Come through The Yellow Door where joy awaits! Step into a splendid, modern sanctuary filled with airy, sunlit spaces and beautifully balanced design. Located right in the heart of Eastsound Village on Orcas Island, WA, this retreat offers unbeatable convenience for those seeking both relaxation and adventure. From exploring local boutiques to savoring delicious cuisine, embarking on a whale-watching tour, or catching stunning mountain and beach views, every delight of island life is just steps away.

Inside, you’ll find an enticing, fully equipped kitchen where you can cook up your favorite meals with ease, alongside a lovely living area set for relaxation. Enjoy meals in the dining area for four, which features cozy bench seating on one side and two chairs on the other—a perfect spot for family gatherings or quiet morning coffee. With air conditioning and heating, comfort is guaranteed year-round, and we’ve even included a pack-and-play for our littlest guests, making this a family-friendly getaway.

Retreat to one of two immaculate, oh-so-comfortable bedrooms. The spacious main king suite upstairs is bright, open, and provides access to a private balcony where you can drink in serene ocean views. The downstairs bedroom offers two twin beds that can easily be converted into a second king, providing flexibility for any guest setup. Both bedrooms come with their own smart TVs for cozy nights in.

Refresh and unwind in two spotless bathrooms—a full bath upstairs with a tub for soaking, and a sleek downstairs bath with a walk-in shower. There’s also a charming office nook upstairs with views of the village, along with a sweet bookcase stocked with books and games for added fun.

After a day of exploring or just because, slip into the luxurious hot tub and let the warm water melt your stress away. Then, gather around the outdoor seating area to share a toast and savor this dream vacation with family or friends.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location right in town we were able to walk to everything and the kids could ride their bikes. The master bedroom is really comfortable and the view from the deck is nice. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need and a nice setup for families.

This was possibly one of the best places we ever stayed when booking with vrbo! It was very conveniently located. Walkable to shops, restaurants and bars. The house itself was so well stocked. All kinds of spices, coffee, trash bags, etc. lots of dishes, pots and pans too. The property manager Kristen was so responsive. The house was immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable. Really great place.

Great location, everything has been thought of, and very clean! We enjoyed this place and would definitely recommend and stay here again. TV’s in bedrooms only and our kids enjoyed watching in the upstairs master bed with all the comfy pillows and blankets.

Good location and clean. Think of the house like something from IKEA and you won't be disappointed. It's small and you can hear a lot of noise, especially when flushing the toilet upstairs. It's best suited for 4 or less people.

This was our first time on Orcas, so we took a chance and stayed in town. Close to everything, we were able to walk into town for dinner, groceries and ice cream:). Although the kitchen is on the small side, it is well-appointed and had everything we needed to make a couple of meals. We enjoyed both outdoor recreation spaces as well. The gift card to Orcas Bakery and local Girl Meets Dirt preserves was greatly appreciated!

The Best VRBO!We had the most wonderful stay! The house was immaculate, the beds and furniture were so comfortable, and the hot tub was sparkling! We loved being so close to the town, including the bakeries and bike rental shop. The host went above and beyond to add special touches that made us feel so special. My children never wanted to leave!

A weekend on Orca Island

This was a beautiful property that was very well cleaned and kept and had great amenities like a hot tub and grill. The our door space is really nice to have dinners and breakfast on and is centrally located in the town and the island overall so it is easy to get to every where that is needed.

Perfect place to experience beauty, peace, and adventure

The Yellow Door is a perfect place to experience the beauty, peace, and adventure of Orcas Island. The location is ideally located near the shops and excellent restaurants of Eastsound while separate from any busyness. We loved walking to and around the town. And the accommodations themselves are top notch—clean, very comfortable and well-appointed. Kristen was a very responsive host and the hot tub really puts this place over the top. Can’t wait to go back!

Great place to stay in Eastsound

My family of four had a fantastic time at the yellow door house. Very clean and well provisioned, even had a few welcome gifts that were very thoughtful and appreciated. The location is perfect, on the edge of downtown and so we walked everywhere we went in town. It's also centrally located on the island so driving to Moran and other areas is very easy to do. Highly recommend and can't wait to try and return!

Vacation with my sister

This place was beyond amazing location was absolutely perfect as you could walk to everything in south sound and home was so fresh and new and so many special touches such as a gift card for bread at a local bakery and a jar of jam to go with it So yummy. Such a treat Our stay here made our a vacation so special. Loved this place. We will definitely stay here again. Laurie

Lovely home

This property is wonderful. It looked even better in person than in the photos. It was very thoughtfully appointed. Everything from cooking utensils, pots and pans, a selection of teas, charging stations for multiple devices, games, books, comfortable beds and linens, to the shampoo and soaps, were provided.Communication with the property manager was great. During my stay, the island had a blackout. I was sent an email from Kristen with a copy of the notice that there would be no electricity for a certain period of time. Kristen answered my questions immediately and let me know where to find flashlights and batteries if needed. This property is walkable to restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, and boutiques. Finding my way around the island was easy, and there were many activities available in the area.My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay at the yellow door.

Excellent stay!

Loved our stay at The Yellow Door. This was our first visit to Orcas Island and definitely won't be the last. The location is perfect and amenities/accomodations are exactly as described. Great spot for families or for a small group of friends. Accessing the home was easy with self check-in and Kristin was an excellent host. An extra nice touch was a welcome gift of local jam from Girl Meets Dirt and gift card to Orcas Bakery. Looking forward to staying here again!

This house was a perfect home base for our family. The location is easy walking distance to everything in Eastsound including great coffee, restaurants, grocery store, ice cream, and a fun playground! We would definitely stay again!

Cozy house close to restaurants and shopping

Great location and the hot tub was amazing after a day of hiking. Fit my family of 4 perfectly. Just wish there was a coffee table for puzzling and gaming, so meals could also be eaten at kitchen table.

Lovely space and helpful host

The space was perfect- felt like a model home, with everything one needs along with a pretty interior, and many thoughts of comfort (sheets/blankets/couch). Hot-tub was great though not very private but was delightful- and brand new. The host was helpful and pleasant and very responsive.
