Close to the bike path for rides along the lake into Burlington or along the causeway to South Hero. Only a 10min drive into downtown Burlington. With a spacious bedroom featuring a king bed and a comfortable living room with a sofa bed, this place offers a soothing atmosphere for relaxation. Enjoy coffee on the screened porch overlooking Lake Champlain with amazing sunrises. Fully functional kitchen with all new appliances. This was a lovely loft with a view of Mallets Bay, the perfect getaway near Burlington, VT for a wonderful autumn season. The hosts are spectacular and will treat you better than any 5 star hotel, and the property is better than the images can show. Great scenery and food in the area, and a wonderful place to either relax or stay in if doing activities nearby. Would absolutely stay here again, 100/10 rating for this place.

We had a great stay. The location was fabulous, the room was just as described with great views.The communication with David and Renea was great. We were able to meet Archie and Charliie and they were great and friendly. Thank you for renting your place to us.

We absolutely loved our time on Lake Champlain! The house felt welcoming the moment we walked in — spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could need. Waking up to those beautiful lake views was pure magic, and having such easy access for our jet ski made every day an adventure. We also had a blast discovering some amazing local restaurants. This place truly made our trip special, and we can’t wait to come back!

5 stars isn't enough when it came to this place. Everything was wayyyyyy above my expectations. The location just overlooking Mallet's Bay was breathtaking. This place served as our home base while we explored the state up to the Canadian border. The state itself is severely underrated and deserves more attention. Dave and Renee made us feel right at home. One thing is for sure, this isn't goodbye. This is "see you next time", because we will DEFINITELY be back.

Amazing stay at a wonderful, cozy, lakeside loft

This is a cozy one bedroom loft with a full kitchen, living room (with pullout couch), and a small screened in deck. It has a single flight of stairs to go up. The deck overlooks the property and the lake, where you can watch the boats coming in and out of the marina. Nice place for morning coffee or to sit and read at night when you get tired of fighting off the bugs by the water. Access to the water is by going around the side by the owner's property, and there are chairs by the lake as well. The owners, Dave and Renee, are the most amazing hosts. They were so welcoming and always available to help us out or give information when needed. Wonderful people and they really made our stay top notch. Their dogs and cats were an added bonus, as we love animals, so that was fun. It is an extremely peaceful & quite area, and a perfect place to unwind.

The location was perfect for exploring the Lake Champlain area! Close to go biking on the causeway and kayaking on the lake. David and Renee were so friendly and welcoming- the loft had everything we needed and more. Would definitely book a return visit!

We enjoyed our stay at the loft! David and Renee were friendly and great with my 6 year old. My son loved meeting their two well-behaved labs, Charlie & Archie, and really loved the basketball hoop which David had set up at just the right height. The notebook of area attractions and restaurants was helpful (we really loved the alpaca burger at Pioneer’s!) The loft is clean and cutely decorated, and views of the lake are beautiful. The screened deck was our favorite. The area felt safe, and we enjoyed exploring the Champlain causeway and swimming in the lake.

We are lifelong Vermonters that finally found our piece of heaven on lake Champlain. We love to boat, golf, walk our dogs and eat all the great food in Vermont! We have two awesome, friendly English labs Archie and Charlie and three cats.

We live on a lovely private road in Mallets bay with only 14 homes. We have stunning morning sunrises over the Bay. We have a nice dock for enjoying all the water activities like fishing, kayaking and paddle boarding!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The loft apartment has its own driveway and is detached from our home allowing lots of privacy. The screened in porch allows guests to have gorgeous views over the water and it’s an easy walk down to the dock to enjoy a paddle or try your hand at fishing. The full kitchen has all you will need to make your own meals or we are close to many excellent restaurants in Colchester, Burlington and Winooski.
