The place was great and even better than it appears in the listing. It’s got a lot of nice touches inside and out and was exceptionally clean. We had a great time!

We had a great stay! We especially loved the location with close proximity to both Harwich and Chatham , as well as the beach right down the road. Beds upstairs were very comfortable, however the downstairs sleeping arrangements could use some improvements. Overall it was a great house and we would definitely stay again!

Very nice, comfortable house for a week long stay. Clean, effective air conditioning system and comfortable for sleeping. Convenient to 4 beaches in Chatham, and close to mill creek for bird watching. Attractive property, lots of outdoor, shaded seating, patio, etc. Quiet area throughout the day and evening. Almost no noise, so a relaxing spot.

Wonderful visit

Property was just as advertised. Very clean and ready at check in. Kitchen was well stocked with equipment for cooking. The location is fabulous and so close to multiple beaches. Communication with host was easy and quick. We loved our stay and would definitely consider staying there again in the future. Thanks so much

First time in Cape Cod

Enjoyed the rear deck, yard and fire pit. Close to the beach. Nice house. Could have used more regular drinking glasses, serving platters and a place to store groceries. Chaise lounges on the deck would be a nice addition.

Hello and thank you for your review and feedback. We appreciate suggestions on how we can better accommodate guests! We have added more drinking glasses, serving platters and a new storage cabinet in the kitchen for storing groceries. We also added comfortable lounging chairs on the deck.

We were very impressed with Seaglass cottage. They were so many extra special amenities, such as robes and a brand new high-tech air conditioning system along with everything being absolutely immaculate. Every detail of the house was lovingly prepared. The only thing that seemed a little odd is that we were not allowed to use the washer or dryer. I don’t usually rent any property without access to a washer dryer, but I must say all the amenities made up for it. Also, I appreciated how responsive via tax the owner was when I couldn’t get the beeping on the stove to stop. We ended up googling it and fixing it, but the owner was very responsive and pleasant via text.

A gem in Chatham

Ma famille et moi même avons eu un superbe séjour à cette maison. Le ménage était absolument impeccable, la localisation aussi. Les lits étaient confortables et les photos de rendent pas justice à la beauté de la maison. Tout était parfait. Nous aurions apprécié avoir laveuse séchage mais sinon tout était parfait!

2 week getaway

We checked in on an incredibly hot weekend and we were very happy to find that Tim was installing an AC unit in the lower level which was lovely. The AC in the rooms made sleeping very comfortable . We took the car to Forest Beach because of the heat but parking was really easy. The waters edge was full of shells and rocks so we needed water shoes, but the water was lovely. We tried out a few beaches including Nauset. The Atlantic water was chilly but felt good in the heat. The house had everything we needed, including a TON of DVDs and VHS old school tapes. There are books everywhere if you have some quiet time. Restaurants are close. Be sure to make some reservations ahead .

Quaint sea cottage

This is a great property for a small family. The location is great being such a short ride into downtown Chatham and near several beaches. The drawbacks are: they do not have central air and the only 2 air conditioners in the bedroom are extremely loud. They advertise it as 2 bathrooms but unfortunately the downstairs toilet was not working even after trying the trick they thought worked to refill the tank. I was pleasantly surprised though by how well they have stocked the house with so many amenities which made it so much easier to cook and head to the beach without having to bring a lot of supplies from our home.

Great house

The house was very nice with a beautiful deck. The neighborhood was quiet and close to the bike path . Chatham is a great area of the cape. Only “ complaint “ would be the seating in the living room upstairs. Can’t comfortably seat a family of four . Two couches or a sectional would be a great improvement .

Clean and Quiet!

The house is clean and tucked away on a quiet little road. Our family of three enjoyed sitting on the deck, relaxing in the hammock and sitting in the quiet front or back yard. Forest Beach is about a half a mile - biked there easily. Also easy access to the Chatham bike trail and from there to the Cape Code Bike trail. Easy car ride into Chatham, good central Cape location. The kitchen is updated and we cooked several meals there. The owners were very responsive and helpful.

Lovely, relaxing, spacious home

We had a great stay in this home. Owners were very responsive and helpful in getting to know the Cape. We loved the open concept kitchen/living, the outdoor space, deck, grill, hammock, outdoor shower—and the quiet relaxing neighborhood, albeit a drive from Main Street in Chatham. There is no washer dryer available in the home which we found difficult on a beach vacation. Also, while the basement level was cozy and inviting, it needed more ventilation to be comfortable. Overall this home is even nicer than the pictures in the listing capture with lots of great books to read and closet full of games/puzzles for kids!

Weekend celebration

The house was exactly as pictured, very clean & in a peaceful location. It was close to beaches & the rail trail. We were able to communicate with the host easily. I would highly recommend this house.

Great experience overall

I stayed here for a week with my daughter and thought the location and set up was a great fit for us. Tim was extremely responsive every time I contacted him (before, during and after our stay). It was pretty hot when we were there so I wish it had central AC, but otherwise it was comfortable and cozy for us. I loved the outdoor shower and deck area was great too. I would recommend this property!

Great location !

Me, my wife and our 17 month old daughter enjoyed every minute of our stay at this beautiful house. It is very clean and has a wonderful porch where we enjoyed our breakfast in the mornings and had some fun time playing with our daughter. It has a nice walking path ( 10 - 15 mins. ) to the beach and is near all the restaurants and shops on the main street, about 3 mins. away by car. A great location to stay and go out and discover Cape Cod.

Summer on the Cape - great family vacation

We've been renting in the Chatham area for many years and this was one of our favorite houses. The owners have done everything possible to make it a nice vacation home. Everything was fresh and clean and it was extremely organized. We had everything we needed for cooking, heading to the beach, biking on the rail trails, etc. The layout of the family room/den with its own bath downstairs and the 2 bedrooms and bath upstairs was ideal for us, as my older son had privacy and my husband and I and our two younger daughters had plenty of space upstairs. We also really liked the location, which was close to the beaches and towns of Chatham and Harwichport.

Perfect vacation on the Cape

We had a wonderful time during our week in this perfect vacation home. Everything was as advertised and in working order. There was really nothing missing and there were bikes, beach chairs, boogie boards, games and other useful gear available for us to use. The owner was very responsive to any queries and went out of his way to assist with any questions or needs before and during our stay. Very highly recommended!

Nice Stay

Enjoyed our stay. House had everything we needed and location was ideal. Forest Beach and several good restaurants were within walking distance. Downtown Chatham and Harwichport were a short drive away.
