Welcome to Hawks Nest, your home away from home in the Smokies. This 3 bedroom cabin is conveniently located less than 3 miles to the Gatlinburg strip! It has a fully equipped kitchen for those wanting to make meals at the cabin. Enjoy a seasonal gas fireplace in the living room (operational from Oct - Mar). Play a game of pool or enjoy the arcade games located in the loft. Grill up some of your favorite fixins on the gas grill outside or roast s'mores over the gas firepit. Soak away after a long day of exploring or shopping in the hot tub!

Very convenient location, and no issues with the driveway. We enjoyed our time at the property, hot tub was a nice plus. If you are looking for a convenient location with everything you need, and a clean house, just book it! Communication was perfect!

It was nice and we had a great time. The last nite we were in the hot tub and had pizza on the porch and a bear climbed up the porch!!! We moved pretty fast to get back inside!

The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a 5 star stay. We would certainly want to stay here the next time we come to town with our family. The rooms are spacious; the game area was fun; the kids enjoyed the hot tub; it is located conveniently close to many things.

Great stay

Loved the cabin, very convenient to Gatlinburg. Saw bears daily around the cabin, one came up just after we arrived checking door handles trying to get in the car.

Everything was excellent! Extremely quick responses. They even answered the phone when called. Shower pressure not great!! However the hot tubs in the rooms were excellent.

Highly recommend Hawks Nest for any get away, family, friends even a romantic get away (but it’s a huge place for just 2 people). My family of 5 enjoyed our time here. Check in was a breeze, we received our entry pin promptly and communication about any questions was quick and easy with a simple text. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are huge and fit us all nicely. The bathrooms are great; only thing is we couldn’t figure out how to work the jetted tubs lol. Living spaces were perfect for relaxing, playing games (love that they have some available in the tv stand and upstairs “bar” in the loft) and cooking when we didn’t want to eat out. The house is perfectly located in my opinion, far enough away from the downtown area for some peace and quiet, we even saw bears in the driveway on two occasions, but also close enough to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge that you can run to either for anything you need or to spend the day. A few highlights for us as a family; the washer and dryer on site, dishwasher, open layout downstairs for the kids to play, game loft and hot tub kept everyone busy, TVs in every room, tall porch railings, quiet street. Definitely recommend Hawks Nest and Magnolia Rentals and plan to use them in the future for any stays.

Overall the stay was great! Lots of open space to hangout and the back porch with hot tub was amazing! Bathrooms are very spacious and nice!The main complaint I would warn people about was the cleanliness. The first night when walking around unpacking and all our feet were black from walking on the floors(we did not go outside). There were spiders and cobwebs in the shower, and closet as well as centipedes and more spiders in the tub. There was old popcorn in the cabinets. As far as the house itself it was great beware the driveway is steep so make sure you’re comfortable with that! The dishwasher did not work which was another thing and I wish there was some sort of cleaner we could use to wipe down counters and keep clean. Also the jets in the tubs did not work.Overall the house served what we needed it to besides the cleanliness.

When you contacted us, we offered to address the concerns during your stay, but we completely respected your preference not to have anyone come to the cabin. We take your feedback seriously and will be addressing these items with our cleaning team, as well as having maintenance inspect the dishwasher and tub jets. We truly appreciate you bringing everything to our attention.

Clean and convenient!

The cabin was just as described in the listing. Very clean and spacious. There were a few things that could have been better. The beds are not very comfortable, the mattresses are super thin and hard in every room. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t great and the out door lighting could be better. While those things could use improvement it didn’t hinder our stay. We enjoyed the cabin feel and the convenience to downtown Gatlinburg.

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The blinds were broken, the dishwasher would not drain, and there were cobwebs throughout the property, making it feel like it hadn’t been cleaned well.The hot tub was another major issue. It would not stay warm and continuously leaked water, requiring us to refill it multiple times during our stay. The jetted tubs also did not work, and the ceiling fan in the downstairs bedroom was broken.Overall, the property needs better maintenance and upkeep before I could recommend it to others.

Great property that is clean and has good sleeping spaces. The parking is very tight if you have more than one car, but parking on the road (it dead ends just past the house) is an option. It was convenient to downtown Gatlinburg, Smokey mountains national park, and pigeon forge. The area was also quiet, but during full summer foliage you will not have a view, but you will have lots of privacy.
