Owner never responded when we asked for lockbox info about 1 hr away from property. We drove from AZ with 2 kids and were stuck outside waiting for a response. Ended up getting ahold of Vrbo and they refunded us. It’s not about the money but the frustration of not communicating. Wouldn’t recommend

Land is a premium

The property manager was awesome. They let us in a few hours early. Beds were amazing. Property was one of three apartments in a house. We were on the ground floor. Patio was “private” with another right next to us and another right above, so no private conversations. Book the top floor. Lots of kids since this is on the bay side so we heard tons of footsteps. Internet was slow with all the folks online I guess. The host was great and Mission is just super dense with property and people all wanting to enjoy the beach.

Great rental on the Bay!

House was in a great location, clean and worked out perfect for us! Note: that it is only a 1.5 bath not a 2 bath so we did have to share the shower. Communication was great. We really enjoyed our stay there! Would book again!

Sweetest Bay front stay!

Easy, quick communication with the property manager. Getting to the house was easy. Getting in through the gate was a bit tight, so if you have bulky items it may be easier to check-in through the side door and then open the patio and bring larger items in that way. Overall the house was great - 4 stars for the amount of sand left in the shower and on the floor just outside the shower. BUT this place is right on the beach - so just know, there will be sand! (A plus for us). We were able to be on Mission Beach in just a few moments, and walked the strip down to where there are places to hang out, eat, and play on the sand or grass - absolutely stunning! The location could not be better. It was quiet at night, peaceful in the morning & the views were phenomenal! Would stay again :) that way mo

Great location and unit

The unit had everything we needed for our weeklong stay over the holidays. Located right on the beach on the bay side in Mission Bay it is a great location. We had some minor issues but the owner shared his phone number and was very responsive and addressed everything promptly. There are two details the listing didn’t make clear. The unit has 1.5 baths not 2 full bathrooms and the washer/dryer is at the condo property but not in the unit. Not a big deal. I would note the parking spot is perfect for a compact car and if you have a large SUV, you should speak with the owner about whether it will fit. Again, the 2 bedroom unit had what we needed and the location is on a nice walking path, within walk to Belmont Park and some restaurants in the area. Mission Bay has lots of great shops and restaurants so this was a good home base to get to eateries, Sea World, La Jolla, and all the sites.

Winter vacation

We loved staying here. This place was comfortable for my family, close to lots of places to go do fun things. We would definitely recommend. Thank you for sharing your place with us.
