Our single story villa in Harbour View is just moments from Jolly Harbour and the beach!

There are 2 King-size beds both with en-suites, 2 twin rooms, and a family shower-room. Whilst all rooms also have ceiling fans, there is also central A/C, cable TV, & Wi-Fi. The fully kitted kitchen has dishwasher, American-sized fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster & ample cooking utensils and pans, with the washing machine in a separate utility room.

The villa is fully furnished, with towels/linens provided, and a weekly maid service, which can be as frequent as daily if required. Outdoors, the property benefits from having its own private pool and sundeck, with 2 areas of comfotable seating, dining furniture, sun loungers, and a gas barbecue.

The nearest supermarket, selling an extensive range of western food, is a 5-minute walk, as are all of the facilities of Jolly Harbour. The nearest beach is a 10 minute walk.

If you choose to have our local property manager arrange your airport transfers, you will be met on arrival at the airport at St. Johns, an approximate 25-minute journey by road, with a welcome pack waiting for you on arrival

The villa is exactly as described. Everything was very clean and communication with Roxann was excellent. Location of the villa is close to everything. We did rent golf carts to get around Jolly Harbor which is the way to go. Would highly recommend renting this villa

The house was in the perfect location and more than enough size for my family of 4. We enjoyed the pool, the walk to Jolly Harbour beach and supermarket. The deck is large with plenty of seating areas. Outdoor grill was also great and kitchen well stocked. Also 5 minute drive to some of the best beaches -- Ffryes and valley church took almost no time. And you can walk to plenty of restaurants.

Fantastic holiday villa in Harbour View Estate

Milk & Honey is a wonderful villa, perfect for our holiday over the Easter break. It is in a great location, within walking distance to shops, restaurants and beach, although we did hire a car to visit other parts of the island. The villa itself is very well equipped and you can tell it is used by the family who own it also and not just holiday guests. Beds are comfortable and rooms are spacious. The pool is shallow and would be great for small children, and gives the adults a chance for a dip to cool off too. We really enjoyed our stay at Milk & Honey and will be returning as soon as we can. Thankyou for sharing your home with us.

Great place, location

Great place. Well equipped in just about every way. Only one complaint: primary king is extremely uncortable. Listing does say cable/Sat channels but they must have dropped the subscription because there was none. Not the worst thing while in the Caribbean, but if you are in for a night or working from home during the day you might wish to know this. Overall, great place.

Milk and Honey is Cream of the Crop!

What a great villa! With Caribbean vibe- We are 3 adults that have holidayed in villas in Europe and the Caribbean for winter and summer sunshine.What do we look for? A private pool is top priority, followed by at least two en-suite bedrooms, well equipped – a view and bars and restaurants within walking distance.However, that usually involves a hill and a few stops on the way back from the restaurant to catch our breath – NOT HERE!!Milk & Honey is an easy ten-minute walk from the beach, a good supermarket and a choice of bars and restaurants – yes the road is not smooth tarmac the whole way – but we are all in our seventies and had no trouble – the villa even supplies two torches!Well equipped – comfy beds – huge fridge – great seating areas for eating and sundowners – including a sunset view. Plentiful sunbeds and a gas BBQ.The star of the show however, is Phil – the host! What a star. Quick and communicative, we had great local info sent to us on booking – he kept in touch and answered any query by return. Absolutely 5 *****Antigua was lovely, good beaches – we took the local bus! – an adventure in itself, very friendly. Great food at Miracles and Fox house especially, an island tour with Terry was fun and informative, we bought supplies from local stalls and the supermarket – sometimes what you wanted wasn’t there – but it was the next day.But what a joy – to return to our own Milk & Honey, relax by the pool with excellent local rum!

Check-in Woes

We traveled to Antigua at end of July and while the property itself is nice, we had check-in issues. We brought the check-in issue to the attention of the owner, who took absolutely zero accountability, no apologies and blamed us. When we booked the property in December 2023, we were sent a checkin email. However, we were also advised that 3 days prior to our trip, we would get our specific checkin details (which we did). Most people would think this last email trumps all previous so we followed it. It had a contact person to call upon our arrival and said to call him from the airport so that he can meet us at the property with the keys. We arrived around 3 pm and kept calling with no answer. We found a place to eat while we waited to make contact but no one ever answered. Hours later that evening, we did finally get into the property after getting a message from someone different, at a different property management company.The issue was that the contact info sent in the email we were sent was incorrect. An acknowledgement of the error and apology from the owner would have been nice but instead, he completely ignored the last email sent with incorrect info and kept going back to the email sent months ago in December 2023 and said had we followed that, we would have had no issues. We found that unacceptable as why would we not follow the details in the last email email sent.

Our stay at Milk & Honey was lovely. There was plenty of space for our delegation for the conference we attended. The pool was a reprieve after long days. Grocery stores and restaurants in walking distance. Responsive communication.

Milk & Honey was a Wonderful place to stay - would definitely recommend.

We had 8 people stay and we had lots of room.. we very much enjoyed the pool and the location was perfect... we were in walking distance to the restaurants/stores and Jolly Harbour beach. We could easily walk and when going into st johns the bus system was very easy to use. I hope we get a chance to return one day.

We actually came here 8 years ago and this was a return visit to celebrate two birthdays in a big family group. The Villa is ideally situated near lovely beaches, shops and restaurants and is comprehensively equipped with everything you could need. The pool is clean and a good size. The whole set up was perfect for our holiday purpose and we can highly recommend it.

Amazing Holiday

Perfect size villa for the 8 of us, beautiful pool area and comfy loungers. Excellent location only five minutes walk to the supermarket and restaurants in Jolly Harbour. Stacey-Ann was extremely efficient with all our queries and help when we needed. The maid service was excellent, we had been out for the day and when we returned the villa was spotless and she had even emptied the dishwasher for us. I have never stayed at a villa where the host has been so informative and helpful. Phil replied to all my emails and questions, emailed us the welcome pack before we arrived so we could plan our stay and familiarise ourselves. Also was extremely kind in allowing us a late check out as we had a very late flight back to the UK.

Sweetness of Milk & Honey

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Villa! The property management met us on arrival and gave us a tour and were focused on making our stay relaxing. Absolute properties also arranged for our transfer to and from the property which was very helpful.They also arranged for delivery and pick up of a rental car. They recommended that we not drink water from the mains and buy bottled water from the grocery. We were glad we had a rental car to make our water and wine runs. The Villa was perfect for our needs, clean and very well equipped with cooking and cleaning essentials. A nice addition would have been a digital thermometer to check meat temp on the grill. We were impressed by the selection of items at the nearby grocery store and made numerous trips. We enjoyed many of the Jolly Harbour restaurants that were within minutes of the Villa. Sunset at Dennis’s(about a 5 min drive) was terrific. We used the spotless outdoor grill for a number of meals. We used the pool daily to cool off and relax. The pool was the perfect temperature. The neighborhood was fairly quiet even with the nearby restaurant/bar night life. We travel with our “white-noise” so we didn’t notice any noise at night. We saw very few mosquitoes at dusk but that didn’t stop us from being outdoors. We found the beds comfortable and air conditioning worked great. We just wished we’d stayed longer! Definitely like to return in the future.

Second time Around

This is the second time my family has stayed here. This time it was 6 of us, last time it was 8. Once again we had a wonderful stay. The Villa is as described and the amenities are great. We enjoyed the pool, and we were able to cook food as needed. You had everything we needed for the beach. I would recommend this Villa to anyone. If I get the chance to come back to Antigua I'll be looking for Milk & Honey first. Thanks for everything.

Great property

We stayed for 8 days and were very pleased with our stay. Locally the property owner had contacts to help with any issues we had, and the property was as described. It had plenty of comforts of home, nice beach chairs, shovel for the beach etc. we loved our stay!

Perfect stay

Excellent property with everything you need. Market is near by, you can stock up your groceries. The pool was really nice when coming back after a beach day 100% I recommend staying at Milk and Honey

Lovely Antigua

We stayed at Milk and Honey Villa for 28 days. We soaked up sunshine on the huge deck, which gave all of us pur own private area if we so desired. The house was large and very liveable. Bring bug spray!!! The bugs loved our sweet blood! The AC and the screens on the windows were a huge help with these little creatures. Interestingly it rained every day except for 2 that we were on the Island. People of Antigua are so friendly and helpful.

Privacy in the sun!

Our family with grown children loved our stay. Easy walk to eat, buy groceries or go to the beach. Very private location. Rooms well appointed. You need to buy essentials like TP or Kleenex etc. but other than that everything you need is provided. Tons of room!

Just the place for a relaxing caribbean experience

This was our first visit to Antigua and we had a wonderful time. We try to book properties that the owner says they regularly visit because we find them better kitted out, and this was certainly the case at Milk and Honey: the villa was very well equipped. It has to be said we didn’t do much cooking because of the great selection of local bars and restaurants in and around Jolly Harbour, ie walking distance, to try. As we saw other parts of the island, we realised how lucky we were to be only a 5 min walk away – even less in the golf buggy we hired - from a huge supermarket with ATMs. Beaches, including the local one at Jolly Harbour, were all pristine – just as in the postcards. Although we did enjoy sea-swimming and snorkelling, it was great to get home from the beach and cool off with a swim in the villa’s pool too. Would definitely recommend this property.

Really great stay!

This was a perfect place for me and my 3 girlfriends! The villa was clean, spacious (we could each have our own room) and well-equipped, and we loved the pool - big enough to do a few lengths ( to work off the cocktails!) with comfy loungers to relax on. There's a selection of bars and eateries at one end of the road, and it's an easy stroll to the other end, for the supermarket, a further selection of lovely restaurants and the gorgeous Jolly Beach. What more could we have wanted?! Definitely recommend!

Overall we were very happy with the property, it is large, well equipped and very clean, however, the location was not good if you have medical issues such as knee issues since the journey up and down to visit the grocery store or beach on the gravel road did not help with the pain. The hire of golf cart would not have have been very easy to maneuver. The pool was not swimmable since it was very shallow but good for cooling down and floating on . The outside of the house is lovely and well maintained. We had an issue with no hot water one day due to a fuse going off but since we were attending a wedding event the first person who came was unable to resolve it and unfortunately it was not repaired in a timely manner but was resolved by end of the day.

We currently live in the UK, having spent a career mostly working and living overseas. We bought this property in 2008 to provide a vacation home for ourselves and our daughters, and to provide an extended vacation home during retirement.

The property comprises 1600 square feet internally, a 300 square foot sun verandha overlooking the 11 metre pool, which is contained within a timber deck area.
With 1600 square feet of internal living area, the property is ideal for extended vacations. It is configured to enable two families of four to share identical bedrooms, ie, with two master bedrooms, both with kingsize beds, ensuites, and wardrobes, dressers. Similarly there are two identical twin rooms, which share a shower room. It is therefore ideal for two families of four to share a vacation.
The property is fully equipped to facilitate self catering, with Denby crockery, Diners cutlery, and Circulon pans. It has all the necessary facilities, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave, plus other kitchen items such as blender, coffee maker, and more than adequate kitchen utensils to make self catering a pleasure, rather than a chore!
Of course, if self catering is not your thing, then you are a five minute walk from the nearest restaurants.
The lounge is furnished to be comfortable, with a leather sofa set.

The property is located on a short concrete surfaced road, off the main road entrance to Jolly Harbour and overlooks a freshwater lake, with breeding birds, and feeding pelicans. It is quiet, and removed from the hustle and bustle of Jolly Harbour, but is only a 5 minute walk away from the Jolly Harbour supermarket, restaurants etc.
