Mary was an excellent host. Very easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions before our booking as well as during our stay. The house was very clean, and we had all the supplies that we needed provided right on the property. Easy access to the beach, great spot to stay for shopping and dining at local restaurants. Area was very safe for walking around to the different areas. I would recommend renting a bike if you want to get to other areas nearby a little faster. Highly recommend Mary and the property, you won't be disappointed. I will definitely keep this Vrbo property in mind for our next vacation in the area. Thank you!!

This was the best beach stay we have booked. The cottage is so adorable. It was perfect for a girls’ weekend with restaurants, beach and Banks channel steps away. It is surprisingly roomy inside with perfect porches outside for enjoying the water view and breeze. There was an issue that maintenance stopped by to check on and immediately handled. Parking is ample for the number of people and there are lots of extra spots nearby on Waynick if needed. We will be back as soon as we can.

Location was perfect. Close to shops, restaurants, bars, and the beach. Cute little cottage. We could have used a second bathroom with our group, but everything was as described so I can’t complain. Would highly recommend as a great place to stay.

My wife, daughter and I had an amazing time at this property! The location is right in the mix. Easy access to the beach and views of the sound. The host was quick to reply for any additional needs we had. Would absolutely recommend this property and the hosts! It was a great stay.

Wonderful Gem’

We truly enjoyed our stay at this charming bungalow home! The location was perfect…just a short walk to the beach and local shops and eateries! You will not be disappointed. This home has all the modern conveniences to make your vacation delightful. We had a bit of trouble with the keyless entry but Mary was quick to answer our questions and resolve the issue! It was such a bonus that we did not have to bring any beach equipment or supplies as the home had everything we needed to make our trips to the beach relaxing and enjoyable.

Everything was great. Just a little surprised that the property faced the parking area of a multi-storied condo/apartment unit. They were also doing construction on the unit next door. The only other issue we had was the last night we were there, some water main must have busted or some other utility problem and the county was making so much noise and the light were blaring that we could not sleep and ended up getting up and leaving around 4:30/5:00 in the morning. We also did not know there was a unit below us but I do not think anyone was staying there while we were there. The place was very clean and well appointed. It suited us well.

Excellent Location

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect! It was so easy to get to the beach (2 minute stroll) and having coffee shops, a gift shop, and restaurants within a minute of the house was exactly what we wanted, so we didn’t need to use the car often. Being able to grab a smoothie from the walk up coffee shop window and walk back to the beach was so convenient. The outdoor shower at the house was a great way to clean up, keeping sand out of the house. The furnishings are beautiful and all appliances and tvs are up to date. It is a wonderful place to stay!We had 6 people and there were enough beds to accommodate. The twin bed bedroom is very small, but functional and there is only one bathroom. Having one bathroom wasn’t a problem though, since we had the outdoor shower too and public restrooms are only a 1 minute walk away as a back up.If you want to explore Wrightsville Beach, you will love this location.
You can see boats in the bay from the swing and beautiful sunsets.
There is a public path to the water right across the street.

Lovely and comfortable cottage. Well appointed and nicely decorated. We had a wonderful time and wanted to stay longer! Beach is a very short walk and many restaurants are close by, we enjoyed every meal out that we had.Definitely would recommend a stay in this lovely cottage, and we would stay there again.Mary our host was very responsive

The cottage was perfect for our long weekend getaway. The attention to details in the home were very thought out. It was little things like mirrors everywhere, homes for all of the remotes, ceiling fan fixtures in all of the rooms and thoughtful placement of decor. The location was great for walking to restaurants and shops. Beach access was very convenient and there was visibility to beautiful sunsets over the waterway from the kitchen and living area. The only thing missing is a half bathroom. While the single bathroom between the two bedrooms was roomy, and extra toilet room would make the cottage near perfect. When you are paying to stay at the beach, you don't want to have to go to a public restroom if you can't wait But we knew this upfront and was not a deal breaker.
