The Kitchen opens onto a large private patio and garden complete with garden furniture and a Gas BBQ.

• The additional sitting room is available if you want to relax and soak in stunning sea and mountain views from this bright and inviting space.

• Utility Room: Includes a washing machine, tumble dryer, extra fridge/freezer, iron/ironing board, filtered fresh spring water dispenser, and a Sage barista coffee touch bean machine for your convenience.

On arrival, I can meet you at the house or if you arrive late, I will leave a key in the locked security box by the front door. I am available to answer any questions while you stay.

Burkes Activity Centre is only a 5 min. drive away. There is a wide range of activities which include Horse Trekking, Horse riding on the beach.

Glenbeigh and its surrounding areas offer a wide variety of walking routes from quiet country roads to coastal areas to The Kerry Way and the ascent of Ireland's highest mountain, Carrauntoohil. Perched high above Caragh Lake lies the natrally beautiful district of Glencar which is a popilar section of the Kerry Way Walking Route. It also offers some of the most picturesque picnic areas imaginable.

A Special Stay for a Special Occasion

We stayed at Castle View House for a family wedding nearby, and it was truly the perfect home away from home for the occasion. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warmth, comfort, and stunning beauty of the surroundings.

The house itself is spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully presented — every room felt thoughtfully prepared with high-quality touches that made it feel extra special. The views are nothing short of breath taking, with a picture-perfect panorama of the castle ruins and sea that added a magical backdrop to our weekend.

It was the ideal base for our extended family ,plenty of room for everyone to relax, gather, and get ready for the celebrations. We especially loved the peaceful mornings with coffee outside, and the calm after the festivities each evening.

The location was brilliant — close to Rossbeigh Beach, Glenbeigh village, and convenient for all the wedding venues. Our host was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed and more.

Castle View House made an unforgettable weekend even more memorable. We’d return in a heartbeat — whether for another special occasion or simply to unwind in one of the most beautiful corners of Kerry.
