Welcome to our modern beach studio condo, ideally located in the gorgeous beach town of Mission Beach, San Diego, just steps away from the sand and boardwalk. This delightful vacation home offers a fun and relaxing retreat, perfect for those seeking beachside bliss. Enjoy the convenience of being close to wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, while also having the famous Belmont Park, with its thrilling rides and entertainment, just 1/4 mile south. Embrace the coastal ambiance, make memories on the sun-kissed shores of Mission Beach, and indulge in all the best restaurants and entertainment at one of San Diego's premier tourist destinations.

Inside the condo:
Welcome to our cozy studio condo, Discover the comfort of our well-appointed studio, featuring a plush queen-size bed, a versatile full-size futon bed, and an additional twin blow-up mattress for added flexibility. Enjoy the convenience of a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for preparing delicious meals, and a full bathroom to cater to all your needs during your stay. Step outside to the shared outdoor BBQ and patio area, where you can savor outdoor meals and make lasting memories in a charming setting. It's ESSENTIAL to note THERE IS NO AC. While AC is not needed most of the time, occasionally, it does get hot. For these times, we do have a small portable air-conditioning unit that can be used to help cool the air down.

Parking:
Please note that our property does not offer onsite parking. Guests are encouraged to park on Mission Blvd, but they should be mindful not to park in designated areas during street sweeping times. Additionally, we want to inform our guests that most public parking lots in Mission Beach do not permit overnight parking, and any vehicles parked illegally are subject to towing, with fines and towing fees being the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Parking can be particularly challenging during peak seasons such as summer, spring break, and holidays. While we do not provide onsite parking, street parking is available, and guests can utilize the parking at Belmont Park, though please be aware that overnight parking is not allowed in the Belmont Park parking lot. There is overnight parking located in the lot across from Belmont Park on the bayside. However, for added convenience, we do offer a parking spot just a block away from the unit, available for an additional charge. If you are interested in securing this parking spot, kindly let us know in advance, and we'll be happy to arrange it for you, but it is on a first come first serve basis so it could be occupied.

We were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. When we arrived, the unit hadn’t been cleaned, but the host responded immediately and moved us to a different one for the night. She assured us the original unit would be cleaned and ready the next morning.When we returned, the space smelled fresh and looked great—but sadly, we discovered a termite issue. It was an unexpected and disappointing situation, but the host handled it with so much professionalism and kindness. She was sincerely apologetic, gave us a full refund, and even followed up afterward to make sure we found new accommodations for the night.While we were saddened by the events, we truly loved the host. She did everything she could to make things right, and that meant a lot to us. Sometimes things happen that are out of anyone’s control, and we really appreciated how gracefully she handled it.

The 4 stars mainly for the location. Property is new and modern. I must say the studio would be good for 1 to 2 people. No dining table, only a tall small table for 2 with w high chairs. The queen bed is comfy but tugged snuggly at a corner, meaning if the person who sleeps inside against the wall have to climb over the other person to get off bed. No night stand.No closet or hangers Only one small towel bar by the sink, nothing to hang bath towel. Interesting thing is there are over 30 recessive lights of this small place. A jet tub. The location is unbeatable. Again short stay (2-3days) for less than 3 ppl works well.

What a neat and tidy little place! The location was superb for access to virtually everything we needed by a short walk. Hardest thing for the kids was deciding on wethe to ride the the coasters at Belmont or play on the beach. We reserved the optional parking spot which wed advise for the next group! Thanks Nichole

Awesome place

We stayed here for a few nights in janurary and it was perfect. No one around really and a good place to relqx with the grills and patio area right on mission beach, it was perfect!

Nice change of view.

This is our first trip to the west coast. It was a simple get away the family (me, my wife and our dog). We enjoyed the relaxing weekend. A very nice beach we would come back to.

Beyond underwhelming, would not recommend.

Though the description states there is no A/C but a portable unit is available, be advised that the portable unit constantly tripped the breaker. There was no hot water throughout our stay no matter how many time we attempted to reset the water tank. Luckily it was a quick trip. The beds left much to be desired and were incredibly uncomfortable, even for my kids! The TV is mounted in an awful manner which make it difficult to watch, While the unit is RIGHT NEXT to the ocean (the only bonus) the unit itself is dated, the front door does not provide a sense of safety whatsoever, parking was a nightmare. Overall a terrible experience.

Overall Stay

The stay was wonderful. Only issues we had was 1) the hot water was hard to work. Had to get the Maintenance Guy, Arney to help…. He was so great!!! 2) we ended up parking in the Belmont Beach parking lot and they DID tow the truck… 3 Ubers later, we were able to get the truck after 460.00 later. The towing IS NO JOKE!! We would stay here again. Response from the Property management was within a good response and was able to help

Stay by the beach

I’d say kudos to the photographer because when you first view the property, there are two chairs on the balcony looking out toward the ocean and that had nothing to do with the unit we were given there needs to be some maintenance work done on the property the shower handle fell off the air mattress had a leak, and I didn’t see any way to hook up an air conditioner, though we didn’t need one. So, I believe that the leasing group will reach all their financial goals, but they might wanna meet up and take a look at the emotional side of renting property to humans but that boardwalk was exceptional being that close to the ocean was exceptional and we appreciate you allowing us to spend time in your Property

Family time

We had the best time celebrating my 7 year olds birthday. We were close to Lego Land, the beach, roller coaster, restaurants and so much more. This cute place was the perfect stay all around, especially after a fun filled day. The bed is so comfy and so was the futon! I can't wait to come back.

Great location. Disappointing unit

Disappointing condo for how awesome the location is. This place is right on the beach just like it shows. The parking is as described. We parked across from Belmont park every day as that is literally the only overnight parking that you can find and on weekends even that is a mess. The unit has no A/C which is also listed in the description, but the roll around unit provided continually pops the breakers. Over and over and over again. The electricity in this place is sub par. There is a small leak under the sink, and someone installed a toe kick under the dishwasher so the door doesn’t open all of the way unless you force it. The water heater needs to be reset every single time. Everytime not just occasionally. This is really fun when you are the only one at the unit and the water gets cold. The pictures are out of date. There is a washer and dryer in the unit but it doesn’t work. The owner says they don’t advertise for one, but the pictures show it so it was easy to think that they had one, but they don’t. Usually we could manage, but four towels, one hand towel, and one wash cloth for five nights is unacceptable. The unit sleeps four, but we had to use a decorative pillow to have enough for everyone. We had to buy a sponge to do the dishes and they only had two tabs to run the dishwasher for five days. We cook a lot and maybe others don’t. The bbq grills outside are great. Again the location is amazing. Belmont park is a very clean traditional boardwalk and is right there.

Good location but...

Giving 2 stars. Great location. Very close to the beach. However, the lack of hot water, broken appliances, lackluster door and poor tv position is just too much. Just felt kinda shabby.

Great location, crap management

We are Vrbo hopping up the coast and this place was our first stay. Right when we arrived we had issues with our paid parking space but the issue wasn’t the rentals fault. But the response was a whatever response and we had to call the tow company and deal with it ourselves. Since there was no one around to assist. So that sucked. But what the worst was the countless annoying things that made our stay more effort than it should have been. Folks, the shower was a nightmare. It took several minutes to run/waste water for 3-5 mins for the hot to come on. Only to have it finally come on then fade away just as slowly as it came on. Everyday we had to deal with this…annoying. We were left with literally 1 roll of TP for 4 days and I asked about where there might be extra. They had no more, but I could go and get more and they’d pay me back. I got no time for this rookie crap, I’m busy and I don’t shop for hosts. I thought I paid for basic amenities like TP, and a few had towels, maybe a sponge to do the dishes with. Idk, since they have hard fast rules that come with this renal, you’d think they would match those restrictions with excellent accommodations. But no. Then there were the normal things that beach condos have, like a rinse off shower or spigot to rinse off sandy feet. But this place had nothing like that. They had broken gates, locked recycle dumpster next to the garbage dumpster. So it’s quite clear no F’s were given about the environment or the guests

Mission Beach studio on boardwalk

Clean, awesome entrance doors, amazing bathroom- which included a shower with steam and bath tub that was basically a hot tub. I would recommend this studio to everyone I know.

The boardwalk is a fun place to walk, run, roller blade, ride bikes, etc. Mission Beach is San Diego’s take on the classic California beach town, which offers miles of oceanfront boardwalk, local shops and eateries, and is the perfect spot for surfing, bike riding, beach volleyball, and other outdoor activities. There is truly something for everyone in this cozy beach community.
Mission beach is also home to Belmont Park, San Diego’s only beachfront amusement and entertainment center, which features an arcade, miniature golf, a roller coaster, and much more. Belmont Park is the quintessential Southern California beach experience. Take a stroll through the park and grab a Monster Waffle Cone then check out all the action on the Boardwalk.
