The Space:

Designed to inspire relaxation and a connection to nature, this elegant home features open-plan living, kitchen and dining areas. Large windows and glass doors throughout fill the home with natural light and enjoy stunning lake views from almost every room. Just steps to the water, the large wooden deck offers uninterrupted lake views, outdoor dining and incredible sunsets with hours of endless lake fun.



The living area is a cozy yet elegant space, complete with large TV, and plush couch. The modern kitchen boasts a large island with a casual eat-in bar that flows into a formal indoor dining area, perfect for gathering with friends and family. Sliding doors open onto the large wooden deck with a gas grill, offering the perfect setting for al fresco dining and summer barbecues. With the serene lake as a stunning backdrop, the deck leads directly to the water’s edge and a private dock, creating an idyllic lakeside experience.



The home features four beautifully appointed bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom, with its king bed, stunning picture windows, private ensuite bathroom and access to the lake, is a true retreat. A second king bedroom also offers captivating lake views and shares a convenient Jack-and-Jill ensuite bathroom. The third and fourth bedrooms are furnished with cozy double beds and share easy hallway access to the Jack-and-Jill bathroom.



Outdoor enthusiasts will love the direct lake access for swimming, fishing, or simply unwinding by the water. Kayaks, paddleboards, and life jackets for all ages are provided for endless adventure. Families will appreciate thoughtful amenities like a highchair, baby bath, pack ‘n play, and infant life jacket, while lawn games and a large yard add extra fun for all ages.

Guest Access:

*Please note that the property offers easy, unfenced access to the lake, so we kindly ask guests to supervise children and pets for safety.



*Motorized boats are not permitted on the lake. Only kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards are allowed. For your safety, please be sure to use the provided life vests and exercise caution while enjoying the lake.



The Neighborhood:

Newburgh, located in Orange County, New York, is a charming city along the Hudson River, offering a perfect blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. In the warmer months, visitors can enjoy the vibrant waterfront, take boat tours, or hike the nearby Shawangunk Mountains. Sunset Lakehouse is under 2 hours from New York City, and you'll definitely want a car to get there and around the area. Just minutes from I-84, the NYS Thruway, and the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, Newburgh is easily accessible and filled with things to explore. In winter, we recommend a car with four-wheel drive that can handle the snow and gravel roads.

*Please note that use of the fireplace is not permitted at this time.



*Please note that in 2026, the lake will be partially drained for maintenance from September 8th-End of November/Early December. Kayaking, canoeing, is still permitted. We encourage guests to roam the exposed beach to hunt for shells and enjoy the unique perspective of the lake.
