I’ve stayed at 8 houses on BHI and I will likely go back to this beautiful home. The set up was great for my family. The air conditioning and hot water heater work great! We enjoyed the central location and golf cart rides. The host was very attentive to our needs! Can’t wait to go back!!

Beautiful home in a great location on BHI. Kitchen was well equipped, home was clean, beds were very comfortable, and a/c worked great in the summer heat. The screened porch was a favorite spot for morning coffee. Overall one of our favorite homes we’ve stayed in on the island. We did have an issue with the pellet grill but Tyler went above and beyond to resolve it. His communication with me was prompt and his team had the problem solved quickly. He even checked back in several times to make sure everything was working. Would definitely recommend this home and this host to others!

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The management team was incredibly helpful from start to finish, which made everything feel easy and stress-free. The property itself was clean, inviting, and so well cared for. Every single bed (which is rare!) was truly comfortable, making it easy for everyone to get a great night’s sleep.The location was also perfect...super convenient with easy access to the beach, marina, and market. We’ve stayed at quite a few places on BHI over the years, and this one is definitely one of our favorites. We would absolutely come back!

The property was an open floor plan which was great for family gathering. The bedrooms were nice with large comfortable beds. There were 2 golf carts that accommodated the number of people that were in the 4 bedrooms. The host were wonderful and great at communicating.LeNeve

Two weeks in the Maritime Forest

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a wonderful time. The home was in very good condition and the amenities were nice. Brita Filter water pitchers, beach towels, plenty of beach chairs, etc. We have a couple maintenance items but were repaired quickly. Great location on BHI. Close to beach, shops and had plenty of deer visiting the back yard during our stay.

Beautiful house, but we just had bad luck with broken ice maker, broken dishwasher, broken blender, and a rear tire on golf cart that required replacing after leaving several of our guests stranded. Otherwise I would have given a 5 star rating.

Thank you so much for trusting us with your vacation plans, and for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay! We would like to clarify for those considering staying at the home in the future that all of the items mentioned were working upon arrival, and for the majority of the trip, before being reported as breaking down. When they were brought to our attention, we were happy that we had the supplies and team members in place to have them addressed immediately. For example a new out-of-the-box blender was brought over within an hour of it being reported, and likely just bad luck with the lightning storm that week shorting it out. We hope to see you again on a future trip!

Perfect family house!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The BHI Hideaway is a great home inside and out! We loved the newer interiors, beds and kitchen. The rooms are a perfect set up for families with built in bunks for extra space for little ones to sleep. My 3 year old who still uses a crib was happy sleeping in the built in bunk room and the shutters in the rooms made it easy to make the room dark for day time naps which is a win for any parent! Location is great as well and the golf carts all worked and were well kept. The kitchen also has everything you could possibly need to cook. We loved the drop coffee maker and milk frother. We also loved the back yard area and great size grill to hang after the pool.
