Beautiful views and place to stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perched right at the top of a cliff, this rental offers breathtaking, unobstructed ocean views. The pristine, uncrowded beach is literally just steps away. The unit itself was impeccably clean, beautifully updated, and exceptionally well-stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Even better, it's within easy walking distance of fantastic local restaurants. We've actually been using this property management company for over 20 years, and they continue to be wonderful—always friendly, responsive, and a true pleasure to work with. Highly recommend!

Bird dropping on the lounge chair. All and all well below average at a premium price

Beautiful location overlooking the beach.

Delightful and relaxing condo, right on the cliffs at Solana Beach, with easy access down to the sand. Beautifully remodeled and very comfortable. Amazing views and incredible sunsets. We would visit again!

Wonderful Month at the Beach!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Aqua Horizon was the perfect beach condo for our month-long stay. It was very clean, well-equipped, larger than expected and the location can't be beat. Despite the very warm weather, the provided fans were more than adequate to keep us comfortable. The entire property is well-kept; grounds are maintained, the pool was large and protected from the coastal breeze, tennis courts are beautiful and we even reserved the amazing oceanfront conference/gathering room for a small family reunion. The beach is easily accessible from the nearby stairway (116 steps so maybe not so 'easily').You can walk to many restaurants and shops, with great access to Cedros Ave as well. We enjoyed Mia's, Rare Society, and of course Claire's for breakfast.This was our second rental experience with Stubbs Vacation Rental and we couldn't be happier with their service. They are now our go-to for excellent properties in the area. Highly recommend Aqua Horizon and Solana Beach and Tennis Club!

Location was perfect to relax and recharge. Make sure to check-in and find your way during the day. There are stairs and can be tricky in the dark.

Excellent Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My son and I stayed here for two weeks over the July 4th holiday. It was perfect for us. The beach down the steps from the unit was beautiful. We explored other beaches in the area a few days but then just stayed right there. So easy. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and a short drive to Encinitas and more excellent options. We didn't need much but STUBBS staff was responsive and efficient when needed. A wonderful experience and unit. New appliances and recent upgrades were obvious. So clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here or any other unit at SBTC again.

Beautiful condo, location, and views

Reviewer Comments: My husband and I have rented many beautiful condos and stayed in so many great locations and this rental is at the top of our list !The communication with the property managers was fantastic! The condo was stocked with everything you would need from extra bedding ,to blowup mattresses, board games, a fully stocked kitchen , and so much more. The community itself was charming and my teens found plenty to do while not at the beach or touring Solana. The sunset over the pacific was spectacular!so many great bars and restaurants to walk to and an easy drive to San Diego lajolla and Delmar.We absolutely loved our stay on Solana Beach!

Reviewer Comments: Starting from check-in, extra paperwork to sign, had to pick up keys from the R.E. office..(understaffed) Large complex, subterranean parking, quite a distance from garage, to elevator to unit! Overall, the unit was sufficient, no ice maker in frig🙃, ( 1 SMALL ice cube tray) phone calls would not connect from inside unit only text messages.. Had been looking forward to the beach and especially the view from the unit... unfortunately you can’t really see the beach from inside.. and we never ventured down the steep steps to the beach😎 these were a few of the drawbacks for us..we are seniors, but overall.. enjoyed our stay.
