Tranquil Gulf Shores is located two short blocks from the beach. Publix is located one mile to the north for your grocery needs. The Pier and all the entertainment is a short two miles away.

Tranquil Gulf Shores is dog friendly to small dogs under 20 pounds. Should your dog be larger than 20 pounds, prior approval will be needed. Other pets are not permitted. However, additional cleaning fee will apply.

Great Stay!

Our stay at Barb’s was perfect! Fort Myers Beach is our happy place and Barb’s rental was just a few minutes walk to the beach. The rental was exactly as pictured and included everything we needed for our stay. Communication before and during our stay was great. We loved the proximity to the beach, town, and enjoyed hanging out in the screened in Lanai. Thank you for hosting us!

Tranquil Gulf Shores

This property is exactly as described on VRBO. It is extremely well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with appliances & kitchen supplies. It has a nice walk to beach. The property owner is responsive to emails and nice to work with. We had a wonderful vacation. Hope to visit again!

Best Ever

We've stayed at a number of places in Southern FL over the last 5 years and this was hands down the best. They truly provided everything you might need in such a beautiful setting. Much more than other places we have tried. I'm a tough grader, but they definitely get an A+.

Cheery and Clean Condo Very Close To Beach

Lovely and convenient to the beach

Lovely property and so convenient to the beach with great public access. The duplex was on the quiet south side of the island which we appreciated. Lanai was perfect for breakfast.

Perfect Getaway!

My husband and I loved this home! It was a quick 5 minute walk to the beach, made easy with the wagon that was provided. We had all the beach supplies that we needed - plenty of beach towels, umbrellas, and chairs. We loved the quiet neighborhood and that the home was situated in the middle of the island. We rented bikes for the week and were able to explore both ends of the island! The home was clean and was the perfect place to come back to after our adventures each day. We would definitely return!

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave!

Perfect 2 bedroom 2 bath vacation rental. I can not express enough how impressed we were with every aspect of our one month stay. Firstly, the property is even nicer than shown in the pictures. The beach house interior and use of color really make you feel like you are on vacation. And, the beach is a short walk away on a quiet street. My husband and I loaded up the beach buggy every evening for sunset! The house was very well appointed with plenty of high quality towels and sheets, pillows and quilts. The rear porch was a favorite as it provides plenty of privacy. Barb, the host, was extremely attentive and very easy to work with. We even lost our key while walking on the beach and she was able to sort it out very quickly. Fort Myers Beach is very dog friendly, so we were so pleased to be able to bring our little furry family member with us. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house, so we had plenty of privacy from our 15 year old son. I can't say enough about the house, it was perfect for us. I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a quiet hideaway very close to the beach and a short distance to Publix supermarket and various restaurants. Thank you again Barb for everything!

Enjoyable!

We surely enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located mid island in a very quiet neighborhood. The beach was a short walk away. Ft. Myers is a wonderful vacation getaway - beautiful beaches - great seafood. The very best part of our vacation was being able to bring our dog, Buddy - he had a great time too!

Great Location, Cozy and Quiet Place

My husband and I stayed here for the summer. We enjoyed every minute here! Close to beach, Publix, and parks! Since the unit was fully stocked with beach supplies (cart included!), we were able to easily roll the cooler, umbrella, and beach chairs down to the beach. Just a quick walk. Inside the unit, was the same. I had everything I needed to cook a great meal. Some of our favorite things to do were swim the clear Gulf ocean, collect the famous southwest FL seashells, and kayak along the intercoastal waterways. Oh, and the 4th of July fireworks show is nothing like I've seen before. In addition to the city's firework show visible from our beach, other guests brought their own and really lit up the skies for an extra special night. Plus, the owner was almost immediate in returning our calls and emails. Thanks for a great summer and we hope to come back soon!

Our family is from a small rural town in Iowa. We have been travelling to Fort Myers Beach for many years during the holiday season. We have always enjoyed our stay at the beach so we purchased Tranquil Gulf Shores. We try to escape the Iowa winters and enjoy the warm weather when we can. We are very much looking forward to sharing our beach home with you. We hope that you find it as relaxing as we do when are there. It truly is a 'home away from home'.

When you pull into the driveway of our house we've been told you get the feeling of 'home'. It is beautifully landscaped and on a quiet street. It gives you a feeling of beach living without all the hustle and ustle of the city. We hope you enjoy sitting on the either of the two porches or in our rock garden. You can be as busy as you wish. The location is perfect for whatever your interests may be during your beach vacation.
