The Point on Dodge Pond — your winter basecamp in Rangeley

Winter hits different out here. The Point sits at the very tip of its own private peninsula on Dodge Pond, and when the snow comes, the whole place turns into a postcard — frozen lake, quiet pines, and some of the best skiing in New England 20 minutes from the front door.

Ski Saddleback, sleep 14. Saddleback Mountain is 11 miles away (about a 20-minute drive), and we've rented two ski lockers at the hill for our guests — leave your skis, boards, and boots there instead of hauling gear back and forth every day. When you're done on the mountain, come home to a warm house with room for everyone: the Point sleeps 14, so bring the whole crew, two families, or the full ski-trip group chat.

Snowmobile straight from the door. When Dodge Pond is completely frozen, you can ride directly from the property onto the lake and connect to the local snowmobile trail network — no trailering needed. (Travel across the frozen lake is at your own risk.) Coming from out of town with multiple sleds? There's plenty of room to park snowmobile trailers right on the property — unload and you're off. Beyond sledding, the Rangeley Lakes region is built for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and ice fishing. Mornings start slow with coffee (we've got you covered with both K-cups and drip), evenings end by the fire.

The practical stuff: check-in 4:00 PM, checkout 10:00 AM (we're flexible when we can be — just ask). EV charger on site (J1772). Tap water's safe to drink. Two full living areas, a real kitchen, wifi, and plenty of parking for the whole caravan.
