The BEACH is just steps away from your front door. This is a fantastic opportunity to stay on the beach at very affordable prices. These prices are below hotel costs and our condo has a home-like atmosphere...AND right on the beach.
This condo is a 5 minute walk to many beachside restaurants and bars, including the Bilmar, Sloppy Joes and Ricky T's. This unit is less than 3 minutes walk to Publix grocery store. 1 mile to historic John's Pass where you will find restaurants, parasailing, shops, boat/jet-ski rentals, gambling cruises and deep-sea fishing.

THEN ANY 4 DAY MINIMUM.
RATE IS $155/NITE SAT. - SAT PREFERRED ONLY UNTIL AUGUST THEN ANY 4 DAY MINIMUM. $135 FOR CLEANING.
Tampa's Busch Gardens is a one hour drive and Orlando's Disney, Epcot, Seaworld, MGM and Universal Studios are just two hours away.The Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Tampa is just one hour away for a night of gambling and fun!!
Less than 1 hour away is NFL football in Tampa at Raymond James Stadium, Hockey games at St Petes Forum in Tampa is 45 minutes away. Tropicana Stadium where the Tampa Bay Rays play is just 20 minutes away!!! There is Golfing all around with a twenty 18-hole courses from two miles to 15 miles away.

Great amenities! Very clean!

Very clean! I loved the quality beach umbrella and chair options! The bed was super comfortable with soft sheets. The owner was available if I could not find something. I would highly recommend this place. I am a 51-year-old who enjoyed the beach some days and the pool, which is shared with another residence. The pool was very quiet and heated.

Pros and cons of this property

Property is older and this particular unit is more dated than the others, however it is beachfront with a nice view. A wonderful beachfront salt water pool and very nice grills and sitting/eating area with a shuffleboard in a common area that’s great for visiting & meeting others staying there.

Good but a little misleading.

The unit was clean but it said it was 1.5 bath. It had one shower, one toilet and 2 sinks. That is not 1.5 baths. There was also a moldy smell in the air. Could've been from a leak in the A/C but I'm not sure. There were an abundance of air freshners to cover the smell but there was no visable mold. The view was good, walk to the beach was longer than anticipated. The owner did have a wagon and chairs available for use so we didn't need to bring ours. We have been spoiled by previous places so it wasn't a good fit for us but if you have no specific expectations this would probably be great.

Birdsong

The unit itself was small but fine for two people. Although the building is on the beach, this (and most) unit isn't on the beach and there's barely a ocean view from the porch. Our unit was basically on Gulf Blvd and there were noises from the road. It's a short walk to the beach and the beach accessories are great! The a/c works great although it's loud at night. We turned it off and just used the ceiling fan and that was fine. You can hear a neighboring a/c unit turning on and off most of the night. Kind of a loud vibration. The furnishings are dated but ok. The kitchen has just about all you need to cook in it. All and all, it's a nice small unit. If you want to hear the waves this isn't the place. But again, the beach is a short walk.

Carefree and comfy

This beachfront condo is nothing short of amazing. It sits on the beach and every morning and every evening you get to witness the most beautiful artwork Mother Nature has to offer. The owner is possibly the most accommodating and compassionate person I have ever dealt with. He takes everything into consideration when it comes to your needs while on vacation and takes the work and worry away so you can truly enjoy your stay. He pays attention to details and honestly wants you to have a great experience vacationing at his property. The location is perfect for families/couples because everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. The area has something for everyone. My motto is do something that you are unable to do where you live. Get the wave runner. Visit the museum. Walk the boardwalks and shop at the small local businesses. Take the time to enjoy your surroundings because this spot gives you the best The price is right for this condo also. It has a fully functional kitchen with all your cooking needs. A breezeway with grills and tables to enjoy the gulf view. A wonderful salt water swim pool, washer and dryer on site and the beach is phenomenal. I give five stars. Two thumbs up and every other accolade you can think of.

Beach time

This property was perfect. Right on the beach. The place had everything you could possibly need including beach chairs,umbrella and a wagon to haul your stuff. The people there were very friendly. I will go back

Beautiful Accomadations

We stayed here for the month of Feb 2015.We have nothing bad to say about our stay. It wasn't until we left room #22 to go to a timeshare unit that we realized how much Dave had to offer as far as every day things you need.Dave's unit had everything and if there was something that you thought you needed Dave would get it for you. Like all other reveiws Location,Location,Location Thank you Dave.We had an enjoyable stay.We would have tried to book for next year but we were not sure what our plans are for next year.

Nice location and beach at your doorstep!

Our stay at the Birdsong was great! Condo was ready for our arrival and we had all we needed, as described in the ad. All we had to do was to grab the things we wanted at the beach, put it in the caddy and walk 2 minutes to get to this quiet beach. The next door pool was also very nice. We appreciated the TVs when my daughter of 6 was tired after a long day in the sun. Lot of channels available. We can find all food and beverages we want at the nearby Publix. Also, if you want ice cream, Super Scoops is awesome! We recommend this condo to everyone who wants to enjoy the quiet beach life!

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL PLACE AND LOCATION !!

We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our vacation! The location is perfect, beach access, places to eat (and drink) and entertainment close by. Dave was very informative with letting us know what was going on in the area each day via text and to make sure we put our 'sun screen' :-) Being from Maine it was a very good idea. The condo itself was beautiful to say the least. Very homey and anything you may have needed was there. We have told everyone and there brother about this place and we 'will' return again. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!!

Once again a wonderful place to stay!

We stayed at Dave's Bird Song condo last May with our son for a week, loved it so much we came back for two-weeks in October! We love the location and how well maintained and stocked the condo is! Treasure Island Beach is so nice for taking long walks and watching sunsets on. There are many great places for shopping and eating out. Ricky T's is a fun place to watch a sports game at! Thank you once again Dave for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo. We look forward to coming back next spring for another visit...Dennis and Lori Higgins Washington State...Go Hawks!!

Excellence all the way

The condo is exactly as described, and even better. We flew to FL and didn't want to check our bags, so David said not to worry; he had everything we'd need except food, sunscreen and bathing suits. He wasn't exaggerating. It was really nice to hop off the plane and into our shuttle, and not have to hang around at baggage claim. We pretty much stayed close to the condo and every single person we met, most of whom are full-time residents at Birdsong, was exceptionally nice. Warning though -- the doorknob opens from the inside but is locked from the outside!!! We locked ourselves out within the first few hours. David, his cleaning guy John and another owner were extremely helpful. The beach here is immaculate, the water amazing and warm, the street itself well maintained and nicely landscaped. Beds are super comfy, with high quality sheets. Plenty of bath towels, and even beach towels. The Sunday evening drum circle is a lot of fun, and David even provides bongos to join in if you like. Grocery an easy 5-minute walk, Walgreens and a surf shop for some light shopping another 2-3 minute walk from there. Very easy to get around on foot, but next time we will probably rent a car in case of rainy days. Drinks and live music at Ricky T's is fun, and we also enjoyed Sloppy Joe's for sunset dining. We pulled a couple chairs out past the lights and spent our evenings looking at the stars and enjoying the scent and sounds of the Gulf.

there is no better place to stay on treasure island than at this condo, it is very, very clean and very well equipped, it is absolutely wonderful. we will return next year for sure. it is a very superb location to everything, it was very relaxing , thanks a lot, DAVE, good job. Comfortable, cozy and very convenient!!!

We recently enjoyed our stay at The Bird Song in Treasure Island, Florida again. Dave was their to greet us and the place looked even better in person, if that was possible, than the pics online! He has done wonderful improvements that made our stay even better! The new T.V.'s, furniture, decor, paint etc. fabulous! The condo was stocked with everything you could possibly need! We love waking up early and walking the beach on TI. It's a great location and walking distance to everything...shopping, dinning renting paddle boards etc. We can't wait to return in October! Thank you Dave for making our stay so enjoyable! Dennis and Lori Higgins from Washington State...GO HAWKS!!

Snowbird Heaven

Loved the area of Treasure Island. We have never stayed in this area and will definitely be back. The Condo was for sure our "Home away from Home". It was furnished with everything that you could need and was so comfy. My husband enjoyed having the press delivered to the door each day. It was great to have all the things you needed to go to the beach for the day out in the storage closet. Loved that you could walk close by to get groceries, drugstore supplies and many fine eating places. The best part was meeting the owner and having him available in case of any problems.

Great Getaway

This was our first time vacationing at Treasure Island and we were very pleased with this condo. We loved the covenience of the location as we were close to everything (beach,restaurants,groceries and attractions). The unit is very clean and well supplied with Stereo,Flat screen TV's,DVD players along with a good selection of DVDs.The free WiFi, telephone and morning paper was a real plus. Linens and paper products were provided and the condo includes a well stocked kitchen (I enjoyed having the coffee maker for my morning coffee). Anything you needed was provided. It was great having the chairs and towels supplied for the beach. We really enjoyed the heated pool for relaxing in during the day. Being right on the beach is fantastic both for access and for the view. (Sunsets are beautiful) Dave was great - with our booking and with anything else we needed. He is very accommodating. We have already booked again for next year but for two weeks as one was not long enough.

We didn't want to leave!

My first thought upon seeing the condo was, "what a cute place!", and it only got better from there. The beds were so comfy and the quality linens and plush towels were such a plus. Some very nice amenities, such as the new flat screen TV's and DVD players were very much appreciated after a long day of sightseeing or after enjoying the great beach just outside the door of the condo. We also appreciated the free wi-fi for updating our email. We enjoyed being able to walk to Publix to stock the fridge with beverages and supplies for our breakfasts in, which we enjoyed preparing in the well-supplied kitchen. The breakfast bar was a comfortable place to enjoy our breakfasts or an evening snack. Many great restaurants were also within walking distance of the condo. It was a pleasure working with Dave in securing the condo for our vacation, and we hope to return very soon.

This beautiful beach condo has it all!

We had a wonderful time in Treasure Island and appreciated all the luxuries your condo afforded us. Everything was so perfect, clean and extremely comfortable with every convenience imaginable available to us. The weather cooperated also - sunny and breezy! It really couldn't have been any better for a romantic getaway. Many great restaurants up and down the beach - Caddy's for breakfast, Sloppy Joes for lunch and Middle Grounds Grill for dinner. All within walking distance! Publix Market right across the street made stocking the full size fridge easy. We will NOT rent a car on our next visit! We were able to walk, Trolly, or take Jimmy's Beach Rides anywhere we wanted to go! We relaxed at the beach with the chairs and towels provided and also enjoyed the pool. The sunsets were unforgettable! Sunday's game was awesome on the beautiful 50" HDTV! It was nice to have another TV in the bedroom too. We definitely want to stay again soon. Thanks so much, Dave!

Lovely Condo with every amenity needed for a great beach vacation

All you will need to bring is your swimsuit & toothbrush! This was a perfect setting for a wonderful vacation. I took my 3 year old Grandson for a weeks vacation on this beautiful Treasure Island beach. Let me first say that a week just wasn't long enough. It goes without saying that it was beautifully furnished and very spacious, just take a look at the pictures. The owner is great to work with and will bend over backwards to provide you with whatever you need. The big screen tv and all the cable channels were great, I only wish I'd had the time to enjoy some of the DVD's at the condo, but my Grandson insisted we watch the Disney channel or Nicklelodian:-( There's also a fully furnished kitchen with everything you need to cook meals. We enjoyed the beach for playing in the sand and the pool was great for swimming. It is conveniently located near the boardwalk at John's Pass Landing. Don't miss the Pirate Ship voyage, it is great for all ages. Oh yes, and the Publix Grocery is a stones throw from the condo, very convenient. The condo is only 15 miles from the St.Pete/Clearwater airport. I hope to vacation here again next year, if God's willing.

The fact that there is sand in your flip flops in the parking lot tells you how close the beach actually is. A heated pool is availabe for your use as well as the warm Gulf of Mexico.
Parasails, boats and beach goers are everywhere you can look. The shopping is so convenient you can literally not use your car and walk to Publix for food or several lively Restaurant/Bars right on Gulf Blvd. If you want to kick back and enjoy the beach and a good book,you will feel like you are in paradise, away from it all down on the beach with your feet in the warm water. Added free dedicated internet for privacy and free phone US/Canada calls while staying here.

There are several beach rides that will take you further then you would care to walk if you desire for free and a tip. Downtown is 15 minutes away with the New Dali Museum, Tropicana stadium (Go Rays) and a miriad of eateries and outside cafe style high end restaurants. Helicopter rides out of the local airport there and the Vinoy and Don Cesar Hotels are enough for anyones tastes for the finer things if desired.
