a 5 minutes taxi drive from the central train station.
Spacious rooms give each of our guests privacy and a a quiet environment ensures a peaceful night's sleep.
