With its elevated location, feel the cool trade winds flow through the Villa as you enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views that stretch across Jolly Harbour and to the islands beyond: Montserrat, Nevis, St. Kitts, and Redonda sit on the horizon like jewels in the glistening sea. To the east lie the unspoiled forested hills and valleys of Antigua’s striking coastal highlands.

The stone-finished pool is the centerpiece of Villa Sunset, which is surround by natural tones contrasted with rich dark woods, contemporary styles and Caribbean flair. The Villa boasts three equally spacious private suites that have been decorated magnificently, each with spectacular views of the ocean. Each bedroom has their very own luxurious limestone bathroom double vanity bathroom with spa-like full body showers.

The gorgeous airy and open living area is equipped with state of the art technology and amenities. The designer kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and a breakfast bar. The indoor living area leads out to the verandas, which offers comfortable shaded seating to take in the fabulous views or catch some Caribbean rays in any of the four sun loungers lining the refreshing infinity pool. Wonderful stay

Had a great stay at Villa Sunset. The property and views are incredible. Great communication with Marc and the property management. We had an unexpected weather event on our end that delayed our arrival and they were very accommodating. Much appreciated! We would definitely stay again

AMAZING view and villa!

We enjoyed the villa so much we didn’t want to leave to go to the beach! We loved the infinity pool, bbq, and indoor/outdoor concept of this beautiful, well appointed villa nestled into the mountainside. We couldn’t get enough of the view and will be returning!

A Perfect Vacation

Villa Sunset lived up to all our expectations, and then some! The villa itself is beautifully appointed and all ameneties, fixtures and fittings are a very high standard. And the there is THAT view, which when you sit on the veranda with a cold drink and enjoy the sunset then that is when you realise just how spectacularly placed you are!

Amazing Villa

Sunset Villa was amazing, the views, the amenities, and most importantly the location. Shopping and restaurants within a mile not to mention some of the most beautiful beaches within a five minute drive. As mentioned in other reviews, it is way more beautiful in person, The pictures do not reflect the beautiful views you will experience in person.

Absolutely beautiful property

Just wanted to provide feedback that we had an absolutely lovely time at Villa Sunset. The property was exactly as described...beautiful home with all of the accoutrements anyone could ask for. The kitchen was fully stocked and the bedrooms were all lovely and wonderfully air conditioned. The pool was divine... What is however impossible to put into words is the view. Breathtaking is the only way to describe. All of this in combination with the lovely property owner Marc... made our stay perfect. Thanks again !

A little slice of Heaven

Sunset Villa is definitely the best VRBO our family has ever stayed! Everything was was 5 star-- from the home's furnishings to the outstanding view we looked out upon every morning while drinking our coffee to the mesmerizing sunsets every evening. The communication with the owner was excellent and his villa management team was responsive to our asks/needs while we were there the entire 2 weeks. Can't say enough about Sunset Villa- hope to return again in the future!!

Took my breath away!!!

This is by far the best vacation villa I have ever stayed at. The views were absolutely amazing. Every morning woke up to a beautiful sunrise and every night watched a beautiful sunset. The villa was furnished beautifully. Amazing outdoor space. Very spacious inside. Will definitely book this villa again! Thank you so much for letting our family stay at your breath taking villa!

Still the best!

This was our second time staying at the Garvey's place and it was even better than last time! We could have never left the place and stared at the view all day, every day, it's just that beautiful. Antigua is now our favorite place to visit and it's largely because of this place. It's in the perfect location that gives you a great store right near by, the best beaches to visit on the island are near here, as well as the best restaurants. We hope to return as soon as possible!

Have you ever awoken to a double rainbow right outside your window? We did!

This property is spectacular in every way. The pictures of the house and the views are spot on but pale as to the true beauty of the home and surrounding area. The house is luxurious and provides an inviting and comfortable setting for a perfect vacation. The house is well located.. minutes from Jolly Harbour and surrounding (incredible) beaches, resturants. All interaction with owners and property staff was prompt, thorough and courteous.

Perfect Family Vacation Get-Away

Jolly Harbor is a great place to stay in Antigua, and Villa Sunset is an ideal vacation home. The views were beautiful, and the Villa is well-designed with three private rooms, perfect for a family with adult-age children. The outdoor patios were great for relaxing, and the infinity pool was a crowd favorite. The host and the management staff were very friendly and responsive. The only suggestion we have for visitors is that you may want to forego the rental car and hire taxis during your stay. They are quite reasonable, and it's a lot more fun to let the locals navigate the roads while you enjoy the scenery!

A week in paradise

Villa sunset is just as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. The house is set up with every necessary amenity and the view from the pool area is genuinely rather spectacular at all times of day. We loved the fact that all bedrooms and en suites are just as spacious as each other so no guest feels like they’re loosing out. Marc was an amazing contact to have, he helped with everything we asked / raised professionally and quickly. Thank you for everything!

Pretty much the best!

We stay at a lot of VRBO's and this was the best. The pictures which are so great here don't even do it justice. Biggest problem - you'll never want to leave the house! Everything is extremely well and tastefully appointed. The staff at Villa Management including Pascale and Bancroft were exceptional from our first interaction to our last. Hope so much to be able to come back soon!

Amazing memories:)

We stayed at “ Villa Sunset” end of March 2019 for a week and couldn’t be happier with our choice! This stunning villa is perfectly built to have a million dollar view of the sunset , Jolly Harbour and marina and of course the beautiful tortoise water! This stunning villa with its tranquil negative edge pool is fully stocked with anything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff managing the villa were available for initial orientation and any questions we had after. We loved our stay and will go back in the future!

From the booking, to the management company, to the first look and tour of the property we give everything 5+++stars. Beautiful home with gorgeous views!! Superb- Third Time is a charm

This was our third visit to Villa Sunset and we had such a nice time. The villa is so well equipped, so relaxing and on a great part of the island. We have enjoyed each visit and this one was definitely the best. . the owners are awesome and have strived to provide a home away from home type stay for all of their guests. The home is in a very convenient location and the views are so amazing. There is a grocery store right around the corner, and some great restaurants too. Our faves included the seclusion of the beach Hermitage Bay and the food and service at Jacqui O's. Don't miss at Sunset dinner at Carmichael's. Choose Villa Sunset for your next Antiguan vacation and you won't be disappointed.

Gorgeous house! Gorgeous views! Incredibly responsive host! What more could you ask for?

First of all, the photos on the listing for Villa Sunset are accurate. The house & views are as beautiful as in the listing.Marc & his property mgmt company are incredibly responsive. I sent Marc several emails before our stay & usually had a response within an hour. We made a few requests of the property mgmt - all were satisfied within a few hours. I will say that, if at least one of your party doesn't have a SIM that allows phone calls in Antigua, be sure to download WhatsApp to your phone to communicate with the property manager.Six of us rented the house, so we used all bedrooms. The beds were all very comfortable & there was plenty of space to stash away our belongings: full dressers and closets with enough hangers for 2 people for a week.All the furnishings & decor are luxurious. The house is 1000% the best equipped rental any of us had ever been in. Blender, coffee maker & GRINDER, washer / dryer (no soap), snorkel gear, beach chairs, GOLF CLUBS, nice grill, 110 outlets - so no adapters, portable playpen if you need it. They've thought of everything. Whole house cleaning twice during our 8 day stay. Close to grocery & restaurants. (Our favorites were OJ's and Fox House.)Consider accepting tire insurance on your rental. Roads are terrible.I'd have written a much more flowery review but VRBO limits to 1,500 chars. All I can say is you will love your time here. You'll feel very pampered!

Spectacular Views!

We just came back from a stay at Villa Sunset. This is a beautiful house. Loved the 3 separate master bedrooms each with there own bathroom. The beds were very comfortable. The view was absolutely gorgeous, hard to capture how beautiful it is in pictures. Owner Marc is very accommodating. You will probably want a rental car. Restaurants and grocery store are close by but it would be difficult to walk up hill(unless you are in great physical shape, lol) Going down was no problem so you could possibly walk down and taxi back. Definitely one of the nicest rental homes we stayed in! We would not hesitate to rent again.

Paradise

Pictures does not do this place justice. It was everything I never knew I needed and more. It was well equipped and stocked and very clean. There was a cleaner who came by mid stay and cleaned. It is in an ideal location that is quiet and nestled in the hills. All the rooms have picturesque views. It was amazing to see the sun rise and set everyday. I drank wine and relaxed by the infinity pool daily. The hosts were able to facilitate a private dinner for my birthday and that in itself was spectacular. I could go on and on about how amazing and unforgettable this Villa is! I look forward to staying here in the future and HIGHLY recommend.

We have been Caribbean lovers since we first took our children there in the early ‘80’s instead of Disneyland. Neither of our children or we have never made it to Disneyland, but we’ve visited just about every island in the beautiful Caribbean. We have been looking the last few years and had narrowed it down to Antigua and one other island. Antigua won hands down! It was the fabulous beaches, the overly friendly Antiguans, the spectacular views, the security of one of the lowest crime rates, the value of the restaurants and handmade purchases, the cleanliness of the island and homely feel of the little towns and villages, the golf courses and the endless activities available…you know where we’re going, we found paradise! A ton of research ensued and endless search for the dream villa ended in Sugar Ridge. Our second trip with in six months we had knew we found home at Villa Sunset and you will too. Certainly the best and most spectacular views of any villa we inspected!

One of the best points of it all is location, location, and location. Jolly Harbor has it all and it’s at the bottom of the hill. We have stayed in different areas of the island and by far Jolly Harbor takes the cake. Beaches, restaurants, endless water sports, grocery and liquor stores, banks, rental cars, cafes, and nightlife are only a minute away.

Sugar Ridge is a luxury boutique hotel which you may use, but most guests do not. You wouldn’t know its down the hill from Sunset, 5-minute walk or 2-minute drive away make for convenience and ease during your vacation. Security 24 hours, paved roads and the elegance of it all, especially our Antiguan friends, makes you feel like you’re someone special.
