Beachfront and literally right next to the dune walkover. Stunning and unobstructed views of the ocean from 2 large balconies. Enjoy your perfect day in paradise at this exclusive 4 bedroom/4 full bath beachfront home, accommodating 10 comfortably and located in the beautiful resort of Pointe West. High speed wireless access, central air and heat, Cable TV, Dishwasher, Microwave, Washer/Dryer.

You won't want to leave this house, but you must wander out to enjoy all of the amenities offered by Pointe West! If you want access to the beach club and amenities, there is a one time $25/person for access during you stay. This is payable when you register at the beach club when you arrive. At the beach club, you have a large infinity edge pool with an inviting bubbly hot tub, with an 8,000 square foot Gulf-front beach club including a children's pool and play area, 20,000 square feet of sundecks, fitness center, all while watching the breathtaking sunsets. On the bay-side you have the Sunset Pool Club with a pool, lazy river, and hot tub, plus lagoons for fishing, crabbing, kayaking, and canoeing. The Beach club also rents bicycles and pool-side cabanas. There is also a seasonal restaurant at the Beach Club that is typically open from Spring Break to Labor Day weekend. The beach closed to most vehicle traffic, making it very family friendly. The house is also child friendly with a pack-n-play, high chair and 2 stairway gates for your use. There is also a charcoal grille, beach chairs and a cart to roll it over the dune walkover to the beach. The kitchen is well stocked with the equipment you need to cook a fabulous meal.

You will feel the beautiful seclusion at this ocean get-away, but you are only 30 minutes away from the Galveston Seawall including attractions such as:

Moody Gardens (Aquarium, rainforest pyramid, adventure pyramid for kids, golf course, IMAX movies and much more), Schlitterbahn water park, The new Pleasure Pier attraction and Many great restaurants and shops

Only 10 minutes away from Jamaica Beach, which offers gas, grocery, some shops and a couple restaurants. Horseback riding on the beach or gulf side is available for an additional fee in Jamaica Beach.

A little further into Galveston, and there are many historic attractions such as the Moody Mansion, The Strand (shopping and restaurants), the historic Opera house and more. Also Galveston offers a wealth of some of the best fishing charters in the Gulf for the sports oriented.

Todd was a very responsive and supportive host. The house is spacious and has an amazing location facing the beach with easy access to walkover. My multi-generational family had a fabulous stay at Neptune's Nest.

Weā€™ve stayed at quite a few places, but none compared to our stay at Neptuneā€˜s nest from the owner to the property itself to access to the beach. We could not have been happier with our choice to go with this location. Youā€™re close enough to Galveston yet right on the beach itself access Three minutes and thatā€™s just a walk. The owner is truly amazing. Great communication. We will definitely be going back here and I would encourage anyone that is thinking of staying here. Donā€™t give it a second thought it is well worth it.

Great location! You can beat being the house closest to the boardwalk, especially with young children. We went with three families so it was great that the adults each has their own bed and bathroom and the kids shared the room with the queen bed bunk beds. Place was clean and owner was helpful and quick to respond. We would easily stay here again.

Annual Family Trip to Galveston

Very nice property in an excellent location if you donā€™t need quick access to downtown Galveston or the Seawall. Even then the trip into the busier parts is not bad. We enjoyed the quieter beach with small children. We did not visit the main beach club, but the amenities seemed nice. The home is nice and has adequate kitchen supplies. The balconies were the best place to hang out with unobstructed views of the gulf. Would gladly return to this property.

Comfortable & Pleasant

We enjoyed it! Neptune's nest is very nice and well-maintained. The large table in the dining room & on the deck were good gathering places. (Careful, the step down to the deck is a big one!) Plenty of pots & pans. Coat rack at bottom of stairs is very convenient. Loved the view of the Gulf and the super-convenient beach access. It is quite a ways from town and the Seawall area. We knew that when we booked--it just means planning ahead if you're going out to eat or to any events.

Great time at Neptune's Nest

We can't thank Todd enough for accommodating our group so last minute. Our previous rental sustained water damage and we were left scrambling to find an alternative for our large group. Todd was very quick to respond and the house was perfect. It was clean and comfortable. It had all that we needed, and the views were amazing.

Somewhat disappointed

Location was spot on. Couldnā€™t be better. We all enjoyed the stay. The pools were awesome. However, for the price we paid, the furniture needed replacing badly. The 2 chairs in living room smelled and all of furniture you sank in deep. The toaster only worked on one side. The banister is broken from the wall, the one hammock is shredded. I hope the company who rents this talks to the owners. Other than these things. The view is breathtaking. Very nice neighborhood. Be prepared to walk LOTS of stairs.

Great home with a great location!

My family of 6, plus my parents enjoyed our stay at Neptuneā€™s Nest. The house was plenty big for the 8 of us and had a great location. Being so close to the dune walkover helped us feel like we didnā€™t need to load up our lives just to spend a few hours at the beach. The beach was not crowded and we often had it to ourselves. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, which is rare for me to say, since I work as a private chef. We would definitely stay here again! Just be sure to know that youā€™ll be walking up lots of steps when moving in/out. 3 bedrooms are up one flight and the 4th bedroom, kitchen, and living space is up a second flight.

Fun options for families

We found the house to be very convenient and comfortable. The deck on the top floor is very nice with comfy seating and beach view across the dunes. Itā€™s a short walk to the boardwalk and beach. The Beach Club pools were perfect for the kids. I definitely recommend getting the club access. Both pools have fun features and one has a restaurant. The kitchen is big enough, good refrigerator, lots of dishes. It could use some new skillets, sharper knives, and more dish towels. The water from the frig and ice were very good. No need to buy water. . It would be nice to have shower soap and shampoo provided. Overall I would recommend it for families. I rated it four stars because itā€™s super nice but not luxurious. The furniture is slightly worn and the pots are in poor shape.one fan is missing the remote and it was set on low so that room was warm. Baby equipment was fine.

You can't beat the location!

Located at the west end, it's quiet. Takes about 30 minutes to the historic district, but moves right along with lots of restaurants in between. We spent lots of hours on the upper porch just watching the ocean. In spite of the extreme heat Texas was having, the breeze most days made it pleasant. The AC did its job and the house was very comfortable. There's lots of room to spread out and everyone having a bathroom was a plus. Be prepared for 2 stories of steps, but the view is worth it. The Property Manager was quick to respond to my inquiries every time. Well stocked kitchen. Could have used a few more towels (2 a day showers in the heat when we ventured out to the beach), but with a washer/dryer in the unit that took care of the issue. New refrigerator and microwave. Double ice maker so lots of ice for drinks. The Lazy River pool was so refreshingly, only 7 minutes away.

We had a wonderful family reunion /early Motherā€™s Day. The house and property were amazing. Wouldnā€™t recommend spending the money for the resort access such a great house and easy access to beach it unnecessary

Very nice property in an ideal location. Excellent access to the beach. If you do not like being in the crowed area this is your spot. Peaceful with excellent view of the ocean. Property was well appointed and spacious.
