Beautiful house and location, the hosts were friendly and easy to work with and provided through communication. I think some aspects could have had better maintenence especially the outdoor spaces.

Awesome stay with kids and grandchildren… so much to do at this wonderful property… pool table, ping pong table, hot tub, movie room with recliner chairs with heated massage chairs, electronic pac man game… pool that was accessible to us … wonderful Galena area… beds and and separate bathrooms for everyone were great!! Recommend staying at this property and host was very prompt with responses.

This was a beautiful escape in the Galena territory. Tons of space for family to relax and unwind. Great sleeping options for a whole group of people. The pool table, theater room, sauna, arcade game and ping pong table were great entertainment for the whole family! They also offered the little extras like shampoo, conditioner, laundry and dishwasher pods and had all the the kid items available as well. Would definitely bring back some friends and stay again! Thanks so much for sharing your place with us!

Here is a clean, friendly, and well-structured version written specifically for a VRBO review:⸻ Great Home for a Family Getaway!We had a wonderful stay at this home and truly enjoyed our weekend. The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed to relax and enjoy time with family and friends. It’s a great option for large families or groups — plenty of room to gather, while still offering privacy and space for everyone.A few things to note for future guests:•The outdoor areas could use a bit more attention. The fire pit wasn’t cleaned out, so we weren’t able to use it.•We used the leaf blower to tidy up around the blacktop grill area.•There were a few ladders left around the outside of the home that seemed like a safety concern.Overall, we had a great experience and appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout the property. We would absolutely stay here again!

Ski get away

5 stars! This house was beautiful, very clean, had everything we needed and there was so much room for all 14 of us. The bedrooms were very large. Plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen was updated and very nice. Our kids had a great time in the basement playing pool Watching tv and really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub when they got home from skiing. The owners were very responsive while booking and answering any questions i had and we had no issues with anything while there. Cant wait to go back next year!

Good location, spacious, and the hosts responded quickly. But several issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and safety. The management's resolution was unsatisfactory: they initially offered to refund our cleaning fee due to the state of the home, but retracted the offer after checkout, only refunding half because we chose to clean the space ourselves. Given the large group's late-evening arrival, relocation wasn't feasible. The house was not properly cleaned prior to our arrival. We found used dishes, a sticky kitchen floor, and a disorganized linen closet. The oven contained used aluminum foil covered in burned cheese, and used coffee grounds in the coffee pot. Because we had to live in the space, we purchased our own supplies and recleaned the high-use areas rather than waiting for a crew. We encountered electrical issues. None of the outlets on the kitchen island or in the front game room worked. When it was reported, management asked us to check the breaker panel ourselves; when I expressed concern, they sent an electrician. Two dining room chairs were broken—one with a loose leg and another with a back splitting in two. Hidden Manual & Miscellaneous: * Check-in Procedures: The property manual is hosted on a separate external website rather than embedded in VRBO. Other Issues: Mold inside the basement fridge and beneath the basement sink cabinet; no lids for the cooking pots; the fire pit area overrun with weeds; and unannounced personal deliveries.
