Blue Mt Rest is in the heart of the Adirondack State Park, has 4 cabins accommodating up to 25 people. Open year round and privately owned in a pristine "forever wild" environment, BM Rest is the perfect NY getaway, summer, spring, winter or fall.

Just and 8 minute walk from Blue Mt Lake, BM REST IS NOT A LAKE FRONT property but all water sport and the Adirondack Museum is a stone's throw away.

This accommodation has a king bed, a bunk bed with a futon on the bottom and single on the top. It has a fully equipped eat in kitchen, Direct TV w/ HBO & Wifi, outdoor fire pit and charcoal grill.

30 lakes within 45 minutes of our property in the gorgeous Adirondack Mountains. This is the largest state park in the US, over 6 million acres of pristine "forever wild" wilderness. In Spring: hiking, fishing and white water rafting. In Summer: canoe and kayak rentals, a boat livery for motor water craft, The Adirondack Museum, Wild Center, Water Parks, horseback riding & seaplane rides are just minutes away. In fall, awesome fall foliage, 4 community events, the BM Lake Art Museum. In Winter, snowmobiling, x-country skiing, snow shoeing trials right across the street. 3 ski areas within 35 minutes of the room and ice fishing on 7 lakes within 15 minutes.

Blue Mt Rest is in a perfect pristine setting offering mountain views from all our accommodations. Hundreds of lakes dot the Adirondack State park. 80% of the park is state protected, where you may interact deer, wild turkey, black bear, moose, bobcat, coyotes and host of dozens of species of bird, including Osprey and the iconic Loon. The Adirondack Museum makes its home in Blue Mt Lake as well as the BML Arts Center. Nearby is the Wild Center, the parks naturalist Museum. The WW Durant a premier cruise ship offering luncheon & dinner cruises with gourmet food. Water parks and adventure parks are less than 35 minutes away as well as 3 ski areas. Hundreds of miles of trails interlace the whole area for hiking, mountain biking, snowmobiling, x-country skiing, snow tubing and snow shoeing. Take a seaplane ride to get a birds-eye view of the whole area, horseback ride or whitewater raft in this picturesque landscape. If you want flat water experiences 30 lakes, mostly interconnected by numerous streams are perfect for kayaking, canoeing and fly fishing are nearby. Bring your boat or rent one, fish endless streams and lakes offering every angler dozens of species of fish for recreation or a tasty meal. Crystal clean mountain lakes have public beaches if you just want to relax lazily or swim in tepid waters with spectacular views. The Adk state park IS every outdoors-mans dream. Great for families of all sizes.

No there is no public transportation. You will need a car or a motorcycle. But with the mountainous terrain, every turn offers a colorful and scenic vista.

We are pet friendly. However there is a $15 per night "pooch fee" per dog for stays 2 nights or less, $10 per night if 3 nights or more. Or $60 for 7 nights. If 2 dogs, pooch fees are half for the second dog.

Listed rates are prime season summer rates, ask about our seasonal discounts which can range from 10-25% less.
I expect my guests to just be themselves and have a great time. I have excellent clients that come from over 53 countries from all over the world and practically every state in our nation. I would expect that you would respect my property like you would your own home. We are pet friendly but there are fees associated with each dog, see listing. All of my rooms are non-smoking but you can smoke outside.
