The beach view was beautiful, and the unit was clean and as described. Unfortunately, several issues took away from our stay. The biggest issue was the thermostat. We received conflicting instructions saying it could be set no lower than 70 degrees, then 72 degrees, while the information in the unit said 70. When I contacted property management, I was told to keep it at 72 during our stay and that we could be responsible for repairs if we set it to 70 and the unit froze. With temperatures in the mid-90s, 72 was too warm for me to sleep comfortably. If the HVAC system cannot handle being set to 70, it seems the system should be upgraded rather than placing that responsibility on guests. We were also told the refrigerator ice maker was broken, but no ice trays were provided, so we had to buy ice. We could clearly hear loud music and TV from the unit above, both inside and on the balcony. Only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom was provided, requiring us to purchase more. There were also multiple sets of rules and instructions, including information that did not apply to our stay, which made things unnecessarily confusing. The property itself was beautiful, but these issues significantly took away from what should have been a relaxing stay.
