Basic rules:
Cameron’s Flagship is set up for families not to exceed 12 people.
No pets allowed, non negotiable.
No smoking in home or on balconies.
5 night minimum during Summer season.

House comes with linens, wifi, satellite TV, and beach front access. As our guest you will also be able to enjoy the amenities of the Pointe West Beach Resort. There is $25 wristband fee per guest per stay to use the amenities at the Beach Club and Sunset Pool.

Welcome to our lovely 4 bedroom, 4 bath, BEACHFRONT HOME that will accommodate up to 12. You will love the UNOBSTRUCTED VIEWS from the house and the fact that we have the dune walkover in our backyard. Home is located in the beautiful Pointe West subdivision on the west end of Galveston Island. House is designed with an open floor plan which makes it great for those special family and friend gatherings.

Breakdown of house:
*Decking overlooking Gulf of Mexico: Approximately 500 sq. ft.
*Living Room: Flat panel TV with Smart Comcast Box
*Kitchen: New stainless steel appliances (full size french door refrigerator with door-in-door access, Convection oven, Glass top stove, microwave, and dishwasher), and granite countertops.
*Laundry: large capacity LG washer and dryer, ironing board and iron.

*** Extras: Dune walkover 10 steps from back door for easy beach access. Cabana shower downstairs for after beach rinse off. Dual controlled central A/C. Private Manicured Beach (no driving allowed on beach makes it safe and the beach is combed daily during summer to control seaweed. Resort also sprays weekly during summer for mosquito control. ***


Sleeping Arrangements:
*Primary bedroom: King size memory foam bed, TV with Smart Comcast Box, en-suite bath with whirlpool tub, separate shower, dual sinks, and walk in closet. Comes with Private balcony deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico.
*Second bedroom: Queen size memory foam bed with en-suite bath.
*Third bedroom: 2 sets of bunk beds and a mounted flat screen TV with smart Comcast box
*Fourth bedroom: Memory foam Queen size bed.
*Living Room: Memory foam Queen sleeper sofa.

** NO PETS AND NO SMOKING **

Resort amenities include navigable lagoons for canoeing and kayaking, a bayside pool club for swimming and sunning, and several parks, playgrounds, and pavilions for relaxing. All that plus a spectacular Gulf front beach club with infinity edge pool, well-equipped fitness center, and a bar and grill serving casual seasonal fare.

Connecting these amenity centers are miles of paved resort trails perfect for biking, strolling or electric carts.

Great place to have fun

Very clean. Great view of ocean. You will need a cart or car to ride to pool. Too far to walk. Pools were great. Overall it was a blast.

Beach Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation in Galveston Beach for Thanksgiving. There was lots of fishing and beach walking. The house was a perfect size and there was everything that we needed in the kitchen. The house was very clean and nicely furnished.

Relaxing getaway

Our family of six, four teenagers between 14 & 16 had an amazing time at this great home. Plenty of space to sleep, beautiful views and a great, safe community environment. We rented a golf cart from Rick’s Golf cart and they delivered right to the house. This allowed us to get all around the beach club, which was awesome. The house had all we needed, the owner was very responsive. Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice place to stay

The only thing that we would change would be we would have liked to have been closer to stores and the City. Also communication about the lock on the door in the back top balcony not locking. Not that anybody could get in but when it's stormed we were afraid it would blow open and do damage

Always a great memory made...

This is my third time at the property and it never disappoints. Andea the owner is exceptional. Answered every question and ensured the property was in perfect condition before we came since Hurricane Beryl had just left the island. Xfinity hadn't come yet to restore service but it was the best thing! Andrea had all sorts of games for us to use and the family had more fun at nights than ever before. No phones just fun family time. Another great memory made. Until next year. Thank you, Andrea and her husband!

Great house

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property. There were two five year olds and 6 adults. We had plenty of room and the location was perfect. Just steps to the walkway to the beach. The beach was never crowded even on July 4th. The host was very responsive. Highly recommend.

Paradise Found! Private Beachfront Gem with Exceptional Host

We just returned from an incredible stay at this beachfront property in Galveston,The home was immaculately clean and perfectly equipped for our group of 10. The beach was practically our own private oasis, thanks to the no-cars-allowed policy. The walkway was by the house and is convenient but it’s still a decent walk to beach. I would say 5-6 mins. We enjoyed endless hours of sun, sand, and serenity with barely other people around us. Our host, Andrea, was an absolute delight. When we noticed the fridge wasn't working, she sprang into action and had a brand new one delivered and installed the very same day! The house was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, from beach toys and wagons to comfortable chairs and even freshly washed comforters (a lovely touch!). The laundry detergent and Keurig K-cups were also a nice surprise. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this property to others. The location and amenities made for a relaxing and enjoyable beach vacation. Thanks, Andrea!

Nice House and Location

Enjoyed our stay here, the house is nice and clean with nice size bedrooms. Easy walk to the beach and nice decks to enjoy. Would have been 5 stars but the A/C went out while we were there. I will say Andrea went out of her way to make sure we had a place to sleep with A/C while she had the A/C serviced. She was very responsive.

Stout Family Vacay

We came here for a fun family holiday by the beach with my husband’s family. The place when you walk in is very welcoming and homey and CLEAN. The view was absolutely amazing. Having coffee in the back porch with the sounds of the ocean was just heaven. The size of the rooms were great. Nothing felt too small. We loved that it had the room with all the bunk beds for all the kids to share. The short walk to the beach was awesome. We had such a great experience here. Only downfall is if you feel like doing something more in town it is a 30 min drive at least to get there. But if you’re looking for a great place by the beach I highly recommend booking here!

Great beach house

Great property & amenities

The home was a great location, right next to the boardwalk. The house had everything we needed for meals, beach & pool fun! The extra amenities that you have access too make this a great option for families of all ages. The check out process was the easiest I’ve ever stayed out. The drive to the Seawall blvd was longer than we originally expected. But it wa not an issue. We spent all days on the grounds of the resort/beach and then drive for supper. Would absolutely recommend this home to others

Spring break

We spent spring break in Galveston with my brother and his family. The home was super comfortable and conveniently right by the beach. The neighborhood is nice and safe. The home is clean and comfortable. The beds, especially the master were super comfy. Loved hearing the ocean right from the deck!

Great house and perfect location

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the Gulf. House was perfect for our family. The manager was very responsive with texts to ensure entry to the house. In addition, they promptly delivered needed items with a surprise flower bouquet in response to our request. Definitely worth a return visit.

Beautiful Oasis on the Waterfront!

We loved our stay! The property was roomy and spacious...more than met our needs! Pointe West is a great community with amazing water features. We will definitely return when coming to the area!

Excellent Stay!

The location was perfect! The house is about 30 min from the main seawall attractions but it was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle. The walkway to the beach was right outside the house which made it super easy to access the beach. The house is beautiful and was perfect for our stay. Andrea was great to work with and had everything you could possibly need while staying there. We loved it and will definately book again if going to Galveston with a large group. Looks can be deceiving

The pictures on this review are a little inaccurate. House was pretty dirty to the point my wife had to clean for like a hour when we got there. The house also needs some TLC (floorboards coming up downstairs, paint missing everywhere, black mold in showers). Great location near the beach, but you will need to get in a car to get to the pool. We will be back to Pointe West, but would get a different house next time.

Great house and awesome location!

The location of this property was perfect, right next to the boardwalk to go down to the beach. The house was very clean and views were amazing. Bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable beds. The kitchen was very well equipped with anything you might need for cooking. Grill and picnic tables downstairs were great. Plenty of beach toys for the kids as well as a wagon and chairs for the beach. Had to contact Andrea about the internet and she responded immediately. There was not a problem with the internet, just the user, and Andrea was very gracious about it. Would definitely rent this house again!

perfect for our multi-family stay

This property was perfect for our multi-family stay. 3 sets of parents each had their own bedroom with bathroom. The kids all stayed in the bunk room with their own bathroom. The house was super clean when we arrived, and the check in/check out process was beyond easy. We had to reach the host twice during our stay and the response time for a text/call was immediate. The proximity to the beach was the best. The boardwalk is just next to the back yard. The back yard was also large enough for the kids to play in. I would very much recommend this house and would rent it again in the future if available.

Senior Trip and Family Spring Break- Fishing, beach, pools

We traveled as two families here from Ohio to give our 4 teen boys a spring break/senior trip. The boys planned this area to spend time fishing and time in the ocean. The property was perfect with enough room and bathrooms to give everyone their own space. This was probably the most well stocked VRBO that I’ve stayed at! An abundance of kitchen items needed to prepare and eat! So thankful for the little things like coffee filters, griddle, and blender to use! Property was very clean- kudos to the cleaning crew! The garage was stocked with beach wagon and chairs and beach toys. We enjoyed the patio area underneath for grilling and hangout. Our first day we went to the HEB grocery store - excellent prices and seasoned meats ready for the grill. I’m glad we stocked up on things because the location is about 30+ minute drive to a grocery store or restaurants in Galveston area. (We did enjoy a few restaurants about 10 minutes away- we just had to be mindful of their off season hours) So convenient with the beach entrance right there. We rented 2 golf carts and it was fun to get around the Pointe West community and pools. Pointe West does charge a fee of $25/person for the week to have access to their 2 pool areas- they were very nice and kept clean. Due to cooler temps during our stay we were thankful for the heated pools- a nice resort feel and great to be able to bring food and drinks to hang out. Our family enjoyed use of the game room pool table and table tennis- you had to check out the equipment from the front office- they put a $25 hold on your credit card, then refund $20 when you bring it back. Andrea was great to work with- thank you for sharing your home with us!

We wanted a beach house that was beach front, kid and family friendly, and had a pool nearby. When we found Pointe West, we got everything on our wish list and more, like manicured beaches and mosquito control. Driving is not allowed on our beach which is a huge plus on the island and our local security patrols the Beach Club and neighborhood.

Cameron's Flagship Beach House is in the 'Cottages' area of the Pointe West Resort. Our house is the closest to the dune walk over and we are Beach Front. We recently replaced main level flooring with luxury vinyl planks, replaced carpet upstairs, replaced Air Conditioner and added Nest Thermostat, painted exterior, updated our deck furniture with slings and loungers, and replaced barbecue grill.
