Nestled in Purcellville, this delightful cottage offers a fabulous retreat for guests on 12 gorgeous acres with a 2-acre stocked fishing pond (catch and release only please). This recently renovated 2 -Bedroom / 2 Bathroom cottage. The two bedrooms both feature Queen Beds, Full Closets, Drawer Storage, and Smart TVs. Two Full Bathrooms make sharing a space so much nicer (one with tub/shower combo and the other is a full shower). Enjoy the Open Floor Plan that includes a breakfast bar/dining space in the Kitchen that's open to the comfy Living Room with a Sofa and a very comfy oversized chair, and a 50" a Smart TV for streaming your favorites like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc. (subscriptions required).

This marvelous property is perfect for a peaceful getaway. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like a full kitchen with full sized range/oven and microwave, a refrigerator / freezer, Keurig style coffee maker with reuseable stainless-steel cups, coffee beans and grinder, and all the cooking utensils you need as well as silverware, plates, bowls, glasses, mugs. If you love BBQ we have a gas grill right outside the front door for guest use. Lightning-Fast Broadband WiFi, Central Heat / AC, an in unit full-sized Washer / Dryer, an iron and ironing board, and convenient reserved guest parking right next to the cottage door. It also has a patio area with picnic table and small firepit or feel free to use the large fire pit area down by the pond.

As parents of a PHC student, this location was great for easy access to PHC. We did not use the kitchen except for making coffee, but the bed and living room was very comfortable. The location is on a beautiful property.

I planned a small bachelorette party and the host's restaurant and activity recommendations helped a ton!! The property was beautiful and the space was perfect for the 4 of us to get ready the morning of the wedding!

Couples weekend

Our rental space was on the top floor and the area was nice for our getaway. Host was quick to reply when we had a question. I would stay here again.

This was a good place to stay for two guys day hiking in the AT. It is clean, quiet, comfortable, and in a very good location. It had everything we needed.

Family wedding nearby

Perfect property for three of us! We had a family wedding to attend at nearby Gordon Springs, and the place was lovely. Nicely decorated, comfortable leather furniture, and just about everything you could need. (Had to wrap our gift and there was even tape and scissors!) just bring some creamer for the Kuerig Coffee maker! Wonderful visit.

Clean, bright, quiet and comfortable. Thoughtful, practical touches and clever use of space. VRBO dropped a ball with sharing the "keys" to the place so we were missing a few details, but the host thoughtfully has signs present and we figured it out. There is an upstairs apartment (where we stayed) and a downstairs apartment. The whole house is NOT yours. Upstairs is plenty for two couples. Two full bathrooms woth one being en suite (check behind the door). Clever!!We enjoyed our stay. Terrific location near the highway and Purcellville, but set back enough to avoid any noise, just the trill of a few toads which was lovely. Highly recommend!

Like being at home

To say that we enjoyed our time at this property does not do it justice. The cottage is filled with everything needed to make the stay enjoyable, including those things that may have been left behind, like toothpaste and shampoo. It is exceptionally clean, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the kitchen is ready for either cooking family meals or enjoying take-out. A bonus is the pond and an outdoor area. It beckons you to sit and enjoy nature while slowing down to take a deep breath and enjoy the surroundings. My family enjoyed their time by the pond and rate that as their favorite thing about the stay. This property gives a feeling of being far away from everyday chaos, but is only a short drive to stores, restaurants, and shops. I was pleasantly surprised to see that recycling is available too. I cannot recommend this property enough and am already planning our return visit.

The property has a serenity about it that just felt soothing and peaceful and it has a beauty and flow to it. We just loved! We basically bought the property for those qualities knowing that we’d have a lot of renovation to do and we did that over a three year period.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

It is a mixture of old and new with several structures dating from 1900 and newer structures with all the modern conveniences in a setting that features all kinds for gorgeous flowering trees and flowers and wildlife (deer, geese, ducks, foxes, hawks, egrets and too many birds to name) that cross our property daily and nightly. We also love our 2 acre stocked fishing pond and just seeing sunrise over it is a really peaceful experience! Come enjoy the beauty for yourself!
