Just a great getaway, cabin is decorated perfectly for where itā€™s at, WiFi and entertainment are awesome, super quiet and relaxing area , weā€™re a couple of oldtimers so it was perfect, I would wonder about how to keep kids busy, awesome place would definitely go back

The views of the Escanaba river from the home's large dining room and living room windows are very inviting, and having the wood stove's flames to view and warm to enjoy in the evening, while sitting in evergreen-themed, very comfortable furniture. was great!

We truly enjoyed our time here. We rarely get a chance to relax at home and this is just what we needed. The cabin has everything you need! The chairs on the deck are so comfy and that view with the sound of the river would never get old! We loved how clean and cozy it was here! Thanks for sharing this place!

First family vacation

My husband, infant daughter, our dog, and I had a wonderful stay on our first trip as a family of four.The views are beautiful and there is plenty of fishing, both at the house and many locations nearby! There is also great hiking nearby!

We absolutely loved our stay!! This was such a comfortable and cozy cabin! Loved sitting on the deck in the morning and during sunset! Such great views. Very clean!! Location is super nice! Not far from the town or hiking trails! Overall loved our stay so much!! Thank you!

We spent our anniversary trip at this quaint little cottage and fell in love almost immediately. The deck overlooking the River is just about as peaceful as it gets. We seen so much wild life and spent a majority of our time here. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed.The livingroom was comfy at night to wind down. We absolutely would come back in the future! Kari was a dream to communicate with as well.

Restful on the River

The house is located on the river and is fantastic. Really, you have got to sit on the deck and soak up the peaceful waters, watch the deer and eagles (yes, eagles), and other wildlife. The interior is fully functional and laid out really well for relaxation. Really appreciated the NetFlix too for late evening chilling. Cannot go wrong staying here. Owners were great to work with and communicated really well. We'll be back!

Quiet, clean, very comfortable. Accessories include (that weren't listed on VRBO) coffee maker, TV, ceiling fans. It's great for younger and early middle aged people. I'm 72 and my wife is 65. We didn't know that there were large steps from where we could park the car to the cabin. Further, to use the fire pit, there were many more stairs down to that and the river.

July 22nd-July 26 Gorgeous Setting on the River!

We chose this property because it is centrally located to many places to visit on ā€œDay Tripsā€, all within an hours drive or less!!! We visited the ā€œFayette Historic Townsiteā€, ā€œGladstone Lighthouseā€, ā€œPeninsula Point Lighthouseā€ in Rapid River, and ā€œSandpoint Lighthouseā€ in Escanaba! We spent an afternoon at the ā€œIsland Resort & Casinoā€ in Harris, Mi which is only 22 miles away and another day in Munising, Mi to go on a boat tour to see ā€œPictured Rocks National Lakeshoreā€ which was breathtaking and only 64 miles from this location. Sitting on the back deck is better than spending a day at the spaā€¦.with the gurgling river, the eagle that flys to the tree across the river and the small deer that come down to take a sip of cool water at the end of the day. The sunsets are gorgeous, the cabin spacious and stocked as if you were ā€œHomeā€ with a grill, a fire pit complete with chopped wood and roasting sticks for sā€™mores!!!! We canā€™t wait to come back again to explore and see more in the Beautiful UP! Thanks again! -Patricia & Steve and the pups!
