The room and property were excellent! The only negative is that you can hear the people above you walking around. Which can happen on a first floor place. But a very nice place with a wonderful beach and good amenities.

This unit is fantastic. Very well updated and super cozy inside. Located within walking distance of necessities and less than a 5 minute druve from the village. My wife and I spent close to a week here and would do it again in a heartbeat.

The studio was amazing! It was in excellent conditions, has everything you might need, and has free transportation stops right outside. For us that like to ski, the Heavenly shuttle passes by every 30 minutes and leaves you right at the lift or gondola. Having a full kitchen is very convenient and worthwhile. We will definitely be back!

The specific unit we rented was very nice. We were disappointed with the parking situation and the common areas of the Lakeside Village complex. We did not venture from our parking space after 2:00 pm (especially on weekends) as there was no guarantee we'd get a parking spot upon our return. Common beach lounge chairs were very limited. Frequently (especially during the week) they were occupied by apparent non-residents of the complex (they were not wearing wrist bands and security was not to be seen). We also frequently noticed parties parking in the Heidi's Restaurant lot after it closed at 2:00 pm and heading to the beach at Lakeside Village causing overcrowding on the beach. The complex needs to beef up its security efforts in the parking lot and on the beach. There were only 2 common grills located at the lakefront. Far too few for a complex as large as this.

We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with some aspects of the Lakeland Village complex. We understand how frustrating it can be when the property is busy and parking or beach space is limited, especially during peak periods. We do want to clarify that we do not manage the Lakeland Village complex itself. The complex and its common areas are managed by the Lakeland Village Homeowners Association (HOA), including the parking areas, beach, lounge chairs, grills, and security. Unfortunately, we have no control over the HOA’s security operations, enforcement, or how the common areas are managed. We appreciate you sharing these observations for future guests to note! Thank you for staying with us!

Perfect for two

Enjoyed our stay very much. The short walk to the beach was perfect. Everything was within either a short drive or walking distance. Our first time to Lake Tahoe, would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay!

We loved staying in the Honeymoon studio at Lakeland Village. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the place was cozy and cute! Location is great as well, walking distance to the private beach and stores. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you for making our stay so great!!!

Great location, awesome amenities!

The property is nice, well located, and my wife and I had a great time there on our honeymoon. Access to the beach is quick, just a short walk through the parking lot. We found the unit easily.

Great weekend getaway!

Our stay was very relaxing and the property was very clean. The location is very convenient for a walk or a short drive to grocery stores and restaurants. There some exterior construction/repair being done at the time of our stay during the weekdays. This did affect our stay as the noise was minimal or we were out in the exploring the city.

We had a great stay! Condo had everything, walking distance to food, shops and beach areas. *BEWARE* you will hear every step of the upstairs condo. That is the only issue we had.

This property was very clean and close to the beach/lake, as well as shops and restaurants (great location). The only reason I gave it 4/5 stars overall was because the upstairs neighbors were loud during the night, like 1-2 a.m. (ex - talking loudly & walking around which made loud creaking noises) and the air conditioning unit was very loud and disruptive while trying to sleep — on the last night we figured out there was a fan in the closet which was much better to use.

Unfortunately, Vail’s front desk staff are not allowed to help guests that are lucky enough to rent a home/condo directly from the owner.. Luckily, you called the RnR hotline and we were able to answer your questions and help with transportation for your group. We hope you enjoyed the beauty of South Lake Tahoe.

Great place!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nicely appointed room, great size. I believe they should allow two people if a couple wanted to stay, not sure why it says max capacity is one person since it’s basically a hotel room. But everything was great, especially the central location so close to the lake.

Affordable, satisfactory

The honeymoon studio was located close to all the action of South Lake Tahoe with easy beach access. The room had everything for our needs. The only disappointment was the shower. It was a bit grungy, and although it functioned fine, it wasn't a shower you wanted to relax in.
