Welcome to our OCEAN FRONT villa located in Shipwatch on Kiawah Island!! Walk into the open kitchen/living room with cathedral ceilings and tons of natural light overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The kitchen is well equipped for all your cooking needs. Flat screen SMART tv's in the living room and both bedrooms. Guest room has two full size beds with a balcony overlooking the beautiful beach and ocean. There is an on-suite full size bathroom. Owners Suite has KING BED, flat screen tv, two closets, full size bathroom, and a balcony with OCEAN VIEWS to enjoy the breezes!!

Shipwatch Villas are conveniently located in West Beach Village and within close biking or driving distance to Freshfields Village for your grocery needs, ice cream shop, boutique shopping, and dining! Please feel free to ask about the many activities available to you on the Island. I'm happy to help set up your perfect Kiawah getaway.

Downtown Charleston is less than 30 miles away.

No smoking and no pets allowed. This non-smoking vacation rental property includes parking, 24-hour security in a gated community, central air conditioning, cable TV, WIFI/internet, linens and bath towels, a departure housekeeping service and a starter supply of paper products, toiletries, and detergents.

As a guest you will receive:

Access to Kiawah's 5 Championship Golf Courses – including The Ocean Course – the location of the 2021 PGA Championship; The Kiawah Island Resort Tennis Center - #1 ranked by Tennis Resorts Online; the Sanctuary spa, shopping, dining, and family friendly activities. Free Wireless Internet Access; Local Property Management staff is on hand in case of emergencies and their friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff can assist you with any needs throughout your stay. Guests DO NOT have access to the resort pools (Night Heron Park, West Beach).

Beautiful vews, watched dolphins from balcony, super clean, bike trails everywhere, close to fishing ponds, beach just out your back door. To say we loved it is an understatement!

Exactly as pictured and described - the ocean view and beach access are spectacular. Caroline was attentive to our requests and saved the day in helping a left-behind stuffed animal come home.

Three balconies faced the ocean. Just stunning. Rooms are very large. Be sure to bring your own DVDs. The villa is super quiet and parking is right in front. Easy walk to the beach.

There was construction in the unit next to us. They were installing metal framing. That required sawing metal which was so loud we couldn’t even talk to each other. This went on for three solid days so we left two days early. The noise was from 8am to 6pm. The host said she could refund one night but nothing else. We have been coming to Kiawah for 30 years and have never been treated this way

Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry that the construction noise during your stay impacted your experience. We understand how disruptive that can be, especially when you’re looking forward to a relaxing time on Kiawah. Prior to your stay, we made every effort to be transparent about the nearby construction that was outside of our control, and the rental rate was adjusted accordingly to reflect the potential inconvenience. Unfortunately, the specific timing and intensity of the work can vary day to day and we are not privy to that schedule as this is a different owner that lives overseas. We regret that it ended up being more disruptive than anticipated during your visit. We did offer a refund for one night and accommodated an earlier arrival due to winter weather impacts. We always aim to be fair while also following the policies in place for the reservation. We truly value our guests and want everyone to have a positive experience on Kiawah. We appreciate your feedback and wish you many more enjoyable visits to the island in the future.

Location is amazing. Views off the balconies are beautiful. Right on the beach very convenient to local restaurants and stores.Easy check-in and checkout process and parking was a breeze. The villa was a good size for a family of five. I wish it was a bit updated for the price, mainly the couch and chair in the living room. Happy with our stay overall. Thank you!

Beach view outstanding. Property is a little “tired” and needs some refreshing. Just before checking in we were informed that the property directly next door was under renovations and could be some noise. The Property Manager was very good at dealing with the issues as best as she could as the property being renovated was in actual fact a “gut job” to the studs.

This place is all about rest and relaxation. The view of the ocean from the private balconies was amazing and the condo itself was very nicely kept and very clean. The short trip down the elevator to the boardwalk and then to the beach takes all of 3 minutes! We already miss walking on the beach in the morning with a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise! The beds very comfy and there was a fully stocked closet with beach chairs, towels and toys. The kitchen was ready to go, all we needed was to bring in some groceries which was easy to get at the nearby Harris Teeter store. The island is very laid back but enough to do explore nearby to have several trips out to shop or enjoy some dinning. We even found a nearby basketball court at Night Heron Park. Highly recommend this place for a quite getaway!!!!
You can enjoy the Ocean view from each room!

Condo was beautiful and well appointed. Easy to find and access. Spacious, updated, and well appointed. Not a complaint to be had.Views from all rooms were breathtaking and beautiful. Floor to ceiling glass with a sweeping view of the dunes and the ocean. All three balconies were lovely to sit on and listen to the wavesManagement Company was responsive and thorough. And the condo had everything we could want for a great day. Would rent again anytime.
