We really enjoyed our stay here. The house had a lot of great space we cooked in and grilled out. Staff was super helpful and very responsive.We really like the location being a short golf cart ride from downtown Tamarindo, but just far enough removed where it was nice and quiet.

We had an amazing stay at Surfside Sands. The house was well laid out and nice to have separate bedroom entrances since we were three adult couples from the same family vacationing together. There were beach chairs for us to carry down to Playa Langosta beach which was always quiet for us and great sunsets. Tamarindo beach is a 15 minute walk and nicer for swimming but the constant vendors there is a bit of a bother. Plenty of restaurants in Tamarindo but recommend chef Daniel Rojas to come to the house for a private dinner. Don't miss Waffle Monkey for breakfast and Pangas for a good steak.

This rental property is beautiful! Even better than the pictures and the set up is perfect for a group! All private rooms with full baths made it very comfortable for our group of 9. We stayed in for most meals and the kitchen was very well equipped. The property manager Daniel was very accommodating and responsive for anything we needed. Not only did he coordinate rides to and from the airport, he also reserved golf carts for us for the week and gave lots of tips on restaurants and things to do. I do highly recommend renting a golf cart for going back and forth to town. The home is in a very nice gated community and there is a private beach just down the road. The sunsets were amazing every night! Overall we would highly recommend renting this home.

We are a family of eight and we had plenty of room to visit and have private time, while enjoying our christmas vacation. Our host daniel reached out to us before we ever reached the property and assisted us throughout our entire stay. We lacked for nothing at this house. Location is perfect.Walking distance to the shops and restaurants and private beaches.

Family Vacation

We had a fantastic stay at this property in Tamarindo! The home was very clean, well-maintained, and located in a safe, gated community. It was super convenientā€¦just a short walk or drive to the beach, great restaurants, and local shops. We felt completely at ease the entire time and really appreciated the comfort and location. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

Great Stay!

We had a wonderful time in Costa Rica and a great stay at Surfside Sands! The place is perfect for couples and even families. Daniel, the local host, was fantasticā€”he helped us with multiple requests and made our stay even more enjoyable. He arranged golf cart rentals for us, which turned out to be incredibly convenient. Highly recommended!

Perfect property for our group of 8. Pool is great, rooms were clean, and hosts are very helpful. It can be a bit of a walk to town (15-25 min depending on where you are going), but that is no knock on the property itself.

Paradise and perfection

What a perfect house near tamarindo but not in the commercial area. The morning walk to langosta beach was so nice. The house is truly amazing. Do get the local cooks to make costa rica dish and get the golf kart. Its allPart of the fun.

This is a great house and location to the beach with a 4 minute walk to private gate. The house is well designed and furnished with the suites being in another building around the pool so people sleeping aren't disturbed by people staying up late in the main part of the house. Pool is very nice. Communication with the manager was also very good. The house is a 15 minute walk to the edge of the center of town.

Wonderful trip to Tamarindo!

My husband and I had a wonderful time on our trip to Tamarindo. The house was perfect: clean, with a relaxing pool, just a 5 minute walk to Playa Langosta, and a 15 minute walk to town. The house manager, Daniel, was communicative and helpful. Overall, we had a great stay, and we hope to be able to come back in the future!

Exceptional Stay in Tamarindo

My husband, our nanny, and 4 kids had an exceptional stay. I have only wonderful things to say.We hired the cooks almost every day, and it was incredible! Daily housekeeping was also included, and we found it to be so helpful.The manager also arranged for our rides to and from the airport, a golf cart, etc.We really enjoyed the golf cart and found the area super easy to navigate and safe.I highly recommend this location and this house!

Didnā€™t want to leave!!!

In addition to the luxury hotel-style accomodations and concierge service, THE LOCATION WAS AMAZING!!! Had the best time exploring the area and the private beaches. Found an awesome path connecting the community's two private beach access points where we discovered the most beautiful settings. We made the most out of our 4 days and fit a lot in but could have spent a lot more time...sad to leave...highlights included walking (and eating) our way through town, surfing, fishing, zip-lining, discovering the farmer's market, a fireworks show, a private chef dinner with an accompanying musician...and more! Will definitely be back to Surfside Sands!

Wouldn't have changed a THING

My partner and I spent 4 nights in this beautiful home, and we couldn't think of one thing we'd change to make it better. From the immense natural light, spaciousness, and cleanliness, to the perfect pool, stunning kitchen, and beautiful / comfortable bedrooms, we loved every minute of staying in this home! The proximity to two different beaches, and Tamarindo town only made it more perfect. We loved being able to spend the mornings at the beach and coming home for afternoons by the pool to cool down from the sun and enjoy the peace of the house. We even had a couples massage at the house one day, which was just icing on the cake - a must do! It was set up seamlessly by the house manager, as were all of our restaurant reservations. Would stay at this house a million times over!

Absolutely loved staying in this house. First thing to say is the pictures do not do it justice, it is bigger in real life, perfect space for a family or group of friends. The layout means you can be as close as you want or if needed have a little space to yourself.the living area is well equipped, the smart tv an added bonus.the kitchen has all you could need for entertaining.the house manager responds promptly if you have any concerns.Location is a short walk from Tamarindo and Langosta beaches which are perfect for watching sunsets with a beer or cocktail.a short buggy ride or walk is Tamarindo where there are plenty of places to eat and drink, the house is very tranquil after the buzz of Tamarindo, if you are looking for something a little quieter then turning right from the house will give you some quieter restaurants ( El Sapo is great for pizza) Highly recommended place to stay.

Our house host Daniel was amazing! We booked everything we needed through him. Just told him what we wanted to do, and he set it all up. Zip line, ATV, as well massages, chefs, and a golf cart, all at the house for us. Zero stress, or thinking involved on our end. How a vacation should be. With the golf cart, you are a 5 min ride up the street to the amazing downtown area of Tamarindo. And from the house, you are a 5 min walk, or 1 min golf cart ride to the beach. There's a gate with a code for private entry to that part of the beach. Pretty much nobody on the beach with us when we were there. The pool was perfect, there were monkeys in the trees, the bedrooms all are master suites. Just perfect. Will definitely be going back, and staying at this house again.

Great place to stay!

We had the pleasure staying at this home in Costa Rica during our visit. We had two families of 5 including kids ages 5-15. We had booked it under previous ownership and didnā€™t know what to expect with the change. The new ownership and concierge (Jonathan) were wonderful. It was perfect for our group. The layout has outside entrances to each bedroom and then the main living area is separate. It was great for sleeping and people could wake up and join in the main house when they were ready to. We had a few requests for the host while there and they responded to our needs immediately. Communication was a breeze via WhatsApp. We had the offer of groceries upon arrival, help finding tours, surf lessons, etc. They had a lovely light lunch prepared for us upon arrival which was greatly appreciated after a long travel day. We did rent golf carts for ease of getting places, but the location is definitely walkable to town and the beach. We would absolutely book this house again and appreciated the quick response to all of our needs. Thank you!

Beach Vacation House - AMAZING!

Where to begin with this propertyā€¦ In brief, this property was fantastic for our family of 5. Each bedroom has itā€™s own entrance and bathroom which allows for great privacy and usage of the common areas in the morning without disturbing others. The beach was a 10 minute walk away through the neighborhood which lead to a gorgeous low populated beach. We were able to use the 5 included beach chairs and a tree for shade, it was perfect. We also rented boogie boards across the street and purchased any additional sunscreen or beach amenities which was super convenient. If you are looking to head into Tamarindo and really want that vibe, you may want to rent a golf cart. Itā€™s a 20 minute walk to the grocery store and we ubered to dinner a couple nights since the house is really on the edge of town and the street is pretty dark. Daniel was easy to communicate with and assisted greatly in enhancing our enjoyment of the property. The housekeeper came daily which was great as well. The pool was in fantastic condition and completely shaded in the afternoons which was amazing when you get back from the beach. The only 2 things that could have improved our experience was the water pressure and temperature in 2/4 of the bathrooms was iffy so we all had to use the same 2 for showers. We also would have loved to heat the hot tub in the evenings. Overall it was a great way to visit Tamarindo and enjoy gorgeous Costa Rica. 10/10.
