The Guest Houses: Four adjacent "tiny houses" offer an additional 6 ensuite bedrooms, each featuring its own kitchen and outdoor area for maximum independence.

The property easily accommodates 22 people including 2 children. Having separate rooms with individual bathrooms made all more comfortable. The Hosts were most helpful and accommodating. We had breakfast daily , variety of food wonderful and delicious, mostly healthy and cooked on the premises. I had 5 dinners for all my guests, each menu was different and represented traditional Sicilian food at its best . The local wines of Mnt Etna were wonderful .Swimming pools are not heated however they were warm during our stay.

We had our wedding at this beautiful villa and 25 of us stayed in here for four days. We could not of had a better time and been more accommodated. We had caters in for the day of the wedding and the food was absolutely amazing. It was a short walk into a small town where there was shops and coffee places and a short drive to the nearest town where there was food and bars along the beach which was beautiful. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a family holiday / wedding here

Beautiful house

We enjoyed our stay very much including two amazing dinners with delicious local food! The property offers enough space for large groups and the dinner/table setting under the pergola with view of the Etna is simply amazing. The small cottages were perfect for little families with kids to have some privacy and not disturb the ones without kids in the main house. Gabriele and Mathilde were super helpful with all questions beforehand and during our stay! We'd love to stay there again!

The Villa de Principe

The villa and it's surroundings were so much more than I expected. The staff was extremely attentive to every whim. Dining was fantastic. Proximity to neighboring towns was very convenient. I would recommend this villa to all. The staff makes you feel like family. I want to go back!

Unforgettable family trip!

The villa provided a fantastic homebase for my family during our week vacation. Everyone having their own room and bathroom was wonderful and the pool, pergola and lawn space was great for family gathering, games and enjoyment. Meals, cleaning services and air conditioning all are additional costs which is important to note, but the team at the villa was very helpful in responding to needs and resolving any issues. Spectacular week at the villa.

We took 20 of our friends and secured the whole villa for ourselves which was great fun. Monica and Maria and other grounds staff looked after us very well and cooked stunning food. The villa has the most wonderful setting, the pools are wonderfully relaxing places. We recommend the villa for anybody wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and who enjoy rustic, peaceful and well maintained accommodation. Beautiful property in a very convenient location!

Our group of 19 had a wonderful stay! The property is exactly as described with beautiful scenic and Mt. Etna views. It is very conveniently located, close to Taromina and several beautiful beach towns. We rented cars at the Catania airport and were able to travel around the area with ease. The Villa was a perfect home base and the pool and outdoor dining areas were a perfect way to end to our busy days. Monica was wonderful and very easy to communicate with, she was always available to help with anything we needed. Maria and Antionetta cooked delicious Sicilian dinners for us a few nights of our week long stay and were a pleasure! We had a wonderful week!

Wonderful home base to explore Sicily

We spent a week at Le Case del Principe with a group of 25. It was a wonderful home base for us and allowed us to do day trips to other cities around Sicily. The facilities are comfortable and the land is beautiful. Some days, we just spent at the villa enjoying the pool. The outdoor dining area was my favorite part of the entire place, and it's also where we spent the most amount of time as a group. My only complaint was about the quality of the kitchens - the appliances were not in great condition (broken dishwasher, stove didn't properly match temperature it was set to, fridge was on a switch and accidentally got turned off one day, etc). This, however, was a minor inconvenience, and we loved our stay overall. I'd certainly recommend going here, especially with a large group.

Great Property

Our family of 14 adults and children spent a beautiful vacation at Le Case del Principe. Upon arrival, Monica greeted us; she was extremely warm and friendly. She was also availabe during the entire week and was very anxious to help when we needed something. Maria prepared a delicious dinner and was also availabe for the entire week. We enjoyed eating dinner every evening in the gazebo, while looking at the beautiful views of Mt. Etna and surrounding areas. The children loved to have the space to do gymnastics and run freely. The pool was beautiful and we spent quite a bit of time there. We would certainly recommend vacationing at Le Case del Principe. M. G.

Villa was nice, not elegant. Placement of kitchen not in main house. We had difficulty gaining entrance because Mathilde did not realize we had arrived. We had some initial problems with the aur conditioning in some rooms but it was straightened out. Extra cost for air conditioning was shocking given the. The large pool.and surrounding areas were spectacular. We loved the lemons and made lemonade. We never saw an outdoor grill but we managed with the kitchen. My family had a great time. A Magical Week in Sicily – Perfect Home for a Large Family We just returned from an unforgettable week at this stunning VRBO home in Sicily, where our family of 14 had the most incredible stay. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the beauty and character of the property. The house is full of charm and well equipped with everything we needed. It’s spacious, comfortable, and clearly loved. The grounds are absolutely beautiful—lush gardens, open spaces for kids to play, two pools, cozy outdoor sitting areas, and lovely views of Mt Etna that made it a joy just to relax at home between excursions. The location is perfect—convenient to beaches, and historic towns, but still peaceful and private. The owner, Gabriele, was warm and welcoming, and Mathilde, who manages the property, was always available, responsive, and incredibly helpful whenever we had a question or needed assistance. Her local tips and kind attention made us feel completely at home. We also highly recommend arranging to have dinner prepared at the house—the food was absolutely delicious, and served in the most beautiful setting. It was one of the highlights of our stay and a perfect way to enjoy Sicilian hospitality without leaving home. This is a home with heart and history, and it gave us the ideal base to explore Sicily while also enjoying precious family time together. Highly recommend!

Amazing Property and Staff!!!!!!

My wife, myself, and our families stayed at the property for a week in July. We had our wedding reception on the property towards the end of our stay. It was amazing. The property was so tranquil and picturesque. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Gabrielle, Monica, and Maria made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Maria had a wonderful meal prepared for us when we arrived after a long day of travel. Monica was so helpful. She checked in with us everyday to make sure that our guests were happy while at the estate. And finally, on our wedding day, the staff worked with our wedding planner to pull off an absolutely unforgettable wedding reception. I would whole-heartedly recommend this property. Thank you Gabrielle, Monica, and Maria for your warmth and hospitality. We had an unforgettable time!!!!

Great Property for a Large Gatheting

We have stayed at this villa for one week in October sharing it with 25 people - all friends and family. It is a very unique property: the setting is farm-like (in the middle of a lemon tree grove) and the grounds are well-maintained and very spacious with two pool areas and a garden terrace for meals. But for us, mostly, it was the people working at the villa. We have purchased additional services (breakfasts, dinners and daily cleaning). Chetina, Mathilde, Antoinette, Bastiano, Maria and Rosie were there for us every day and made our stay truly special. Gabriele - the owner - stopped by as well to say hello and check on things. Just a couple of suggestions: consider adding memory foam mattress toppings to make beds less firm and, perhaps, add some softer pillows to make sleeping a bit more comfortable. These are not critiques, just some thoughts to make it even more enjoyable (especially, for older guests). Overall, this Villa is an absolute gem for a big family/friends gathering and we recommend it without any reservations.

My family & I had a fantastic stay here July 6th- July 17. We were 26, 18 adults & 8 children (7 months to 13 yrs) There was ample room for all. The rooms were clean & bright. The kitchen was well equipped & we cooked dinner often. The host Gabriel was gracious & accommodating. He recommended some restaurants, beaches to visit & even helped with the room assignments for this large group.The villa is perfectly located. It's a 5 minute walk into the small town of Trappitello which we did after dinner for gelato. There is also a pizzeria, (which was good), pharmacy & small grocery. It's a five minute drive into Giardini Naxos for a larger grocery store & a cute waterfront town with lots of restaurants. Taormina is just a 15 minute drive with many beaches along the way.Twice the cooks prepared a meal for us. Both nights the meals were delicious, filled with pasta dishes, meat dishes, salads, wine, pistachio cannoli & tiramisu. They even made some chicken & fries for the kids. The pictures on line do not do justice to the beautiful, lush grounds of the villa. There are flower filled paths to walk from the house to the outside dining area & to the pool. Besides flowers, you'll find many lemon trees, olive trees & even avocado trees. The grounds and pool are well maintained & clean. There is a large lawn where the kids would run & play when not swimming in the pool. Mt. Etna against blue skies & beautiful sunsets was the perfect backdrop for this amazing picturesque villa!

Beautiful Relaxing Villa

Our group was 15 people including 3 small kids. We each had our own bedrooms and bathrooms. Each area had a living room. But the highlight of this property was the covered patio, with a table large enough for all of us to dine together. There is also a quite a bit of nice patio furniture to enjoy. All of this beautiful area is surrounded by vineyards, lemon, orange and grapefruit trees. We were very close to Taormina, and the beach, but you could just stay at the villa and be perfectly content. Monica put together our trips to Mt. Etna, the Gambino Vineyard, and the Godfather tour. They were all fabulous, with our own van, and the same driver each day. Maria cooked for us at least three night, and I highly recommend this at least once. She is quite an accomplished chef and we enjoyed her meals more than local restaurants. The location was prime, not far from the Catania airport, Taormina, Castelmola, the beach and several beautiful cities. The owner Principe Gabriele, Monika, Maria, and Antoinette (don't know if I got that right) really did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. If you decide to stay here please go with their ideas on what to see and do in the area, but schedule some downtime to just enjoy the property. One thing I forgot to mention but is very important to me is that the property is very clean.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dieser Unterkunft. Als Gruppe von 16 Erwachsenen hatten wir die Anlage exklusiv für uns. Wir waren wirklich mit allem sehr zufrieden: Der Gastgeber hat uns schon frühzeitig kontaktiert und Einzelheiten geklärt. Die Dame, die uns die Schlüssel überreicht hat, konnte sich flexibel nach uns richten und uns alle relevanten Informationen mitteilen. Die Anlage ist sehr gross und sauber. Wir haben insbesondere den grossen Sitzplatz mit dem Grill, die Pools und die Boccia-Anlage sehr geschätzt.

Sehr spezielles und großartiges Ferienobjekt

Großartige und großzügige Anlage mit vielen Schlafmöglichkeiten, fast alle Zimmer mit en-suite Bädern Die ganze Anlage ist sehr gepflegt. Überall wunderbare Rückzugsmöglichkeiten.Wir wurden sehr liebevoll betreut und versorgt von einem tollen Team, bestehend aus Köchin und Service. Sehr zu empfehlen für große Gruppen und Familientage, wir kommen wieder !

Great stay at the feet of Etna! :-)

We - a 18 people development team of an Austrian-based company - spent five wonderful days at "Le Case Del Principe". The property offered everything that was valuable for us: Comfortable and clean rooms, a lot of space to relax within the property, a romantic place for "al fresco dining" where all of us could be seated, a clean and refreshing pool, ... A highlight was as well the caring and kind support by Monica and her team - the room service was great, the food was more than delicious and thanks to their warm nature we often had a good laugh! The property is located in a quiet place on the beautiful countryside. Etna is not far away and dominates the astonishing view. The location is great as a base for trips like seeing Etna, visiting Taormina, relaxing at the beautiful beaches, ... but it's recommended to travel by car. Thank you to Gabriele for the uncomplicated communication and the willingness to cater an offer to suit our needs! We hope to come back soon.

Excellent

Celebrated my 60 th with 25 members of my family. Monica and her team Maria the cook made us all feel at home. We had a typical Italian breakfast every morning and a delightful dinner every evening.From outside you had a spectacular view of Mount Etna and its about 20 mins drive to Taormina.

The perfect base for exploring...east of Sicily

Nestled among grape vines and fruit trees, Le Case del Principe is a relaxing oasis just below Taormina, near the sea with soaring views of Etna. The rooms are immaculate, lovingly decorated in the local style and the food is out of this world. It's one of those places where time seems to stand still and let's you reconnect with yourself and nature.

Delightful holiday stay

Our group of twenty adults spent a wonderful two weeks at Le Case del Principe. We rented cars at the airport in Catania and used the villa as a base for exploring Etna and the vicinity. The driving was challenging at times, with twisting roads to hill towns, but let us see many off the beaten path spots. The property was even more lovely than pictured, with quiet corners for reading, and shady gathering spots for large group dinners. We rented the entire estate so there was privacy and comfort for all. There was also a bocce court which provided opportunity for lively evening competitions. The grounds were beautifully maintained with lemon trees and colorful flowers surrounding the pool areas. Monica and the other staff members were responsive to all our needs, and the meals prepared for us by Maria and Antoinetta featured fresh local ingredients in traditional Sicilian recipes. Outstanding! We appreciated Monica's help in arranging day trips to Agrigento and Piazza Armerina, a fabulous wine tasting at Gambino Vini, and a night out for pizza at Flora. We also enjoyed waking into town for cappuccino and croissants in the mornings. Other day trips included exploring Mt. Etna , Alcantra Gorges, Taormina, Enna, Castiglione , Savoca, and other picturesque spots. Those who love ceramics were particularly satisfied by the shops in Caltagirone. A highlight for us all was a concert by the tenors "IL Volo" in the spectacular setting of the ancient Greek theater in Taormina with Mt. Etna as a backdrop. I would definitely recommend the property to others. We were sad to say farewell to Monica who who became like a family member to our group.

1- The Relais is to completely immersed in the greenery of the garden and countryside and at the same time is close to beach, shops, restaurants, pharmacy , food markets and Taormina main street with its top brand shops like Gucci, Dolce e Gabbana, Armani, Sergio Rossi shoes, Tods, Falconeri cashmere, Loropiana, Rolex, Moschino...

2- There is an in house maintainer active everyday for any damage occurring available 24 h.

3- There are 2 pools and the second one is particularly fit for children (H. 1,20 m)

4- There is a spectacular view of Etna.

5- We have a fantastic home cook loved by adults and children (on demand)

6- The house manager is available for any support or suggestion you may need during the stay (She lives at 10 minutes driving from the Relais). You will never feel alone.
