CARRIAGE HOUSE APARTMENT ā€¢ 195B North Prospect St. Burlington, VT 05401 The building has been our graphic design studio for the last 20 years. Weā€™ve recently moved out and back into our main house, on the same property, and have added a kitchen and shower to our one bedroom space. Our property is easy walking distance to UVM and the UVM Medical Center. DETAILS - One bedroom with a queen bed; full kitchen with all new high-end appliances & well stocked for cooking meals; bathroom with tiled shower, antique pedestal sink; living room/ dining area with table and 4 chairs (more possible), day bed/twin bed, upholstered chair(s); large TV with streaming services; new washer/dryer on the ground floor. Upstairs lining space is 900 square feet plus downstairs entrance area/ laundry. Off street parking. Large property surrounded by mature trees- we called this our treehouse when it was our workspace. Lotā€™s of light, set back from the street, so it is quiet. 5 blocks from UVM green, 15-18 minute walk to the patient entrance of the hospital - less than one mile. 18-20 minute walk - one mile to Downtown Burlington. 35 minute walk to Waterfront Park 1.6 miles. All utilities / Wifi / Washer, Dryer / Ample parking included

Everything about this Carriage House is lovely. Beautifully furnished, comfortable and extremely clean. The hosts were both very communicative and available for anything.I will absolutely stay here again.

This was truly one of the best Vrbo experiences weā€™ve had to date. The carriage house was absolutely charming ā€” beautifully designed, impeccably maintained, and perfectly situated. Its location couldnā€™t be better - close to all of Burlingtonā€™s highlights with easy access to explore the rest of the state. Every detail was so thoughtfully considered, from the spacious, well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable sleeping areas and ample storage. The Carriage House was a cool, cozy getaway in a great location. Close to everything, but just far enough away for a quiet night. Very clean space! Excellent communication with our hosts. Perfect for parents visiting their UVM student.

Spacious Carriage House

Wife and I stayed 3 nights. Very pleasant stay. House is in a wonderful neighborhood and convenient to everything Burlington has to offer. We found it immaculate, comfortable and very well stocked. Communication with Lyn and Bill was good. We highly recommend this carriage house.

A Luxurious Oasis within the City

Lyn and Bill have created a wonderful setting that makes guests feel like they are at home away while traveling.The apartment is spacious and has been recently been updated with luxury appliances and a new bathroom. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals. The bedroom is spacious with a desk for work or journaling while traveling, and the queen bed is very comfortable. The setting is a uniquely large property (over one acre) within city limits that has beautiful landscaping and a garden that makes you fell like you are in the countryside. Lyn and Bill are kind and gracious hosts. They provided insights and recommendations about the area. The location is excellent as a home base to explore the beautiful towns in the area. We look forward to returning to the beautiful state of Vermont!

Quiet tasteful, freindly, beautiful

Our three nights were super comfortable in this exquisitely appointed and equipped home. The kitchen has all the important things, including sharp knves and a refrigerator basics, and everywhere there were loving and tasteful touches. We easily walked up to events at UVM and down to the waterfront to gaze out over the lake. It could not have been more convenient, comfotable or beautiful. Stunning and friendly. We'll be back!!

Moving UVM kid home for the summer

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. It is very convenient to UVM, in a pretty, quiet neighborhood. From the unit are views of a pretty garden and a chicken coop! All the appliances are brand new and the unit was clean and comfortable. The owners graciously stocked our kitchen with some essentials and were helpful and available during our stay. The purpose of my visit was to help my kid move out of dorms for the summer, and I wouldā€™ve been content with anything ā€œcleanā€ and ā€œnearbyā€ but this unit really surpassed my expectations. Highly recommended!

Perfect Private Getaway

My now husband and I eloped in Vermont and decided to have Bill and Lyn's carriage house be our "honeymoon getaway." It was beyond perfect and what we were expecting. The owners are SO incredibly kind and communicative. They left us a congratulations note with Champlain chocolates! They were super awesome and easy to communicate with. We were worried that being in Burlington wouldn't give us a lot of options with privacy, but this space was PERFECT. We felt we could easily get around, there was a lot to do, and the carriage house is so tastefully done and clean. 100/10, would recommend. Our little honeymoon couldn't have been located anywhere better. Thank you Bill and Lyn for your amazing hospitality!!!

Perfect in every way!

Staying at the Charming Carriage House in Burlington was perfect in every way. Communication regarding arrival, our stay and departure was prompt and very informative. The home is beautifully decorated and features very high end appliances and fixtures. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare your favorite meal. Located a short walk or drive from every area we wanted to explore - we were able to fill our days with the wonderful sites around town. We will definitely book this amazing space whenever we visit the Burlington area!
